A private sandy beach out front is great for the kids, and the spectacular lakeside setting is the perfect place for swimming, canoeing, kayaking, FISHING, and all sorts of water activities. Relax on the swim raft, or head out on your boat to enjoy the lake. Fishing on Wentworth is a favorite pastime and the lake is known for its smallmouth bass. Bring your boat and come right up to the generous dock. Included in the rental is use of the canoe and kayaks, paddle board and an OPTIONAL fishing boat is available for rent. There are swings outside for the kids and the cottage is located on a dirt road, great for bikes or a pleasant run.
The camp has FIVE bedrooms with a queen bed on the entry level in the master, and another queen upstairs. The third bedroom has two twin beds and there is a double bed in the separate loft area. There is one bathroom on the main floor with a shower. The kitchen is fully equipped with a stove, microwave, generously sized refrigerator, cookware, and utensils. There is also a gas grill on the porch. The oversized glass sliders provide wonderful views from the great room and the large deck connects you with the outdoors.
The finished walk-out-to-the-lake lower level has fantastic views from the dual 9-foot sliders and hosts two additional bedrooms with queen beds, a modern bathroom with a 6 foot soaking tub with dual showers and granite countertop, and a bonus family room for the kids to have their own space. The house offers privacy for 10 in bedrooms, plus a loft with a double bed and a queen-size futon in the lower level.
A gas fireplace set on the granite hearth helps set the mood for relaxation and country living on a cool night, but fast cable internet with WIFI and a smart TV are also available for your evening enjoyment, as are TV's in the main bedrooms. There is no phone, but Verizon and other cellular services have good reception. Newly added is a fire pit by the lake where you can sit on a cook evening and cook S'mores.
The lake itself is about five by three miles with many islands and a nature preserve, Stamp Act Island in the middle. It is known for its tranquility and the superb water quality, perfect for a peaceful vacation. Just a few minutes from downtown Wolfeboro, the house is close to shopping, fine dining and casual restaurants, golf, walking/hiking trails, museums, and all the activities provided by Lake Winnipesauke and the Lakes Region, yet away from the noise and crowds of the bigger lake.

The home location is fantastic. The issue wis the specifics of the online listing. It eludes to three bathrooms but there is only 2. They count the outdoor shower on the listing. The home has no sheets on the bed and they offer you to use your own sheets or use their mismatched sheets from a cupboard but you must wash them yourself, fold them, and out them away or they will charge you 100 fee. The furniture is stained and old. Lastly, the driveway is very steep and depending on your vehicle can have issues getting out in reverse. Overall, the listing could have been fantastic but there is a significant lack of accuracy in the listing that makes you question the honesty of it. For the money, ai was very disappointed.
Our family had an incredible week at Lake Wentworth, it was hard to leave! This charming spot on the lake with great mountain views and spectacular sunsets was a slice of heaven for all of us. The outdoor seating is optimal with both sunny and shady options. Dock, lake access, canoe, etc... This place has everything you need to enjoy the lake. The house also had everything we needed to enjoy cooking meals together, hanging out around the fire pit, and of course tons of swimming! On rainy days we played games and did puzzles all while enjoying a huge panoramic view of the lake while warm and cozy inside. We also spotted plenty of wildlife, including a bald eagle.

Great location
Lake was beautiful. Lower level of the house appears to have been recently updated and was great but the main level was in rough shape. Upper level bedrooms were extremely tight and the upper level bedrooms had little privacy as the walls were open on the top.
The water views and access were incredible. It was great to be able to walk into the water and swim with a sandy bottom that wasn’t mucky/squishy. My favorite was listening and watching the loons.
This was the perfect place for our family to stay. Lake Wentworth holds a special place in our hearts and this offered that right in the back yard. Everything listed out in the details of the listing were accurate and not misleading. Great neighborhood that makes you feel secluded and private. Thanks for a great week!!

