OCEANFRONT Salvo - Dory Rd. The majestic Atlantic Ocean is your backyard playground at CASA MARE. On the second level enjoy the spectacular ocean views or relax in the evenings with millions of stars as a backdrop. Guests at CASA MARE love the huge, sparkling pool with spacious decking and seating, including poolside dining table with umbrella, relaxing hot tub, and beautiful lighting for enchanting night swims. Two separate outdoor showers and dressing areas are close at hand. This home has everything you could want or need for a relaxing, oceanfront vacation. This large, private lot has ample parking for large vehicles too. Inside the home, the chef in the family will appreciate the well-appointed "cook's kitchen". Come and fall in love with CASA MARE, your home by the sea.

Great home and excellent realtor.

I highly recommend Surf and Sound realty in Salvo NC. We have rented beach homes up and down the coast for years, but the service and kindness we received was far above our expectations and we will definitely return.

Cute little beachfront home

The home was in an amazing location! Beach was private and the “shipwreck” was a bonus! The home is perfect for a smaller gathering or a family of 4-6!

Perfect location for our family. The home was just right for what we needed. The beach is a short walk (just watch out for cacti till you get to the sand). The view from the top floor is unbeatable, as we got to watch dolphins jump and sailboats go by while we sipped our coffee and had breakfast at the table. The house does need some updating, and there were some stains on the ceiling in the kitchen, but it was everything we needed to enjoy time together.

Perfect getaway

We needed some family time where we had no other obligations and could just enjoy the ocean, the pool and each other. Also get the whole key lime pie from Alex shrimp shack. Worth it.

Would stay again but...

Pros: good location, nice lay out, worked well for our family, reasonably priced Cons: “New” mattresses in two bedrooms left something to be desired (especially the king), put in a maintenance request for the dishwasher on Monday but it wasn’t fixed until Friday (it was still usable), door on second floor difficult to get in Despite these things, we would stay here again if we wanted to be in this area.

Awesome Visit

We really enjoyed this house. It has the best pool as far as we could see - it was very private and in the sun the entire day! The ocean view was also beautiful from the deck. The only issue we had was with the upstairs vacuum not working very well, but there is a second vacuum downstairs that worked fine. This house was a great size for 2 families.
