We were not happy with stay. Place was smaller than expected. There was little space to put anything. Not really pet friendly. Only area to walk was right next to busy highway.

We’re sorry the space felt smaller than expected and that storage was limited during your stay. We also understand your pet-friendly concerns, though there is a walkway at the back of the property and a backyard area that guests are welcome to use, which you may have missed during your visit. We appreciate your feedback and will use it to help set clearer expectations for future guests.
My husband and I came from Minnesota to celebrate our upcoming 18th anniversary with no real plans other than to relax and enjoy some time away — and this place could not have been more perfect. The cabin was spotless, cozy, quaint, peaceful, and incredibly welcoming from the moment we arrived. We also brought our English Bulldog, Willie Jack, and they welcomed him with open arms. Other guests absolutely loved him too, which made our stay even more special. You can truly tell the owners care about their guests and take pride in creating such a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. Even when we accidentally left behind a bag of trash when checking out, they were beyond kind and understanding about it. That level of hospitality really stands out.We enjoyed every second of our stay and honestly didn’t want to leave. If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway in South Dakota, we highly recommend staying here. We would absolutely come back again!
