Perfect spot for some R&R. The house was very clean and cozy with a woodburning fireplace and also had a very well equipped kitchen. House is located at the end of road, so very private. Loved the river right out front (teenage boys fished but didnt catch much) and there was a nice trail behind the house for a hike. So many deer!! Loved the game room downstairs perfect for our rainy day. Our stay exceeded our expectations and we would stay here again!
We needed a last minute getaway from Atlanta and this fit the bill perfectly! Inside was clean, comfortable and nicely furnished. Location offers privacy with enchanting views of the river.
Jess was a great host. This is a beautiful home and had everything we needed for a wonderful Thanksgiving week with family. We loved waking up in the morning to the wildlife drinking out of the river. Deer and bear with cubs. Wish we had more time, we will definitely be back.
We booked this place for the week of New Year’s and it turned out great. Beautiful house and property right on the water as advertised. We loved at how well the house was stocked with things you wouldn’t need in case you forgot to bring something, especially the kitchen area. The host was extremely easy to work with and very responsive when we needed something. We would definitely come back.
The host had detailed instructions and communicated well from the beginning. Beautiful cabin with pool table, hot tub, and perfect riverfront view. This was our 3rd stay at this cabin and I would come back again.
Was exactly what we were looking for to celebrate a birthday with family. Beautiful home and location. Appreciated all the prompt communications as well. Highly recommend for a peaceful stay on the river. Our two retrievers loved it as well
This is a beautiful home and like a high-end cabin. The owner was great and easy to work with. We had an incredible time on the river and in the hot tub and just enjoying family time.
We enjoyed our stay, beds were comfortable, easy access to river which would be great in the summer. There were tons of kitchen items, enough seating in living room and fun game room, laughed so hard with the ping pong! Entrance was a little hard for these old bones but doable when not carrying things in. Only suggestion I would have for the owners would be to have a space in a cabinet to place our food items. Thank you for sharing your home!
We had an amazing, relaxing time at River Rock. We have always stayed on creeks, and the river was a nice change. The house had everything we needed and then some. Kids loved the ping pong table. Communication from Jessica was great.

Liked: Cleanliness, location
It was our 40th anniversary and I thought the host would have done something extra for us. We would have liked to have Dish on when we got there. I guess we overlooked that part because other places we have stayed that was a given. Again, it was very relaxing and we did create some nice memories.

In response, I didn’t receive any request from you regarding unpausing the Dish. My listing & cabin booklet provided, both state to ask me to turn the dish on. All it requires of me is to call dish & unpause. Happy Anniversary, I’m not sure what kind of gift you expected? Thank you for your visit to River Rock Chalet.
Awesome location right on the river! Very relaxing listening to the water. House was beautiful and nicely furnished. Kitchen was very well appointed with everything you could need. We very much enjoyed our stay!
Perfect house for our family’s last minute getaway. Great views of the river and included everything we needed. The only negative was the large deposit required (almost 2x the rental fee) and the time to get that released, but this is more of a VRBO issue.
Great cizy cabin on the river. We highly recommend this cabin for families with kids. The river is perfect for kids. Also our evenings after the river always ended up at the jacuzzi. Get for cozy nights around the fire out. High speed internet for work at home family members.
Host: Jessica was very helpful & quick to reply. Brochure was accurate and helpful. Indoors: Tidy, plenty of space in all areas, beautiful artwork throughout, plenty of lighting, we cooked each night and kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, bowls, plates, utensils, etc. HVAC, washer/dryer, WiFi, glass cooktop, microwave, oven all worked very well. Jessica also un-paused the dish service for us (thank you!). Rec Center: Used the swim passes, all areas were clean, tidy and employees were very kind and helpful. We didn't really use the game room but was great location to take pictures of the wildlife and not spook the deer. Parking: Easily maneuvered and parked our 2 SUV's. Location: Really beautiful spot on the river and a creek runs beside the home. Wildlife: We enjoyed the deer very much. Visited Tractor Supply and placed deer blocks and corn. We had 6-10 deer visit daily after Day 3, the wood ducks, squirrels, and a huge flock of Canadian geese also enjoyed. Outdoors: We loved the outdoor swinging daybed and hot tub. We did not use the charcoal grill as prior tenants didn't clean after use which is really the only overly nit-picky thing I could say. Love the gated community which is staffed by helpful security. We loved staying at River Rock in Coosawattee because of the abundant wildlife which is also close but not too close to everything in town/area. We had a great spring break vacation. We look forward to coming back again. Thank you and God bless!
It was so sweet to celebrate the new year in this scenic cabin with our closest family. It was the first time as newly weds to have both sides of the immediate family together and this space was perfect for hosting.
The cabin was beautiful with wonderful views. Would definitely recommend

I would appreciate a five star review if you had no complaints. Four stars affects my listing status greatly. I work very hard to be an excellent host
About the host
Hosted by Jessica Hanna
I was born and raised in Marietta, Georgia. My father designed the house and co-built it with local builder, Steve Tetherow. This property is very special to my family and loved ones.
Why they chose this property
Loud rolling river sounds from all around, 24/7. There is Creek with waterfalls running alongside the right of home into river. Lots of geese. There is one blue heron on the river, who likes to hang near our part of the river. If you are lucky, you can get a glimpse or snap a pic of the lone Bald Eagle in the resort. When water is low enough, river play is a must. Grab a beer and hit the big rocks in the middle of the river. Tie a rope @ a tube or float and enjoy. There is a tiny island on my property too, we call it "baby deer" island. Mother deer like to hide their babies there from time to time....
What makes this property unique
Enjoy the best parts of the beautiful wildlife on this part of the resort. Very quiet, very few neighbors obstructing your views, and the solitude that the wildlife prefer in nature. 2 fire pits, and game room overlooking the river. River views from every place in this home.
