Welcome to the Hokum House! Incredible city and mountain views.

We specialize in offering upscale, stylish, and comfortable short term vacation rental homes including 8 homes and 4 casitas. All of our homes include fast Wi-Fi, memory foam mattresses, resort-quality linens, well-stocked kitchens (pots, pans, seasonings, cooking oils, etc.), bath necessities (toilet paper, body wash, shampoo, towels), newer flat panel smart TVs, and more. Professional cleaning and sanitizing between guests performed by our well-paid staff. Easy self check-in with digital keypad.

What makes this home special? Located high up at the base of the Catalina mountains foothills, enjoy spectacular views of the mountains, sunsets, and city lights! Take a soak in our hot tub, Enjoy covered grilling and outdoor dining. Lounge by the pool, or hang out inside our comfortable and newly remodeled home. The large floor plan is one floor (no stairs), four bathrooms and four bedrooms, covered outdoor kitchen for grilling and dining year-round, and more.

Take in panoramic city & mountain views, world-famous sunsets & watch as the city lights sparkle at night. Enjoy the private pool & spa, koi pond, city and mountain views, multiple outdoor seating areas, pool table, huge covered outdoor kitchen and dining area, and so much more!

Bird watcher's paradise! Quail, cardinals, road runners, and more like to sit on the edge of the pool and grab a quick drink. Because this house is on a private and rugged acre of desert you may see various wild life including birds, rabbits, lizards, and the occasional Gila Monster, coyote, owl, and more. If you should encounter wildlife that causes concern, simply contact Rural Metro for removal.

This very private oasis sits on over an acre and is in a very desirable location close to Tucson's finest dining, shopping, hiking, and biking. La Encantada, Tucson's beautiful outdoor mall with its great restaurants, coffee and gelato shops, gourmet grocery store and awesome assortment of boutiques and home and clothing stores is only moments away as are a pharmacy, bank, galleries and more restaurants!

This property also has easy access from I-10 making it an easy drive from Tucson's airport or Phoenix Sky Harbor or Gateway airports. NOTE: Pool heating may be available as an optional amenity priced separately based upon seasonal rates. If you are interested in pool heating, please request this service 48 hours prior to your check-in.

The property was perfect for our workcation. The house was large enough that we were all able to spread out when needed. The outside was a great spot for hanging out after work and our family loves a pool table, so most nights ended with several games of pool. We would definitely rent again!

This home's split floor plan is perfect for groups and families. Plenty of room to gather, plus private spaces for quiet time. Pocket doors allow the kitchen and living room space to be closed off from the rest of the house, too, if desired.

Beautiful Foothills location with great sunset views from the pool area- even though it was just my husband & I this property would be great for a larger group especially outside around the patio area. Our favorite part of town close to restaurants, shopping, hiking & a user friendly neighborhood for a run or power walk.

Fantastic home for our annual golf trip!!

This house Has everything and plenty big plus the spa was awesome - heated up really nicely - the pool was awesome too but we didn’t use it as much. Magic was great! Did a great job having everything ready for us. Had a great week of weather so it was nice to sit outside and enjoy the beautiful view! Definitely would book this home again!!

Really enjoyed property - very relaxing. Great family room/kitchen/views. We enjoyed the pool table and walking the neighborhood. Only suggestion would be if could make the hot tub a little hotter. Check in and out was very easy. Would definitely recommend and we would definitely return!

Thanks, Sharyl! Anytime a guest wants the hot tub temp changed we are happy to do accommodate. Just let us know! The max temp on the hot tub is 104 (I think this is a national standard) and we usually keep it at 102. As always, we welcome guests to contact us any time with questions or requests.

I would recommend anyone wishing to visit Tucson to book this property. The unit is awesome. With the bonus of pool and hot tub. The owner responded to a couple of issues immediately. The unit is with in driving distance of any activities that you might want to do.

Tucson Golf Trip

This was the perfect place to stay on a golf trip to Tucson. The location was great and all the amenities were just what we were looking for (pool table, comfortable beds, and a hot tub). It does take some time for the hot tub to come up to temp (103), but as long as you plan ahead it's not a big deal. We would definitely stay there again. FYI...Magic Johnson was a great host!

An Unforgettable Trip.

Beautiful house, with a view that is unbelievable! The colorful sun setting behind the mountains, with the city lights below, is a million-dollar view. Sitting there with the love of your life, soft music, and a beverage of your choice, makes for a vacation that dreams are made of. To top it off, we were in Tucson to see our beautifully perfect 2-week-old granddaughter.

Tucson Adventure

Hokum House was as lovely as the pictures…clean & comfortable. Views from both front & back of house were spectacular, especially sunset. Despite the chilly weather the kids spent every morning relaxing in the hot tub & enjoying their coffee & crosswords. We were within an easy half hour (or less) drive of every activity we had planned. Only disappointment was that the beautiful fireplaces were “decorative” only.

This home was a perfect place to spend a week in Tucson. It starts with the view of the city and the Foothills. We did not use the pool but could easily see how it would become the place to be in the evenings. The split bedroom layout with a central great room and kitchen provide a nice chance to have group and private time. Magic is a great host, responsive and helpful.

Rented the house to ride the climb up Mt Lemmon. The house has a significant grade climb to it (13%) which is hard to do after a long day and to get to Mt Lemmon you have to ride main streets full of traffic which is dangerous.

Luxury in Tucson

This property is sick. The master bedroom is enormous with two walk in closets and bathrooms. A large tub and huge double shower. The pool (billiard) room is amazing with a professional size table and all the gear you need to play. The kitchen & dinner rooms are big enough to entertain at least 10 guests without feeling crowded at all. The other 3 bedrooms are plenty big with bathrooms that anyone would enjoy. Outside is just amazing. A fish pond, hot tub & pool with a grill area and amazing views of downtown tucson and the mountains. The little out of the way location from downtown is worth the drive. All four of us (4 men on business) absolutely enjoyed everything about the home. I am sure anyone else would as well.

we had a family get together for eight days at this beautiful, one story house. there were 6 adults and 4 kids ( 1-13). we found the bedrooms spacious and the beds very comfortable. none of us felt crowded during our stay. the kitchen amenities fully met our needs. we all played pool and used several common spaces to play games. there was plenty of parking space for 3 cars. 2 really enjoyable aspects of the property were the " water amenities" and the great views of the mountains and Tucson at night either from the pool or a comfortable chair in the back yard. .the whole family spent many enjoyable hours in the very attractive pool and hot tub sharing quality time together. magic and his family were very friendly and responsive to our needs. they got us a crib and high chair for the baby. shopping, golf and places to eat were only a mile or two away. in short the whole experience was great and we would fully recommend this property to other modest sized groups.

Thanksgiving 2022!

Great place to spend Thanksgiving! Kitchen had all of the cooking and bakeware needed to put together a traditional spread. Outdoor grill & large table was great for lunches. Everyone enjoyed the hot tub, pool & pool table! Beautiful views!

Beautiful property!

This house was beautiful! We loved the pool, spa and outdoor area. The views are spectacular morning to night. Inside was super clean and beds super comfortable. Pool table and games a fun bonus! Communication with hosts was great. They were always prompt with responses. Don’t hesitate to book here!
