Greg is an exceptional host. I have never seen such an attention to detail. He went the extra mile to ensure we had everything we needed, and more! The place is also fantastic and very clean. Quiet and close to everything. And the view on the lake is amazing! I strongly recommend!!

This was truly one of the best stays my family has had in quite a while, all thanks to Frances and Gregory’s gorgeous property and warm hospitality. My wife and I have stayed in countless cottages in recent years with COVID restricting our travels abroad and this was probably the best one so far. We loved it! No doubt we’ll be back in the near future :)

Another great stay..good location

We stayed for 3 weeks. Kitchen was fully stocked with hardware and spices and some condiments. The gym is first class and there are plenty of areas to separate and enjoy your own shows in the evening. Very well insulated and comfortable. The hosts are great folks!

Lovely stay on lake.

The host, Frances met us on arrival and gave us a tour of the cottage and property. Very clean and well furnished. Frances was very quick to respond when we had difficulty with the tv. Based on her suggestions, were able to rectify things immediately.

A very comfortable quite property

The host is very nice and accommodating. The kitchen has all of the essentials and the host is keeping some staples left behind like spices, condiments and butter sticks etc. unlike some hosts feel the need to clear the kitchen to bare bones. We will be back!

Perfect cottage in Quebec

This is a very nice property with perfect location. The house is very pretty, it has everything you need for the vacation. The kitchen is very well equipped, everything is clean, it really exceeded our expectations. There are many outdoor areas where you can relax: near the house, at the water or in-between. We absolutely loved the kayaks, the canoe and the paddle boat. Many things to do near by: tree top trekking, Waterfalls, cascades etc. We had very friendly hosts. We highly recommend this place.

Our family had an amazing and relaxing week

The entire family unanimously described this cottage/home as amazing! The view is beautiful! There is a lovely deck at the house, two fire pits, kayaks, a paddle boat and a nice dock. Every level has Muskoka chairs so you don’t have to transport them. You can dive off the dock and the kids had a blast swimming!! There is a short hike down to the water but it is beautifully pathed and fairly easy. The house is beautiful and really clean with everything needed! Frances and Greg were lovely to deal with. We would highly recommend this place!!

Toujours l'attention à l'arrivée, Frances s'assure que les vacanciers ne manquent de rien, ait des présents d'arrivée, rien ne manque, c'est la troisième locaation avec eux en quelques années d'écart, être au top n'est déjà pas simple et Frances et Gregory l'étaient (au top), s'y maintenir est encore plus difficile et là encore Frances et Gregory répôndent présent, toujours la même qualité de service, ce n'est pas une location qu'on fait, c'est une expérience complète et parfaite dans laquelle on entre! Un gros merci pour permettre un temps en famille excellent quelle que soit la météo

A notre arrivée Frances nous a accueilli pour une description de la maison et des commodités. Le réfrigérateur rempli et les autres attentions nous ont permis de prendre tranquillement possession des lieux, ce qui était super agréable (ne pas courir faire les courses) pour s'installer. Le reste de la maison était supérieur aux photos, ce qui est une première fois pour nous. Effet waouh garanti !L'équipement est plus que complet, rien de manque, de la vaisselle pour plusieurs repas, les produits nécessaires au quotidien, le linge de maison en abondance donc pas besoin de faire des machines à laver car il manque une serviette.Et puis l'environnement, encore waouh ! Nous étions sous et dans la neige. Magnifique vue sur le lac, la nature toute blanche autour de la superbe maison, nous avions la carte postale dont nous rêvions. A trois minutes à pied le restaurant pour un breakfast et/ou un gouter. Tous les magasins à moins de 10 minutes de voiture, et des magasins de qualité.Un immense merci pour nous avoir permis de vivre notre Noël au Canada, que ce soit avec la météo, mais surtout par l'accueil et les supers mégas prestations de Frances et Gregory et de leur maison. Bravo !

Nous avons loué le chalet de Frances et Grégory pour notre équipe sportive! L’accueil de Frances a été incroyable, elle nous avait préparé un tas de petites attentions! Le chalet est juste wouah! L’emplacement, la décoration, les équipements, et les lits… nous étions 8 et nous avons eu toute la place nécessaire sans nous marcher dessus.Nous retournerons sans doute la, l’année prochaine.

