Beautifully updated. Convenient central Boise location

Beautiful, newly remodeled in great neighborhood. Ultra-modern vibe with hardwood floors in living area, new tile in the kitchen, granite countertops, 52-inch wall-mounted TV, modern gas range, dishwasher, off-street parking, just steps from large park with playground, 10 minutes to everything: downtown, fairgrounds, greenbelt, movies, great dining, two malls, 5 minutes to St. Alphonsus Hospital, only 2 minutes to the grocery store. Great for families, couples, and people coming to Boise for business or fun.

You'll be in a classy, secluded neighborhood in the middle of the city. It's basically an extended culdesac with no through traffic. There's a very nice park about thirty steps down a little path right next to the yard. And there's a stunning view of the foothills on your way in. Take a couple of folding chairs, a bottle of wine and marvel at the view.

Excellent communication, nice touch with a box of muffins which by the way was delicious! left on the counter for us. Everything was better than expected and local to all amenities. The home feels homey and clean, washer and dryer was large enough for laundry and had shampoo/conditioner and towels. The beds were comfortable. House temperature was perfect! The neighborhood was nice and quiet.Highly recommend and I would definitely come back if I ever need to come back.

We have now stayed at this property four times. There are many reasons why we keep coming back: it’s a very generous amount of space for the money, so very well appointed, very clean and comfortable, modern appliances, two baths and two bedrooms, comfortable furniture, convenient to where we like to go while we’re in Boise, indoor parking, the owners live next door, and it’s located in a super quiet neighborhood. We try to visit Boise at least once every year and always look at this property first to see if it’s available.

The house was in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood. The yard was so well taken care of, with gorgeous flowers. It was easy to find and conveniently located. The kitchen was well supplied and made making dinner each night easy. With a teenager, it was really nice to have a second bathroom for her, and one for us. She loved the decor in her room. We had games to play, and we were greeted with some tasty muffins. We would definitely stay here again if we were in the Boise area.

This is Boise living. The place is tucked into a quiet, dead-end neighborhood. We rented it as an extra bed or two since it is a couple of blocks from our own home. It gave us peace of mind to have it available for graduation weekend just in case we needed it for family. We have toured the property. It is perfect down to the last detail. We will definitely rent again.

Hi, My husband and I are retired. Actually, he's retired. He was an advertising copywriter and creative director and I owned my own women's clothing store in Boise. We love to read. I like mysteries, especially cozy mysteries. My husband likes thrillers and histories. We hope you enjoy your stay.

Why they chose this property

We bought this home because we saw the potential in it. It was built in 1972 by a prominent local auto dealer for his mother and her caretaker. Mom lived in one townhouse, the caretaker in the other one. It was very well built, but had not been updated in 45 years. So, we updated both sides, giving it a warm, African motif, which most guests seem to like.


What makes this property unique

We also love the neighborhood. It's upscale without being snooty about it with a stunning view of Boise's foothills on the way in. There's also no through traffic. So it's quiet. There's a nice neighborhood park just a few steps from the east boundary of our property with a playground, and tennis courts. PLEASE NOTE: This is a non-smoking residence. Please respect our home and our other guests by not smoking.
