The house and property were exactly what we were looking for! Plenty of space so we never felt crowded, lake front beach area was perfect for the little ones to play. Alex was readily available for any questions we had. We would definitely stay here again!!
Great space and perfect spot on a nice calm lake. Water trampoline and paddle boards were a huge hit with the kids. Plenty of towels and supplies. The floors seemed a little dirty, leftover pet hair from before us, but we found a broom in the garage. Great vacation!

Thanks for staying with us! You are welcome ack anytime. We apologize for the floors and have addressed this with our cleaners.
We came to New England from Atlanta for the week and enjoyed the fall foliage and lake views. The property was just as described, extremely comfortable, and well appointed. Alex was an excellent and communicative host! We especially enjoyed the restaurant recommendations in nearby Wolfeboro. We would definitely stay here again.
The house was immaculate and well stocked
With everything from kitchen, beach towels and bathroom supplies. We all had fun with the variety of water sports equipment. Alex responded to all questions in a timely manner and was very friendly. We rented a boat close by for a few days for skiing and tubing. The screened on porch was a nice place to relax in the shade during the day or quiet nights in the evening. Plenty of parking for guests and child/dog friendly. We felt at home and would love to stay there again.
A pleasant week at a lovely home in a beautiful place - just a few minor snags.
The house is spacious and on the waterfront. There was room for all. Our stay was very pleasant. The few snags included 1) The propane barbecue was non-functional, despite there being a fresh tank provided - we think it may have a problem with it not being cleaned. The owner provided online instantaneous support, but there was nothing he could do. The result: unfortunately we arrived with a large quantity of food to grill we couldn't grill.
House was great and location was amazing. Neighbors were all so friendly and helpful. Hosts were great whenever we contacted them. We rented a jet ski and did tubing with the kids.
Thank you to Alex and family for a great vacation week in their beautiful waterfront home! Perfect accommodations for our family of 5. We enjoyed beautiful lake views, daily kayaking, fishing, and playing well-stocked board games at night. Nearby Mt. Major and Castle in the Clouds provided excellent hiking trails. Alex was quick to respond to any questions. Great hospitality - we would definitely come again!
What a great vacation spot!!!! House was clean and roomy, great for a family vacation. Owners equipped the house with everything you need during your stay, including kayaks and paddle boards. Short drive into town for shopping and dining. Can’t wait for a return visit.

Excellent location on the lake
Overall, this was a really nice property to stay at. It’s located on a quiet cove and faces east, which gives you the majority of your good sun in the morning and early afternoon. It’s got a nice beach if you have small kids, and an excellent fishing area right off the dock where a lot of largemouth bass were hanging out. The house itself was very nice, with plenty of beds and air conditioning through most of the house for those hot nights. There are plenty of towels for showers and everything was generally clean and well maintained. The owner is very responsive as well. I would definitely recommend this house.

This owner knows what a renters vacation means.
A beautiful setting and access to the entire region. We rented a boat that fit under the bridge and that gave us the access. Even if we didn't our time at the Basin and hanging at the house was spectacular. You can't ask for a more tranquil setting. The house was better than the pictures and it lent itself to a great family gathering. All in all the absolute best vacation home we've rented and we have rented for 16 years for a week each year for everyone to be together. It was a unanimous decision by the entire family to repeat this location.

About the host
Hosted by Alex Perry
I am from the Boson area and live in the city. I spend most of my summers between the lake and Cape Cod. My one rule, always treat a home like it is your own!
Why they chose this property
Lakefront family resort home that has plenty of space for everyone to enjoy the view between its 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. The house can comfortably sleep 10. Enjoy both our porches - one that has a beautiful view of the lake and the other that is screened in! Your guests will be able to spread out amongst the 2 common living spaces with plenty of couches for seating, a full working kitchen, and a outdoor grill with patio set. Everyone can pull up a beach chair directly to the water’s edge or cozy up to the waterside firepit.
What makes this property unique
Feel free to use all of our lake toys including the kayaks, paddle boards, rafts, and fishing rods. While we do not allow access to our family boat, feel free to jump from the dock or invite your friends from across the lake to pull up for lunch!
Quiet, family neighborhood that is about a 10 minute drive to Wolfeboro and only 8 minutes from one of the best local spots, Wolfes' tavern. The home is located on the main lake but is situated in a private bay which makes it feel secluded and serene.
