'Southern Comfort' Only 2 Blocks from the Beach!

Only 2 blocks from the beach, this unique rental home is the perfect get-a-way. Enjoy peaceful, quiet nights, in this residential atmosphere. The ocean breeze will completely relax you on the large upstairs screened in porch under the massive oak trees.

We own and maintain this gorgeous vacation home and stay there often. It is well maintained and has just been recently updated with new appliances, new tile floors downstairs and completely painted inside. The house is fully furnished and the kitchen has everything you need.

The upstairs features two large bedrooms, one with a king size bed and the other with a pillow top queen size bed. Both bedrooms have HD TV as does the large family room upstairs that opens up into the kitchen with an entrance onto the screened in porch. Our kitchen offers everything you need if you prefer to cook, including a new gas grill on the porch. There is a full size bathroom with a tub/shower upstairs.

Downstairs has another family room with HD TV so adults and children can each have their privacy. There is a third large bedroom with a double bed and a twin bunk on top, as well as a full bathroom and laundry room. The couch downstairs is a convertable queen size bed as well.

Tybee Island was originally called, the 'Savannah Beach' and for good reason. It's only 15-20 minutes from downtown Savannah. You can enjoy the beach all summer long or tour the island on the Tybee Shuttle. Our home is less than five minutes to the nearest boat ramp, shopping, and plenty of restaurants with fresh local seafood. If you can't bring your boat, there are plenty of fishing charters available. There's no way you won't enjoy your stay. Our home is a 3 minute walk to the beach with the beautiful sand dunes.

You should make definite plans to venture into beautiful Historic Savannah. River Street is an absolute must with shopping and award winning cuisine. There you can watch some of the worlds largest container ships sail right by you on the Savannah River literally only hundreds of feet away. Experience Savannah through the Trolley Tours, Ghost Tours and visit the many National Historic Monuments.

An older home but very clean and close to the beach! Needs new mattresses otherwise wonderful!! We rented a golf cart and had a very relaxing trip! Even used the grill, very nice and kitchen was stocked well.

This is a very nice quaint cottage, as we call them in New England, easy access to everything on Tybee. The Beach is very close and a very clean one. The area of Tybee we were on is very quiet and relaxing.

My family of 6 were thrilled with our stay here. The owner was very responsive. The house had everything we needed and is in a great location. We loved the porch for hanging out, nice yard, outdoor shower and it was a short walk to the beach. Close to lots of food, shops and a quick drive to Savannah. We loved it and would stay here again.

Wonderful location

I have been coming to Tybee my whole life. Mid beach is by far the best location. This house is within walking distance to seventh Street boardwalk. Gary, the property manager, was a wonderful communicator. The house was well stocked and clean. My only two critiques are the upstairs bathroom shower needs to be replaced and the screen porch is not very safe for litties. There is no vertical slats on the bottom and it scares me if a child leans on it because it’s just thin screen. Overall I would recommend this property.

Perfect Tybee House for Our Family

We enjoyed our stay in this clean and comfortable family home. The main living area with two large bedrooms is upstairs, so probably best for school age, if kids are coming. I loved the beautiful trees In front and back. I would definitely rent here again.
