St. Lucia 703 is the perfect location for your next Destin beach vacation.

The interior spaces of Silver Shells St. Lucia 703 have been tastefully decorated with a tropical theme. An open floor plan gives the whole family or group space to relax together. The living area is beach-facing, features floor-to-ceiling windows and sliding glass doors, and provides seating for everyone to gather around the flat-screen TV. The spacious beach-facing balcony is perfectly furnished to allow for entertaining or dining while taking in spectacular views of the white sand beach and emerald waters. The dining area has seating for six with two additional seats at the breakfast bar. The fully equipped kitchen includes full-size stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, and all the cookware and dishware you could need for creating memorable meals. Right off the kitchen is a laundry closet with a full-size washer and dryer.

The master bedroom has incredible beach views and private access to the beach-facing balcony. Complete with a king bed, walk-in closet, and private ensuite bathroom, the master bedroom was designed with relaxation in mind. The master bathroom features a jetted tub, walk-in shower, and granite double vanity. The guest bedroom has two full beds, a TV, and private access to the beach-facing balcony. Just steps from both the guest bedroom and living area is a full bathroom with a walk-in shower.

Very nice, great vacation location

Very upscale community; clean, family oriented; great location to local activities; if any negatives at all, master suite bed was not comfortable ( some people may prefer extremely firm mattress); we would definitely stay at Silver Shells again!!!

My original review included a comment on the price of the condo but apparently that is not permitted, so I had to omit the statement. Nice property. Our condo was in the St Lucia building, which is in the back of the property. The condo itself was very clean and offered plenty of space for us (Mom, Dad and three children 13,10 and 6) We had our water shut off twice during our stay due to the water sensors. Both times I called the front desk and the problem was fixed within 1/2 an hour which was fantastic. The beach was beautiful but very crowded. Beach service was nice but there was two to three rows of chairs and umbrellas blocking the views of the water. The complex pool was amazing and the kids loved it. The area outside the complex was crazy busy due to road construction. We learned the restaurants in the area do not accept reservations so you have to go out early (4:30-5:00) and still wait in line. Most of the restaurants are expensive but good quality. Rented a boat and spent the day at Crab Island, which I highly recommend. We usually go to Ann Maria Island (AMI) for vacations. I figured we spent more than double what we usually spend in AMI for about the same accommodations. Although there is more to do in Destin I’m not sure the added expense is worth it.

This is a very nice condo with ocean view. It’s conveniently located and professionally managed. The condo is spacious and clean. There are supplies such as soap, laundry detergent and dish wast detergent to get you started. If u stay for 3 nights, you may need to get your own supplies. The beach is a 5 minutes short walk within the gated community. The beach service (umbrella and chairs) are complimentary, which is a plus. The pool is huge and very family friendly. Check in/out is very convenient. The only criticism is the carpet/rug and furnitures are a bit dated/worn out. Overall, it’s a very nice property. Will definitely consider to stay there again.
