Historic 1940's Beach Cottage, steps to the beach!

This 3br 2bth sleeps 8! Fully equipped and just 30 seconds from walking over the dunes and on to the beach. Close to restaurants, surf shops etc. Please read our many excellent reviews! Heated oversized spa in backyard allows pool like/spa relaxation after the beach. Roof top deck over looking the Atlantic ocean. Look for off season specials. June and July are Saturday to Saturday 1 week rentals. All other months are flexible.
Our prices include all fees. No hidden fees.

We really enjoyed our stay at this house. For the three of us and two dogs it was just right.The roof top deck is very nice for morning coffee or afternoon cocktails. I only have one complaint, the beds were very uncomfortable. The hot tub did help ease the back pain we all had after sleeping. I would highly recommend this place to a small family. The area is quiet and close to some good restaurants. There were beach bikes to use, which i learned i can still ride after many years. Todd was very easy to communicate with. Overall i would give a 10.

This is such an adorable property that suited our small group so incredibly well. We live in an area that starts and ends summer break later than most so we caught the quietest week for a vacation on Tybee. This is not a huge place to be fair but it checks all of the boxes for us except a pool (but the ocean is literally right there). There is a roof deck, covered patio with an outdoor fridge and freezer which is amazing for keeping drinks and treats for the kids easily available. There is also a hot tub for relaxing after the beach.There is ice cream and restaurants close by and nearby Savannah is definitely worth the visit.The owner is very responsive and clearly cares about the property. I highly recommend this location for small vacation groups.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The cottage was as described. It was very clean. The host was very responsive. Close to the beach and in easy walking distance to restaurants. Would definitely book again.

Lovely clean cabin, easily sleeps six. 5 minute walk to the beach. Only negative was construction next door, loud and constant until 7:00 pm each night we stayed (3).

The description of the property was accurate and we were grateful for such a cozy and convenient place to stay. There were a couple of glitches that were resolved within a reasonable amount of time with a reply from the host. We did not regret our choice of a place to stay in Tybee.

The ocean is a short walk from the beach house. Very convenient as a family to go back and forth between the beach house and the beach multiple times each day. We thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub, and the layout of the beach house was perfect for our family. We mostly cook our meals from scratch, and the galley kitchen is well set up for cooking freshly caught fish and vegetables from the island farmers market.

We had a great stay. Beach access was very convenient, and the house was clean and just as described. Check-in was easy, and communication with the host was good. The hot tub was a nice bonus. The house is also close to restaurants. We are looking forward to our next stay.

Adorable vintage cottage! Well stocked with beach chairs and toys. Very large hot tub. Backyard fire pit was a great addition for those cool evenings. Short 20 minute drive to downtown Savannah.

We had a lovely stay! The location was so close to the beach and the cottage was very cosy. It was clean and stocked with anything we could need. Todd was easy to communicate with when we had a few questions. We would definitely stay there again, and hopefully next time the weather will cooperate too! I imagine in the high season it would be perfect to be out of the fray just enough yet close to activities on the south end of the island. Highly recommend!

Hi tammy, thanks for the review. Sometimes the guest prior are a little hard on the hot tub and it takes us a day to get out there to take care of it due to the fact that the house is constantly booked back to back. But we do strive to do our best every booking to have everything ready.

Hi. We live locally in Savannah and can assist before or during your stay. We love our 1940's beach cottage and we think you will too. It's only been rented to family and friends for 25 years until now, Oct 2022. Come enjoy!

Why they chose this property

We are only a few seconds walk over the dunes and on to the beach. Awesome location. We have 3 restaurants within 1 minute walking. The ice cream, convenient store and liquor store are also across the street. Sugar Shack is right behind us!
