Welcome to Willow's Retreat, your ultimate getaway in the serene White Mountains of Heber-Overgaard! Immerse yourself in the beauty of nature and watch wild horses roam by on our spacious back deck, or forest bathe while listening to the whispering pines on the front deck. Our pet-friendly cabin boasts 3 bedrooms (2 King beds, 1 Queen) and 2 baths, perfect for families, couples, or groups of friends, and is just an easy 2.5-hour drive from Phoenix. Our fenced-in backyard is ideal for dogs to relax in cooler weather and go off-leash.

Experience cooler temperatures in summer and snow in winter at an elevation of 6800ft, with unobstructed south and southeast views for miles. Our quiet cabin is located in Bison Ranch, and backs up to Apache-Sitgreaves National Forest. You'll enjoy modern comforts like AC, high-speed WiFi, and streaming TV, along with well-equipped kitchen, gas grill, outdoor dining table, and games for a fun-filled stay.

Now with high-speed StarLink Internet (~150M/bs) for the entire family, you can stay connected to work and enjoy endless entertainment. Our location is family-friendly and perfect for those who love the outdoors, with recreational options such as walking, hiking, fishing, exploring, and shopping nearby. You can walk to the pond with fishing, park for kids, open green space, tennis, basketball, and volleyball courts, as well as retail shops, bar, and restaurant within walking distance.

The hosts were so responsive in communicating with us and very clear with all the necessary information about our stay. The house is beautiful, the area is breathtaking, and importantly the beds are comfortable. The kitchen is stocked with essentials and equipment. The area has a whole host of things to occupy your time and also the peace to sit on the porch and appreciate nature. From now on this WILL be our destination to further explore this wonderfully peaceful world.

Our small group enjoys staying at Willows retreat! The house is well appointed and has everything that you need.The feral horses outback are fun to watch. We even saw 3 antelope. Have stayed here multiple times and will return in September.

We enjoyed the property thoroughly. Loved sitting on the back porched with the wind slightly blowing watching the wild horses. It was such a thrill to see the wild horses. The only thing I wish the cabin had was another TV due to the fact that we had a small child with us and someone who has dementia, it very hard to find something on the TV they both can watch and keep the sound at a certain level together to please both parties. We will have to plan better for those two, but besides that, it was perfect. We enjoyed playing games, fishing and relaxing on the porch. We would definitely do it again.

Always a pleasant relaxing stay at this cabin. Marc and Eve are very quick to respond. The back covered patio is one of pur favorite spots. Also the walking in the area is beautiful.

Enjoyed Our Stay

We'd definitely stay here again if we head back to the Heber area. The property was clean and had a nice layout. We brought a 17-month old (very mobile) toddler, and it worked out really well. There was even a few toys and some kids books for him to play with.

Love this cabin

This cabin is for our family to enjoy as a retreat from the Valley and as a place to experience nature. Lots of nearby hiking and lakes to explore. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do!

Cabin has central AC and gas heat, with wood floors (no carpet) throughout. Huge private back deck with sweeping views of national forest. Lovely front deck with views of pines and other cabins.
