Mountain View Getaway is a quiet two-bedroom condo that sleeps 6 located in the Mountain View Condos resort. The resort is located on top of a hill overlooking the Parkway in the heart of Pigeon Forge. Mountain View Condos was voted the best resort in Pigeon Forge 2016 & 2017.

Mountain View Getaway is less than a mile to the Hatfield & McCoy Dinner Show, WonderWorks, Hollywood Wax Museum, and the Titanic Museum. It’s less than 1.5 miles to the Tanger Outlet Mall, Apple Barn and Cider Mill, and The Island at Pigeon Forge. The condo is 2 miles to the LeConte Center and straight up the Parkway to Gatlinburg. At the main road, there is a trolley stop that will take you throughout the local area (including Dollywood).

The resort offers an indoor heated pool, a second outdoor pool, a 17-person hot tub, a kiddy pool, a basketball court, horseshoe pits, grills with picnic areas, and 2 play structures for the kids, all within steps of the condo. Mountain View Getaway is in building 3 on the ground floor. As shown in the pictures, building 3 is closest to the resort amenities.

This two-bedroom, two full bath condo is warm and inviting. The condo is on the ground floor (no stairs) and is handicap accessible with 3-foot doors. It has a king bed in the master, queen in the second bedroom, and a queen sleeper sofa, sleeping a total of 6 people. The master bathroom is spacious and equipped with a Jacuzzi tub, separate shower, and dual vanities. The second bathroom has a tub/shower combo with an entrance from both the second bedroom and main living area. The main living area is a great place to kick back and watch some TV after a day of visiting the local attractions or swimming in the resort pools. There is a large dining table that has plenty of room if you choose to cook a big meal in the fully equipped kitchen. The patio overlooks a beautiful green space. It’s a great spot to relax with a cup of coffee or your favorite book. Besides the large TV above the fireplace in the living room, each bedroom has a TV. The condo has WIFI and in unit washer and dryer, and we do decorate for Christmas.

The condo has great potential. Being close to the pool and park was excellent. Tons of parking. Quiet. Communication with host was great, they even allowed us to check in an hour early. The few downfalls were the horrible water pressure - water was only flowing from part of the shower head (maybe clogged?) in the shower off the main area. There were also some mildew/mold from moisture in the master bathroom along with the door having some tape holding the metal strip together. Beds were ok - not horrible but not great, I’m honestly a little picky with a mattress so this likely wouldn’t be an issue for someone else. Overall, great deal for the price for sure. Hot tub is great. Kids enjoyed the pool too!

Room was not clean 100%. Dirty socks behind dressers, dead bugs every where, food crumbs under the reclining loveseat. Pool was not easily accessible. Water was gross and smelled very strong of chlorine.

I have to admit I am shocked by your review. You never communicated any issues during your stay. We ask all guests upon check in if there are any issues to please let us know. You did not have any. If you would have let us know we would have had the cleaning issues taken care of immediately. As for the water we have not had anyone else mention it, but I will definitely look into it. I am sorry you had issues during your stay but wish you would have communicated them so we could have addressed them.

The condo was beautiful and clean. The condo had everything we may need. We enjoyed the kid friendly atmosphere such as the big yard area to play, 2 play equipment, indoor pool, nice walk or bike path around the grounds, outdoor pool with kiddie pool open after memorial day and 17 person hot tub. Plenty to do. Beds are very comfortable and clean. The kitchen was very organized with plastic cups, plates and bowls perfect for kids. Only a few things i would recommend upgrade tvs to smart tvs. In the master bathroom in front on shower needs a bath rug very slick be careful. For a piece of mind for families with little ones maybe relocate the wrist band on refrigerator out of sight of little hands. Our host was very responsive very fast. Thank you for sharing your lovely home. We will be back in the fall
