Enjoy a quiet beach getaway at Beachside Blessing on Dauphin Island. Visit our 3 bedroom, 3-bath classic beach house on the Gulf side of Dauphin Island's west end. Relax and enjoy the gulf breeze from the porch, enjoy a cold drink on the covered outdoor eating area or take a short walk to the beach to soak up the sun.

Beachside Blessing includes two bedrooms with king-sized beds and one bedroom with two queen-sized beds. It's the perfect setup for two families with children! The 3 bathrooms include a garden tub and two walk-in showers.

The living room and all 3 bedrooms have flatscreen TV’s. There is cable television and streaming in the living room. Two of the bedrooms have smart tv’s for streaming and one bedroom has cable. The home also has free high speed internet.

Located adjacent to the walking/biking trail and centrally located, Beachside Blessing provides you with easy access to all that Dauphin Island has to offer. Don’t miss visiting historic Fort Gains and the Audubon Bird Sanctuary where you move through maritime forest, marsh and dune habitat. The Island is also home to the Alabama Aquarium and Sea Lab that explores the animal, plant and marine life of coastal Alabama. Plan ahead and rent a boat or kayak, charter a fishing trip or simply lay on the beach and watch the ghost crabs. What more can you possibly need.

Great place to stay

We had a wonderful time at this property. The house was very clean, really convenient to have 3 bathrooms, comfy beds. The only negative was that the beach access is a bit of a walk and not well defined. There are really unfriendly local neighbors who stalked the beach access. Regardless, we always have a wonderful time at DI. It’s the best place to stay for a laid back vacation.

Beautiful home! We enjoyed our stay, the house was well stocked with toiletries, paper Products and cleaning supplies and was a close walk to the beach. Beds were also very comfortable.

We had an amazing time! This house was a short walk right onto the beach. The house was a beautiful perfect place to stay. The rooms had their own bathrooms and it made the stay so much easier with how many people we had. The shower outside to rinse the sand off was the perfect touch! We will most definitely stay here again.

Beach vacation

This was a lovely home with just a short walk to the water. Far enough from the water out 7and 8 year olds wouldn't go by themselves but close enough for the adults. We had an awesome vacation. Thank you so much.

Very nice house and neighborhood. Host was nice. Our only complaint was we thought that the house was on the beach where you could sit on the porch and see the ocean. You couldn’t see the beach from the house but it was just a couple minutes walk.

Overall a great stay

I’ve been to dauphin island before and knew the area. The house was lovely. Although it was a short walk to the beach, it was not clearly defined. A single plaque with an arrow didn’t align with where you needed to go and path was not cleared. The other issue was the grill they advertised. The one available to use was rusted and under the house and with all the rains, sat in 6-8 inches of water until two days before we left. The lack of garbage pick up, even though we had the cans at the street on the days required was frustrating. I did reach out to the homeowner and it took 4 days to respond to the concerns I had. We found out later that the tub shown in the pics was not a functioning jacuzzi tub. I will give kudos that he stopped by after a bad storm to see house the house was. The house was nice, proximity to the beach was ok and doable. While they had an abundance of plates and utensils, baking sheets were limited. This was also my first vrbo that had no seasonings left behind. I can understand food, but not even oils or spray Pam. The pictures are not completely accurate and should be updated. The neighbors a house away were more helpful at answering questions we had. Overall cleanliness was decent. Most motorways the tub and the jets. However there was not a single rug to help with sand or debris we bought one so it would help keep us from sweeping several times a day. The deck area was nice and it locked so it helped with having a dog.

Lovely stay at Beachside Blessing

The property was beautiful for my family of four (two teenagers), my parents, and one dog. Perfectly clean, fully equipped, loved the gate on deck for our dog. Closer to road but short walk to beach. We had a lovely stay.
