Overall great place for family vacation, of course location can’t be beat. Only issues where the kitchen amenities, pops and pans are way past there use, the knives as well ..We will come back soon!

Great getaway

What a great place! The house was very clean and comfortable. The pool was very refreshing and the hot tub was great. The location of the house couldn’t be beat - a quick walk right to the lake and downtown.

Beautiful house inside and out. Very spacious! Loved being here with my family of 10. It's 10 minutes to walk to the main strip of town and 5 minutes to a lake access. We enjoyed the beautiful scenery and the quiet neighborhood.

Great location, pool was a fun bonus. Walk to the river walk, very fun with grandkids. We checked-in on a Thursday and the garbage was accidentally missed to be taken out on Wednesday so it was full when we arrived.

We loved the house and the location, so nice to be able to walk to town and the lake! The pool was a little dirty when we arrived but once the mgmt company was advised it was cleaned that day. We would absolutely book this again!!

Great house

Besides toaster not working, 2 rooms on main floor and downstairs rooms being FREEZING regardless of the temp in the house our group had a great time. Hot tub was perfect 👌🏼

Hi Sidney, Our apologies for having a non-working toaster and the downstairs cold. We do have a 24/7 call line for urgent matters and we could of perhaps helped. We will get a new toaster upon your review comment and check the temp. It is always difficult to regulate multi-level homes with a dual system thermostat. When turning up heat the other floors tend to get too warm. Thanks for staying with us!

Beautiful house

House is very clean, equipped with everything you need for your stay. Walking distance to town center, lake and parks. Plenty room for a big family. The only negative part is that rooms don't have closets, only dressers, and AC works in some rooms pretty well but others not. The shower heads had little water coming out of it. But, overall, we enjoyed our stay, especially pool area.

Amazing property with perfect location!

Loved our stay at a Stone’s Throw. It was so close to the lake but we spent most of the time enjoying the pool and hot tub. Our kids spent hours swimming-the pool and yard was bigger than expected. Walkable to restaurants and coffee, but a quiet neighborhood. With the summer heat the rooms cooled unevenly but it wasn’t a deal breaker. Great kitchen and eating areas and the game room was perfect. I wish they provided us beach towels-was a pain to have to bring ours, launder them, and bring back home. We also had to buy more toilet paper during our stay which would have been nice to have more provided. Minor complaints, we would definitely be back.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It was the cutest house! So cozy, comfortable, and felt like home- yet was so spacious for all us girls to have time to ourselves. The BEST location so we could walk to town if we wanted! We will 100% book again, and can’t wait until next year when we can do another snowy weekend girls trip. The rental company was beyond helpful with any questions & even had the fire going for us when we arrived! Our only complaint was the light out front was out- so that wasn’t fun coming home to a dark house.

Gorgeous peaceful getaway

Everything was great! The property and views of the lake are just as beautiful in person, and the location is quiet and peaceful. It is also easy walking distance into town and to the waterfront park. The home itself was very clean, well maintained, and well equipped with lots of towels and all of the kitchen amenities needed to cook full meals. Even though our trip was scheduled for early May, the jacuzzi and (heated!) pool were ready for us. Although the back yard/pool area is fenced in, it was less private than expected so bathing suits/coverups were necessary at all times. The only issue we had was with internet connectivity on our first day. However, we called and they sent someone out to fix the issue within an hour. We were very impressed with the speed of the response. Overall, we had a lovely stay and wished we could stay longer!

Summer Vacation in Chelan

We recently stayed at 'A Stone's Throw' and thoroughly enjoyed the property. We were a group of two families - 4 adults and 4 kids ages 12(3x) and 14. The sleeping arrangements worked great, the house was very clean, and even though it looked small from the front was quite roomy and comfortable. When we were at the house, we were in the kitchen/family area and/or outside in the backyard. The backyard is great - the deck is nice with an controllable awning for shade in the afternoon and the pool area was great for the kids. There's a deep end and a shallow end and they spend hours in the pool. The kitchen was well equipped - often times you stay at rentals and you get 1 frying pan, a set of dull knifes, and four plates. This place had all of utensils and pots and pans needed which was great, as we cooked most of our meals. Also, one super convenient thing about the property is the access to the lake. It's literally a two minute walk down to the lake and there are steps that lead right into the water. We could haul are paddleboards down and hop right in, plus also the kids brought their floaties down a couple of times to swim around. It's also super close to town and all of the amenities/shops that come with it, so that was also nice.

Family getaway

Very nice place to spend a family vacation. Loved the location. Couple of Suggestions - the front bedroom has a long dresser in front of the Vent where the AC comes out - so it's very warm- owners may want to review a different set up to allow better ventilation. A mini refrigerator in the patio area for canned beverages would be nice.

Location is perfect for walking into town and along the lake trail!

The house is the perfect walking distance into town to get ice cream and to shop. There was plenty of room for the eight of us and the kitchen is a great layout for cooking and serving a house full of people. We were really grateful that the pool was open even though it wasn’t very warm out yet My only complaint was that VRBO said check in was 4, and Windermere said 5. We drove into town from the Westside, which is unpredictable, so we ended up sitting on the front lawn while we waited for the electric lock to respond to our personal code.

Nothing could have been better for our group!! House had everything we needed and the space was beautiful!! Do clean! The only thing is we needed to run to the store because we ran out of toilet paper.

A Stone's throw July 14-19

House and Pool was nice - a few things that were disappointing: 1) Ice maker did not work - had to find Ice in town, and most places were out. 2) Shower rod in downstairs bath needs to be looked at - when 'gently pulling back curtin, the rod completely came off wall - and my husband had to fix. 3) deck outside - many of the screws were sticking up from the deck - and my husband had to fix them - so the grandchildren would not stub / or injury there feet. 4) Recommend getting a smaller dresser in the downstairs queen bedroom that is street side - so the A/C vent is not blocked anymore - which as of now is - so we had to pull away from the wall to cool down the room. 5) there was no shade over the picnic table area outside as shown in the photo's. We had brought our own pop up tent which thankfully helped with the hottest part of the afternoon.

A wonderful home for a family vacation. The place was super clean and open floor plan layout was great! Hot tub and pool looked bigger on “site” photos. The air conditioning was “spotty” in 2 bedrooms and we could not adjust it for comfort( higher, too cold).It would have been helpful to have instructions for washer/dryer, oven and dishwasher. Inaccurate or incomplete information about gardeners coming and garbage/ recycle day. Location is perfect to go to town, go to the lake and rentals of boats/jet skis. It is near a main road so traffic can be noisy at times. So unfortunate for us to end our week without a clean pool! Response from management was not appropriate for how much the rent is/ day!
