Watauga River views and frontage. Beautiful 5 bedroom, 5 1/2 bath home on one of the most sought-after trophy trout fishing destinations in the southeast. Beautiful hardwood floors, 4 fireplaces, covered decks and patios for entertaining, or just relaxing. Use of kitchen and private entrance. Access to fire pit, hot tub, pool table and home theater. Close to I-26 for dining and shopping. Kennels available. Private float trips available upon request for $35 per person. bird hunting trips with access to a private reserve The Tweetsie Trail (9.5 mile bike/walking trail) is less than 1/4 mile away. and a golf course 1/2 mile from the house. Our extended family stayed her to attend my nephew's wedding. It was a bit of a partial family reunion for us. The property was very family friendly and comfortable. The kids enjoyed the spaces to play games and to be outside. The view of the river was beautiful. The porch was very relaxing just to hang out or read. We enjoyed watching the birds around the river. Overall a very nice stay for us.

Host exceeded our espectations. Wonderful home for our family Thanksgiving vacation, large well stocked kitchen with impressive dinning room with activites for entire family ( pool table, shufflle board, hot tub, foosball and unexpected theater room , which Grandkids enjoyed watching Garfield and eating popcorn), while extra outside areas provided adults with fantastic views of river and country side. Fishing for Trout is a plus at this location. this property offers more pluses than we have mentioned .The standout point was the the host.

Gorgeous home with plenty of room for the whole family. Beds were comfortable and so dreamy to have all king beds. The landscape with the river right there is beautiful. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay again!

Tennessee Base Camp

A great place for our group of 8 to base out of and have a great trip. You are close to hiking, biking Sweenie Trail and rafting. Then you come home to a beautiful deck on the river where you can fix a great meal and relax after a fun adventurous day.

This house was just fabulous for our family to get together and have an excellent family vacation! Vince was always available for questions, helpful and eager to do all he could to make our stay memorable! We absolutely loved this place!! Vince, the host was extremely helpful! The place was amazing, very big and decorated very nice! The beds were extremely comfortable. The property is beautiful and it was so nice to sit out on the deck and look at the beautiful water view. Great place for a big family with lots of room to spread out. We will definitely go back! Really enjoyed my stay at the Riverbend Retreat. Vince was so thoughtful and ensured that we had everything we needed. The house was more than accommodating to a group of 15 for a special event. We really enjoyed the amenities and the view over the river. The house is well taken care of and loved by the owner and feels like home. I would stay again.

We visited the area for fly fishing. The house was a perfect spot for us. After fishing each day we relaxed on the decks by the river. The house is large, well equipped, clean, and very comfortable. The host, Vince, made it easy for us and was very attentive to our needs. I would certainly rent this house again.

Family Joy and Delight

My husband, adult children, their spouses and our three grandgirls (10, 7, and 2) had a delightful time at this spacious, will outfitted river retreat. So very nice for everyone to have their own space and great spaces indoors and out to gather, hangout, enjoy the nature right outside. Our host responded within minutes to every request.

This house was amazing. Lots of space for the 9 people in my family. Plenty of room for everyone, 5 bedrooms each having it's own bath. Huge plus! Loved the house. Owner was helpful when we had an issue with something, he got right on it and took care of it immediately. The location on the river is beautiful.

Spectacular River View

Wataugua River was spectacular feature. We enjoyed fishing, wading in the shallows and just the view from large back porch. The house was large and accommodated our big group extremely well. Kitchen was easy to use to make meals for everyone. it was especially great that all bedrooms had an en suite bathroom. Beds were very comfortable & king-size. Location had easy access to stores or anything needed in Elizabethton. Owner & host were very friendly & accommodating.
