Description of our home:
*Living Room: open concept living room adjoins the dining area and kitchen. The large windows allow lots of natural light to enter and provide you with amazing views of the water. A pull out sofa in the living room will sleep 2 comfortably.
*Kitchen: fully stocked kitchen with all necessities for preparing a wonderful home cooked meal while visiting the coast.
*Bedroom 1: King Bed - sleeps 2 Newly updated!
*Bedroom 2: Queen Bed - sleeps 2
*Living room 3: Couch is a sofa sleeper and will sleep 1-2
*Bathroom: full bath with tub/shower combination.
*Gas Fireplace

Dog fee in the amount of $15/dog/night, not to exceed two dogs with a $30/dog minimum. Any additional fees owed will be added after booking. Dogs must be at least 1 year of age and spayed or neutered. Contract will note full requirements

What a great space to stay in our first ever trip to Cannon Beach! Having the beach right outside our front door was amazing to look at and get to. We could walk right downtown to all the wonderful shops, coffees and foods.

We love this place! We used to stay on the south end of town until we found this on VRBO. We stayed a few months ago and loved it so much that we booked it again right away. Our dog loves being right on the beach and my wife loves that she only has to walk around the corner to be at all of the shops. The house is clean and well kept. We will be back again soon!!

Perfect sunset viewing with a glass of wine and good friends. Location allowed the car to remain parked and could walk any and everywhere we wanted to go. Bakery for a treat and coffee, shopping for a few travel clothes for another trip, and just socializing the dogs because they are accepted in almost every store. It was a fabulous 3 day stay and the immaculate accommodations made it that much more enjoyable.

We had a fantastic stay at the Sand Castle! Great location, right in the middle of town and on the beach. The wild bunnies were a big hit with the kids! Arnold and Malia were super attentive and responsive. The house itself is very cute and kept very clean (unlike many other beach houses we have stayed at). This was our first time on the Oregon Coast and can’t wait to be back!

Beautiful spot and very convenient to both shopping in town and the beach. Plenty of room in the common area. Second story balcony provides a great view of the beach!

Great view and location. Kitchen well equipped. Owners very nice and communicate well.Now the not great part: House has a lot of deferred maintenance as it’s quite shabby - chipped paint, worn out cabinets, musty smell, old carpeting. I tried to take a hot bath and there wasn’t enough hot water, though all we’d done is rinse dishes. We were expecting a lot more for this price range.

The property was not up to our standards. The cabinets were very cheap, the mattress in the guest room was old and sagged in the middle. Our friends were not able to sleep in the bed. We left after one night.

Cannon Beach Get Away

The property is stunning, tucked back with a 180 degree view of the river and ocean. The house was spotless and the kitchen well stocked. A lovely place to stay.

We had a great time staying here. Malia was great to work with and the entire process was completely seamless. The location is amazing with super easy access to the beach and downtown Cannon. We were able to walk everywhere and leave our car parked the entire time. Will definitely stay here again!

Cannon beach stay

Our stay was very nice. The VRBO needs a lot of updating. The carpeting, bathroom, bedrooms, and just general appearance of the VRBO is extremely outdated which makes it a less enjoyable stay. When a VRBO is designed and decorated in a warm and appealing manner, oddly enough, it can improve the experience that the renter has.

Wonderful beach get-away!

We love this place. Right on the beach, and just a couple blocks to the bakery and book store. Went to the play at the Coasters theater, and enjoyed rainy nights by the fire. The house is well equipped and spotless, too!

Malia was raised in Honaunau, Hawaii in a little town south of Kona. We love raising our daughter Pualani on the lovely Oregon Coast. Our business area includes Gearhart, Seaside, Cannon Beach & Arch Cape. We enjoy walking around the beaches year-round, swimming in the creeks during the summer warmer months, or surfing. Some of our favorite hiking spots are Oswald West and Ecola State Park from Crest beach to Indian beach. Everywhere we go we see someone we are connected to. From going to the post office, grocery shopping, having a meal, or just shopping. Which is why we started our business Kukui House Services here. Kukui means “light” in Hawaiian. Kukui “Light” House Services. We help owners with their rental or private home, and our guests so they experience a wonderful stay. Just steps to the ocean and Ecola Creek via a private walkway through the back yard. Our home is located in walking distance to all the great boutiques, restaurants, art galleries, and breweries in Cannon Beach, Oregon. The famous Haystack Rock is just a lovely stroll on the beach away.
