About this property
Lake Chelan resort: remodeled 4 main suites + bunk room near beach, pool
The Pines is a large, comfortable home that is newly remodeled and features 6 bathrooms and 5 bedrooms, four with master beds and a private bath in each room so no one has to fight about who gets the best room . There is a 12 person limit for cleaning-call for exceptions. Three rooms also have a private outdoor sitting area. There is a bonus bunk/game room (sleeps 6) that provides a wonderful space ( includes a comfy double bed) for guests to spread out and play foosball or watch a movie. We are very well stocked in the kitchen including a Keurig. The Pines also has a hot tub, cleaned every Thursday, and private patio with lots of seating surrounded by pristine trees and a view from the deck of Lake Chelan. The yard is huge for fun activities and a barbecue for a cook outdoors. Out the back door, a recreational trail leads you to one of the resort pools and you are only 100 steps to the beach. Wapato Point has pickleball and tennis courts, boat rentals, a mini golf course, several outdoor pools, an indoor pool, a fishing pond, playground, two large beaches, and is next to a wineries and several restaurants. Of course, exclusive high speed is available. Summer rentals are one week only Friday to Friday.
PLEASE NOTE: No pet policy throughout Wapato Point . Our hot tub service is on Thursday. Also, we store the lawn furniture in the garage from October until May. If it is very windy, rainy or snowy there will be debris on the deck from the trees . Lawn service blows off the deck weekly, and we have a blower for the daily. If you get exceptional weather on your visit in the spring, you are welcome to bring up the furniture if you want to bring it back at the end, but please know the deck will look like decks do in the winter and early spring with extreme weather. The summer air quality may be smokey-do not rent in summer if you have asthma. Winters have snow on the pass, so be sure you have snow tires or are willing to use chains if you want to rent at that time . There are many off-seasonfun things to do.

Boating and Water Sports - With 55 miles of glacier-fed, beautiful blue water, there is no reason not to get out on Lake Chelan and play. The lower portion of Lake Chelan, called the Wapato Basin, is a water sports haven. Here you can enjoy jet skiing, water skiing, knee boarding, wakeboarding, tubing, and zipping through the water on personal watercraft. Lucerne Basin, in the upper portion of Lake Chelan, is the quieter part of the lake where the depths can reach 1,500 feet. This area is perfect for kayaking, canoeing, stand up paddle boarding, and exploring the wildlife and untouched shoreline of Lucerne Basin. This upper portion also serves as a gateway to the 15 spectacular boat-in campgrounds provided by the Forest Service and the National Park Service, as well as to the picturesque community of Stehekin at the head of the lake. Sailing on Lake Chelan is also an incredibly popular summer activity, and there are opportunities to rent sailboats of all sizes and types on Lake Chelan.
Fishing - Fishing on Lake Chelan promises to be a memorable day spent on crystal clear waters in the sunshine. Surrounded by stunning scenery, anglers can fish for a variety of trout, salmon, and bass on Lake Chelan and other nearby bodies of water. The Lake Chelan area has several fishing outfitters that will provide a guided day on the water, or row boat and fishing gear rentals for those that want to fish on their own.
Hiking - The Lake Chelan Valley offers a variety of beautiful hiking trails, from mile-long loops, to more strenuous mountain hikes and multi-day hiking trips. The Echo Ridge Trail System is a popular hiking area near Lake Chelan. With 25 miles of intertwining trails, hikers of all ages will find everything from wide-open trails to single track trails higher up. Magnificent views abound, from birds eye vistas of Lake Chelan, to expansive views of the Stewart Range, the Okanogan Highlands, and the Columbia Plateau. These trails are only open to hikers, mountain bikers, and horses, and most are suitable for children. For the adventurous, hiking trails that are a bit more strenuous can be found in the upper regions of Lake Chelan and the surrounding Cascades.
Mountain Biking - Lake Chelan offers numerous mountain bike trails suitable for all ages and skill levels. Visitors and locals alike enjoy trails ranging from gentle to extreme around the Lake Chelan Basin and drainage. There are a few places in the area that rent Nordic skis, so leave your gear at home and explore the un-crowded trails.
Snowmobiling - Snowmobiling is an incredibly popular winter activity at Lake Chelan, and with 170 miles of well-marked and groomed trails, it’s no wonder why. About the host
Hosted by Lisa Kragerud

Welcome to our wonderful vacation home where you are sure to make many wonderful memories, as we have. My husband and I both grew up in the Northwest and have three wonderful married children, and three grandchildren. I am a teacher and my husband owns a flooring store. We hope you have a fabulous vacation and will plan to come back every year.
Why they chose this property
This is a great house for 3-4 families to split the cost of, or for a girls or guys weekend . Because there are 4 master suites with their own bathrooms, everyone has the privacy they need to enjoy their vacation, and the huge bunk room gives a place for the kids to hang out separately from the adults. We are just steps from the lake, the main activities and a pool, but not so close that it's noisy or dangerous for young children. Bring your extended family or a yearly group.
What makes this property unique
Beautiful Pine Trees make for shade in the backyard- unique and wonderful when the temperatures get too high.
Fooseball table in the kids room make for a really fun time. Hot tub.
