Welcome to Cedar Creek Lodge, this 5000 square foot waterfront timberframe style home is located in a cove off Cedar Creek in Deerfield Resort on Norris Lake. The 4 bedroom, 4.5 bath, 2 level home sleeps up to 12.

The home is located within a 5 minute boat ride to Deerfield cove marina and Tiki bar, Shanghai, Sugar Hollow and the famous jumping bridge.

Located in a quiet cove on over an acre, the woods on one side of the property offers privacy and a natural setting. The large deck overlooking the lake provides the perfect place for enjoying your morning coffee and the nature all around. Being waterfront in a cove, makes it a safe and relaxing place to spend time on the water. The cove is perfect for swimming, kayaking, paddle boarding, floating and fishing. A perfect gathering spot for family and friends.


The main level includes a large great room with a 75 inch TV, surround sound, stone fireplace, hardwood floors and a wall of windows overlooking the lake. The well stocked kitchen features all stainless steel appliances with professional gas cooktop, double convection ovens, 2 microwaves, 2 dishwashers, granite countertops, stone fireplace and an LCD TV. A gas grill is located on the deck outside of the kitchen for your convenience. The master suite features a king size bed, stone gas fireplace, sliding glass door to upper deck, large walk in shower, jacuzzi tub and double sinks. A second bedroom with king bed and adjacent full bath is also located on the main level.

The lower level features a large family room with a 50 inch plasma TV with DVD, pool table, 2nd flat screen TV with surround sound, separate TV with Play station 2 and DVD, stone gas fireplace, queen sleeper sofa, wet bar with full size refrigerator, ice maker and dry sauna with shower. The second master has a king bed, sliding glass door to the lower deck and jacuzzi tub. The 4th bedroom has 2 queen beds with adjacent full bath. A privacy door is available to close the bedroom and bath off from the family room.

The outside features 3,000 sq. ft of deck, covered dock, large patio area with sunbed and huge fire pit.

The home also has wi-fi internet and unlimited local and long distance calls.

Beautiful Lake House

The house was beautiful and overlooked the lake. The views were stunning! It had a dock which we were able to rent a boat and the lagoon was great for swimming! It was perfect for our family. We all thoroughly enjoyed our vacation from start to finish. The owner Sherri and property manager Lori were very communicative. Thank you for a fabulous week!!

Great House!

This was our first trip to Norris Lake and we loved it! The house was VERY clean, the kitchen was well stocked with everything you would need, and the entertainment/gathering areas were spacious. The location was great and the views were amazing. Definitely a place that I would like to visit again.

Family Fun

The perfect place!

This house is gorgeous. It was very spacious and had everything you would need to cook and be comfortable. All the extras that were provided were much appreciated. Wonderful house! Fully Stocked Kitchen!

This house is beautiful! The check in/check out process was very easy. The house was very clean upon our arrival. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to cook and then some! The two dishwashers was a great bonus! Both decks were great for evening sunset gazing, and the dock was wonderful!

Party of 12

Our party of 12 family members enjoyed our week on the lake making memories. This was our 13th year of coming to Norris lake and our first time at this house. The kitchen was awesome with double ovens and double dishwashers. Lots of space for us all to gather for games and puzzles.

Deerfield Lodge

The house was super large with plenty amenities! The view was amazing & we saw lots of deer! We loved all the ice machines, the fridge space & 2 dishwashers. It was super nice they provided Softsoap dispensers in every bathroom & both kitchen sinks, 2 rolls of toilet paper & 2 rolls of paper towels. We did need Cascade for the dishwasher and our own bath towels. A kitchen dishcloth would have been helpful. We didn't use the firepit because one walk up the steep hill per day was enough for us! Lol!

Beautiful home and great location

The home was beautiful and plenty of room for 12 adults. Great communication with the owner and they were there waiting for us to arrive to show us around. Only downfall is the couch downstairs shouldn’t be listed as a queen bed. You can’t sleep on it. We had an air mattress and plenty of room to set it up downstairs. Other than that…awesome time was had by all.

Family vacation

The house is exactly as described and pictured. We really enjoyed our week at Norris lake! The few things that I would improve for this house would be the check in process and the deck. We were supposed to be met at the house by Sheri's assistant/cleaning lady. We were instructed to text Lori before our arrival so she could meet us. I followed the instructions we were given and Lori did not meet us or respond to my messages. We happened to find a key or we would have been standing outside for hours. The deck is also old and a bit dangerous, the railings are lose. Otherwise the house was beautiful and well maintained. We had a wonderful week! Thank you for hosting us Sheri!