We’re glad you had a great stay! The camp is in a wonderful location for families to get together and spend a relaxing week on the water.
We just loved this place. There was plenty of room for our large, multi-family group. The location was perfect, right on the water with its own dock and swim platform along with a plethora of water crafts to use. We used the fishing boat, canoe, paddle board and kayaks. If the weather had cooperated we would’ve done more swimming but we occupied ourselves enough with the fishing, exploring Wolfeboro, leisurely paddling around the lake. All utensils and kitchenware were available. There were a ton of sheets and towels at our disposal. The owner was very responsive. My only issue was the expectation to have everything washed and cleaned and put away before we left or pay 100 for use of sheets and towels. And the grill really needs to be replaced.
Wonderful location, beautiful views across the lake. House was very clean, downstairs shower had two shower heads, no shortage of hot water when all showers were used. We brought two boats and 8 people show up (one couple and 6 singles). Everything was very comfortable, Wi-Fi worked great, nice apple orchard down the road that also sells fire wood ($60 for pickup load). We parked two trucks with trailers and 5 other cars across the street and in the driveway. It’s a dead end road with basically no traffic but otherwise one lane with different pull off areas.
Had great communication with host before our stay and would highly recommend!
Will return!
Absolutely loved our stay here. Views couldn’t have been better (perfect weather helped) and it slept 12 of us comfortably. Plenty of seating for around the fire and inside for all of us as well. The paddle boards and kayaks are a great addition to any rental and provided a lot of fun during our stay. Kitchen stocked with basic essentials was very helping with meal planning. Peaceful and secluded, but still very close to downtown Wolfeboro with many cute shops and good food. Communication with the host was very good - very responsive and helped with any questions we had. Will definitely consider renting again in the future :)
We very much enjoyed our time with our family on Lake Wentworth. The house was as described. Clean, family friendly with lots to do (and not do). We would highly recommend.

Beautiful place but needs more cleaning and many things to improve
We had a great time at Lake Wentworth. Our granddaughters had fun playing on the sandy beach and our grandsons had fun jumping off the swim platform and fishing. We had beautiful views of the lake and the mountains beyond it.
Overall it was a fun, happy, memorable week.
Property was as advertised. Excellent proximity to the water. Spacious, great family room for evening movies. Water was clean and refreshing. Would love to go back!
We had a very relaxing week, the house was so comfortable to us. The area is very quiet when we stayed in June. The Loons were very vocal at night and it was so peaceful sitting out on the deck listening to their cry. The house was well outfitted and had everything we could ask for. There is a nice dock for fishing and a plus was a sandy swimming area!
We are definitely considering on returning
My family of 10 was in town for a wedding, and this house was perfect! There was plenty of space for all of us, and our favorite spot was the dock! We enjoyed sitting on the dock, taking in the beautiful views, and enjoying a little bit of peace and time together. My only regret is that we didn't have more time to relax here!!

We are so pleased you enjoyed your stay. The house is a great spot to gather while attending a fall wedding or event. Foliage weekends are special at the lake.
11 family members comfortably stayed under one roof and created lasting memories together. This cabin delivered on our expectations. The sunrises on the dock are worth the price of admission.
The accommodations are no frills functional, inspiring you to take advantage of all the outdoors have to offer. The lake has been one of our favorite destinations, for over 3 generations, and this cabin delivered on the expected standard.
Great house! Lots of seating! Tons of toys for lots of fun! If anything comes up, the owners are exceptionally responsive and will resolve it quickly! Definitely a fun place for a beautiful vacation.
Property provided an excellent opportunity for family gathering and water sports. Air conditioning the two upper floors would greatly improve the properties appeal.
My family ( adults, children and grandchildren) truly enjoyed our time here. There was plenty of space for us to gather to play games, watch movies and eat our meals. The kitchen was well stocked for anything you might need for cooking.
There are plenty of beds for large families.
We all enjoyed sitting out on the dock to watch the beautiful sunset. Lots of comfortable outdoor
seating with a great fire pit for toasting marshmallows.
Daniel was available for any questions that we had.
It rained quite a bit during our week, but Daniel let us rent his motorboat the last two nice days we had. That was wonderful! Thank you! We had a great time.
