Looking for a vacation spot that works for everyone—from the youngest kids to the grandparents? Look no further!

Peaceful Waters is a fully renovated handicap accessible home, thoughtfully designed with families in mind. The spacious, fully fenced yard is a safe haven for the little ones and includes a fenced-in heated pool, a 7-seater hot tub, and a kid's play area. Gather around the fire pit for S’mores, or enjoy outdoor cooked meals on the large deck complete with ample seating and BBQ grills. There is also a sand volleyball court and basketball court for the sports lovers!

The home is fully stocked with cozy beds, soft linens, and premium pillows to ensure a restful night’s sleep. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need to prepare family meals, from pots and pans to appliances and utensils, plus a coffee bar for coffee lovers! Featuring a 55" UHD TV on both levels, a Nintendo Wii, board games, poker supplies, and all the extras you will need for a great stay. We provide Pack-N-Plays and indoor and outdoor toys for families with little ones, and we welcome certain pets to join in the fun.

Peaceful Waters is not decorated or stocked like your typical vacation rental but is prepped as if you are staying at a friend's house. Your home away from home ~

Everything was great. We enjoyed ourselves greatly. I only thing I wish was the deck from inside could have been handicap accessible for my mom to enjoy watching everyone play outside or have dinner outside with us. She still had a blast and we were grateful to find the indoor handicap accessible as sometimes it’s hard to find for family vacations.

Many guests prefer to set it up near the master bedroom, which provides convenient access to both the deck and the master bath. Normally, if we know in advance that a guest will need it, we’re happy to have it ready before arrival. We do wish you had reached out during your stay, as we would have gladly set it up right away. Excellent for large groups, including ours, which had 1-7 year olds. It really feels like it’s someone’s home, where they have thought out the details of amenities that would really help out large groups. Small things like having a ton of dishes, utensils, glasses so that we can eat dinner even though the lunch dishes are still running. The outdoor space is amazing: we swam and hot tubbed and built a fire every day. Even though we are in a residential neighborhood, it feels so private and quiet. And the manager Fawna is attentive and responsive.

Was here for a great weekend with great people. Despite the pool being closed for the fall and winter the hot tub and deck were great. Highly recommend for large groups.

Property had something for every age group from small children to adults. Close to Grand Rapids where we visited both the Grand Rapids Public Museum and the Frederick Meijer Gardens. Fawna, the property manager was very responsive to our questions.

wonderful family vacation

Property was great for our family of 9 adults and 7 children. Pool, backyard, games, toys and books were wonderful for the kids. Plenty of activities for the family in the area. Robb and John were great as there was a power outage due to a storm when we arrived, and they worked with us to make our stay a success

Great family vacation home!

We thoroughly enjoyed a week here with family ranging from 1 to 74! There was something for everyone to do and plenty of room for all. The home was clean and very well cared for and stocked with essentials. The pool was our favorite place to be. Any questions I had were quickly answered by Fawna. Everything you want for a fun family vacation!

We splashed around in a heated pool. We relaxed in the jacuzzi. We had some competitive basketball and volleyball games. We enjoyed the spacious deck, and made smores in the fire pit. Everything we could want to do outdoors. Indoors is a little more basic. There are small maintenance details a little on the shoddier side, like a shower head that wouldn't work and a few issues trying to figure out the thermostats (2). But nothing egregious. Overall it was great time and we enjoyed ourselves.

Great Space for Our Group

Overall, great space everywhere for our group. It was kind of tough finding rentals that had more than one bathroom for whatever reason, so I figured I'd note it here. The rooms were large and the deck outside was perfect for our group of ten. Location was easy to get to and easy to get out to places in Grand Rapids.

I, Robb, am a financial adviser helping clients find the most efficient way to pay the least amount for college and maximize cash flow during retirement. Over four years ago, I moved to Roatan, Honduras, an island in the Caribbean. When I'm not assisting clients, I indulge in my passions for fishing, scuba diving, and traveling while working remotely.