Spring Escape

The house is very spacious and comfortable with a wonderful view. The living and dining room has an outdoor indoor feel since all the walls are windows. You can spend hours sitting enjoying a glass of wine and reading a book with no one to disturb you except the occasional bird or squirrel. We saw many deer, birds and even a bald eagle! The expansive deck area allowed all of us to enjoy the outdoors both in the morning and evening together. At night each bedroom has access to its own bathroom so we had plenty of privacy as well. We spent our days kayaking and playing golf. After dinner we spent time around the fire pit looking at the abundance of brilliant stars. With the beautiful scenery and peacefulness it was just what we needed. We are planning to return later in the summer!

Very nice house with lots of room, but sort of ended there. Too many little things wrong. ice maker on lower level didn't work. Main TV on first floor was bad (no reds), pieces missing from the railings on the decks making it dangerous for small children. First time we used Jacuzzi it stuck in the on position and almost flooded lower level. Fortunately we were able to turn off at circuit breaker to get it to stop and saved their house. Then they deducted $ 350 from our deposit to fix it! We didn't break the switch. Should be normal maintenance. Boat dock is horrible! No power, steel bolts sticking out that hold up roof so they will gouge the side of your boat. No padding, wood railings etc. Could be a really great place but don't think the owners ever go there and depend on local maintenance people and then charge their clients for anything that breaks. Too many nice houses to choose from on Norris to put up with these things and at these prices.

Joe, Sorry to hear you were not happy with your stay at our Norris Lake home. We checked with housekeeping and neither one of us had received a complaint during your stay. Had we known you were not happy, we could have helped make your visit much better by addressing your needs. The ice maker is turned off between reservations to ensure there is fresh ice for the next guests. We have not received any previous complaints regarding the TV, it is not hi definition, thank you for bringing it to our attention so it can be replaced. The Jacuzzi tub and jets are cleaned, cycled and sanitized after each rental. This is routine maintenance. Replacing the air switch and jet pump because of excessive water down the controls is not (water level was above the control panel). The Jacuzzi functioning in the “on” position would pose no threat to flooding the house, however leaving the water running would. Replacement of the components required that the grout and tile be removed from the tub surrounding and then replaced. The seat hinges were also broken on the toilet and had to be replaced. Per our corresponding e mails prior to your stay, you knew the dock did not have power. We are not comfortable having electrical current near or at the dock with children splashing and/or swimming and we have elected not to install it there. The intent is to run electric to the fire pit area and have it available there. The dock does have white rub rails installed all the way around and inside the slip. We always recommend guests bring fenders to protect watercraft no matter where they stay. The water can be rough on busy weekends especially on the main lake. We wish we could personally greet each and every guest that stays with us however, our schedules do not enable us to at this time. We do provide a local contact to meet you, check you in and address any issues you may have during your stay promptly. We try to upgrade and improve every year, Thank you for bringing these issues to our attention.

Great getaway

The home was beautiful 4 bedrooms all with their own bath! No stairs to the lake which is very nice but still a workout! Highly recommend the online grocery order, property manager picked up and delivered….it’s quite the drive to any thing close. A very relaxing getaway

Wonderful Place for Family Time

The house is beautiful and nicely located on the lake. It was great having three rooms with king beds for the adults, and there was plenty of room for all to spread out if necessary. The young adults loved the basement. The fire pit and sauna were bonuses. It was a lovely place to meet-up with family.

Great House, Fabulous Lake

We have never been to this lake before and were very happy with the clean water. It was also nice to have a boat dock for renting a boat. The roads were a little more challenging then expected and stores also a distance away. We would definitely go back and this time be a little more prepared for the location. We did not expect to bring towels so that was a surprise at the packing stage only because lack of space. The mattresses were very comfortable, it was nice also to have a bathroom for every bedroom.

Phenomenal House with an amazing View

We had a wonderful week and shared great family time with three generations in a fantastic house. The coffee on the deck over the lake and watching the wildlife was a great start to most of the mornings. Great place to learn to kayak and paddle board because the water was calm in the cove. We were very pleased with the home and its location overlooking the lake. The patio and the huge fire pit at the water is awesome, we spent several evenings there. We would recommend it for a group or family without hesitation.
