Hang out and RELAX at our spacious cottage on the bay. SeaDream offers sweeping vistas of the bay from our oversized deck at the rear of our home and grand Gulf views from the front! Just steps away to your own private bayside beach or an easy walking distance through the dune easement to the Gulf side sugar sand beaches. Bring your chairs and cooler and enjoy the Gorgeous Gulf without any of the hassles of parking or permits.

Our pet friendly property is located on a quiet cul-de sac off of the main thoroughfare through the island. Very safe for children and pets! Our private bayside beach offers pleasantly calm waters for children and a wonderful off -eash play area for your pups!

SeaDream was newly renovated in the last couple of years. New paint, appliances, floorings and more. Colorfully decorated, our home SeaDream offers exactly the kind of sought after beach side accommodations one would hope to find for a beachside retreat. Smart TV’s for those seeking a little time indoors after a long day on the beach. A Spacious Kitchen Island for preparing family meals to be served at the indoors or on our bayside deck dining area. A three bedroom split floor plan provides just the right amount of privacy to travel comfortably with your family or friends. Did we mention we’re pet friendly? We strongly encourage bringing ALL of your loved ones, fur babies too! Up to four dogs allowed!

SeaDream is a Fishermans paradise! With a private bay beach you can feel free to cast away without needing your fishing license or worrying about about the hassles of permits. No need to worry about someone else catching “your fish” either!

Dauphin Island is still largely untouched by the high rises, condos and large developments of many coastal communities. This provides for a true “Island Time” type of getaway.

Our property manager can suggest scenic historic spots, aquarium location, kayak and bike rentals, places to buy and eat locally caught fish, and more!

We also have a pet friendly Bed and Breakfast small hotel in New Orleans and you can benefit from reduced packages if you want to visit Dauphin Island, plus stop in New Orleans too!

House is located on Mississippi Sound; super calm and shallow waters. Perfect for our kiddo and dogs. House is well maintained and comfortable. Short walk to gulf side beaches, can see them clearly from kitchen window. Dog friendly to the max. Was in for Thanksgiving week so limited options on restaurants and activities but sooo quiet and peaceful! Trips into Theodore for supplies/pharmacy not bad at all.

This place is amazing. Kitchen had everything we needed, the bay access is so great! We fished every evening and enjoyed GORGEOUS sunsets, nice walks through the neighborhood, Gulf access across the street. The home is very well appointed, clean and tasteful. The host, Deborah, was timely, responsive, and available when we had questions. Overall, this place was perfect for my husband and our fur babies. Will definitely be back again! Property was exactly what we needed for 4 adults. It was close to water on both sides. The picture on the front page was not what we had-there is no longer a deck or beach chairs, which would have been nice, though we didn't really need them as we brought our own chairs.Property was in ok shape.

Joan, glad you enjoyed our proximity to the water, We verbally discussed why that large deck board pictured on the front page is no longer there--- because a bad storm lifted the deckboard and cast it into rocks and a concrete wall, breaking it. I am posting this response so others can see what happened. Anyone reading this please know that is a picture of the lower back yard, steps from the gulf. Now, folks are simply carrying chairs down to the same location and enjoying the same lovely view. And, the huge double deck on the back of the house is of course intact, and perfect for waterviews.

Location is great, close by the beach, and property manager had excellent communication. Not as many items within the house for children under 2 (high chairs, cribs, etc) but they told us ahead of time so we had everything we needed for the stay.The back deck is great for outdoor meals and kids have room to roam and play. Our kids loved the bench swing! We’d stay here again.

Peaceful place to get away. Loved sitting on the back porch swing overlooking the bay watching birds and dolphins. Later, walking out the front door over to the Gulf and finding seashells. The house was very nice and clean. We would stay here again.

Relaxing Spring Break

We had a great time during our stay! The pictures on vrbo do not do it the home justice. There is a new larger tv in the main living area and two bedrooms have King beds with new super comfortable mattresses. The walk to the gulf side was super easy. This is was a great place for the family to unwind!

The house was clean and exactly as advertiaed. On the bay (which my kid and dogs loved) and a very short walk to the beach on the Gulf (which was not crowded ever). Deb the manager was great to work with. I highly recommend!

Property manager very responsive. House was as described with bay beach at back yard. Enjoyed looking for shells during low tide. Recommend bug spray for evening walk protection and don't forget scrubby pads for cleaning dishes after cooking. Visit welcome center with museum and library the hostess there were very pleasant and accommodating. The aquarium research center priced reasonably and educational. Highly recommend the animal wildlife boat excursion, reasonable priced three hour tour with restroom onboard, and seeing variation of sea creatures brought in with net highly educational and interesting for young and old.

Absolute Gem !

We truly enjoyed our time at Sea Dream. It was a much needed island oasis for us and our pups. What made is so special was the immersion into the beautiful bay, most amazing sunsets, easy stroll to the gulf and great neighbors. Having such a large backyard and water access was a super asset! The decks were comfortable and the home is excellent for rest and relaxation!

Why they chose this property

We love this place and we love taking our pooches to the beach. They always enjoy it!!! We are so busy that much of the time we find it hard to get away. We love the quiet cul de sac location, being steps from the water and being away from traffic. We want other people to enjoy what we have enjoyed for years. Thus the reason for renting our beach house.

What makes this property unique

Dog Friendly!!! There aren't that many dog friendly beaches on the Gulf Coast. So please bring your pooches and/or kitties and enjoy. Private bayside beach where you can go fishing without a permit, and a quick walk over private easement to Gulf Shore.