Frances nous a accueilli comme si elle nous avait deja rencontrer ….nous fait faire un tour de chalet qui est tres bien entretenue soigneusement. Beaucoup d’espace et les chambres tres confortable. Quelle belle fin de semaine . Je recommande ce beau chalet près de tous les service et tranquille, allez visiter Rawdon un village magnifique!

Probably our best rental so far. A dream for the family.

The property was exactly as described, and even cosier and better equipped than we had imagined. Beyond the attention and the talent that was shown in the house decoration, every time we thought about something we needed, it was there. Wonderful Experience

Firstly, a word about the hosts; Frances & Gregory are very welcoming, friendly, helpful and unintrusive! The cottage was immaculate and very well appointed. We immediately felt at home. The exterior is well designed in that it has many areas to chill as a group, couple or single! We took full advantage of the clean, quiet lake thanks to the kayaks, canoe, and pedal boat, which were all in great shape. A wonderful time was had by all! We would most certainly book this cottage again!

Nous avons été gâtés par l’accueil des propriétaires. La maison de plusieurs chambres avait plein de petits "plus" qui ont redu le séjour mémorable pour chacun de nous ( jeux pour les petits, quai sur le lac, embarcations et accessoires, internet et équipement télévisuel à la fine pointe. Salon extérieur, BBQ, deux bases pour feu de camp et bûches. Le village a tous les services, des sites touristiques intéressants, sans oublier le terrain de golf à 500 pieds de la maison. Séjour parfait, nous retournerons.

Rawdon Lake Cottage Getaway

Just returned recently from out Rawdon Lake cottage getaway. Frances and Gregory could not have been nicer and more attentive! The cottage is very true to the pictures and really well appointed with what you will need for a cottage getaway. The cottage is well maintained and very clean. Family had a lot of fun playing hide and go seek on the expansive grounds and using the kayaks+water paddle boat. Pretty Provincial Parks nearby. Thank you for a great stay!

Perfect Cottage & Setting for a relaxing week

We had an amazing week at Frances and Gregory's lovely cottage. The cottage is absolutely wonderful. Everything we needed was provided along with extras, which we didn't expect. Frances met us when we arrived to give us a tour of the cottage and the property and left us a delicious fresh loaf of bread from the local bakery along with some other goodies. The view from the balcony is beautiful and very peaceful. The town of Rawdon is just around the corner and had everything we needed including a wonderful bakery. We came for a peaceful, relaxing time away and that's what we had staying at Frances and Gregory's cottage. We highly recommend it.

Wonderful week in Rawdon

We spent a wonderful week in Rawdon, at Frances and Gregory's cottage. They were very welcoming. Frances took time to show us everything we needed to know inside and around the house. The cottage itself is brillantly restored, with a lot of personnal touches, and very well equipped. We had fun on the lake, using the provided kayaks and paddle boat. If we were picky, we would say that the internet was on the slow side and the trail to access the lake was steeper than expected, but we would still recommand that cottage and its owners anytime! Thanks again Frances and Gregory!

Une merveille!

Frances et Gregory sont des hôtes formidables, attentionnés et sympathiques. La maison est très bien située avec un grand quai privé sur le lac, un jardin avec plusieurs possibilités de se reposer, manger, faire du feu etc. Tout est très joliment décoré et tout dont on a besoin est sur place. Beautiful, clean and very relaxing

We really enjoyed our week at this house. The location is lovely. The lake is clean and quiet (no motor boats). We enjoyed the dock and kayaks and swam in the lake every day. The house is clean, comfortable and so relaxing. The hosts are very friendly and had great tips for activities in the area. We would love to go back.

Unforgettable Quebec stay

We thoroughly enjoy the renovation process and creating a new unique and inviting space. The difference between Toronto and Quebec is the abundance of outdoor space our homes offer; lots of trees, fresh air and a wonderful serene lake (one house has direct access) and plenty of outdoor summer & winter activities to do within moments from the home. We are so pleased with the results that it felt selfish to keep it all to ourselves. Lets share...
