We loved our stay at Magnolia Haus! It was exactly as pictured, but even more peaceful and serene than you’d think. We loved seeing all of the deer near the home and met the fox others have mentioned!! Our kids are already asking when we can go back.

Great Outdoor Areas

The house is really nice, all the bedrooms were comfortable and the bathrooms were spacious. The best part was all the outdoor seating areas, great for grilling and hanging out.

Tranquil little retreat

If you’re looking for a relaxing space to enjoy hanging out with your family this is it! The open concept and outdoor spaces allow for gathering but not feeling like we were on top of one another. Close to the lake and a short drive to float the River.

Beautiful Property!

I wish I could upload some of my photos as this is one of those properties that is actually better in person than the photo's they have posted. The outdoor areas were great, the indoor space was perfect for our family. We had our oldest daughter, her husband and new baby, teenage daughter and her boyfriend, the loft rooms were perfect for them and my wife and I. Just had a wonderful time and would stay there again for sure.

Amazing home

We had a wonderful weekend at this awesome house in Canyon Lake. We loved everything about the property, from the huge windows, all the space to relax both inside and outside and the attention to details in the home. There are deer everywhere, which was a blast to see! You will not be disappointed with your stay at this hill country get away!

A little getaway

My husband and I spent our Valentine's Day and Weekend at the Magnolia Haus and ended up staying another night! It was so quiet, romantic and plenty of room. Very well thought out concept and loved the backyard and scenery. Will definitely return soon.

Better than expected

We really enjoyed the stay at this property. It was well thought out with everyone having their own space and privacy. The design materials were high end yet comfortable. We loved the privacy and location of the property. Our only cons would be the dishwasher had a very strong smell and lots of lawn tools some dangerous laying around the property.

Great family getaway

We loved our stay in this cute cabin! The finishes were really beautiful and looked brand new. The house in basically full windows which is so wonderful. We saw deer the whole time we were there! The kitchen is large and well appointed. The beds and linens were comfortable. There are TVs in every room. My only comment would be that the upstairs loft rooms have very steep ladders. I had a teen so I felt ok but even a medium sized child could easily fall. Thankfully there is a big bunk room for those that shouldn’t access the lofts.

Poor cleaning service

The house and property were beautiful. However, I think you need to know that your cleaning service is not horrible. I went to take bath last Friday night and found hair and grit in the bath tub. Saturday as I was making coffee I found someone's used coffee filter with old soggy coffee still in the coffee maker. Then, as I went to put toast in the oven I found a cookie sheet that had crumbs still on it. After all of this I was starting to wonder if we were even sleeping on clean sheets. Another area of improvement that is needed is the need for more area rugs. Especially beside the beds, door entry ways, kitchen and living room. No rugs made for a lot of dirt tracked on the floor, loud sound throughout the house and lack of overall comfort. The kitchen needed more dish towels. Two small ones is not enough. You offer a nice big fire pit,but no firewood. I've stayed in cabins in Oklahoma that all have firewood outside next to the fire pit. The master bedroom desperately needs lamps on the bedside tables as well as a real closet to store clothes properly. I was getting married last weekend and didn't have room to hang our dress clothes and my wedding dress/bag. Last, a huge disappointment for having to wait 48 hours prior to my departure for a request for late checkout. I requested this last Thursday and was told I had to wait one more day then they would get back with me. I waited the appropriate amount of time only to be told that my request was denied. Why could they have not just told me that on Thursday? Surely it wasn't because your cleaning crew couldn't come any later to clean because from what we experienced they didn't do that good of a job. I also don't think it was worth my $170.00 "cleaning service fee" that I was charged. Last, this property needs a game of corn hole or a built in horseshoe pit below the balcony. Families would love to play a game of either while cooking outside and enjoying the fire pit.

Quiet and Relaxing

We came for a spring break trip with kids and grandparents. As we pulled up we saw deer all over the yard. What a fun surprise. The outdoor area is great to relax in and the inside was clean and updated. We do wish there would have been a keurig coffee maker and ability to sign TVs into internet for streaming service (which there may be a way to but we couldn’t figure out) But hey we didn’t come to watch TV, but to get outside We enjoyed hanging outside, relaxing inside, and visiting all of the area attractions while we were there. Thanks for having us.
