Convenient location and clean, but significant privacy and comfort issuesWe spent five nights here and appreciated that the home was clean, ready on time, in a great central location, and that the hosts were welcoming and dog-friendly.However, future guests should be aware of a few significant privacy and comfort factors that affected our stay:On-site presence & privacy: The hosts stay in the adjacent garage on the property with their own dogs. Because the window treatments facing the driveway do not fully cover the window, and with frequent coming and going (including daily delivery drop-offs and afternoon lawn maintenance), the stay did not feel private.Pet dynamics: While dogs are welcome, the yard is not fully enclosed. We had to coordinate or cut outdoor time short several times because the hosts' dogs were loose in the yard and porch area.Sleeping arrangements & climate: The beds are quite small, and the smaller bed frame was unstable/wobbly. Additionally, the second bedroom lacked a window AC unit and became uncomfortably warm.Amenities: The Roku TV was stuck in guest mode with an unrecoverable PIN, limiting usable entertainment to preexisting logins. We also noticed evidence of mice on the kitchen counter upon checkout.Overall, while the hosts are pleasant people, the setup feels more like sharing a property than having a private, restful rental.
