Place was awesome. We had a lot of rain while there but with the ping pong table set up, large dining room table for kids to play games while parents watched movies it was perfect.

Overall an ok house. On the river but the river was FREEZING. no water toys like kayaks or tubes or fishing poles to at least enjoy it. Grass needed to be mowed. Leaky toilet and stopped up bathroom sink. I wasn’t impressed. It looked much nicer in the pictures. For the price I paid I was expecting more.

Spent a few days here for my daughter's graduation weekend. The back deck was awesome to sit and enjoy the outdoors, with lots of tree cover to keep you comfortable, even in May! Loved how close it was to Canyon Lake North Park for a swim. The river behind the property was very stagnant and had lots of snakes, so we did not swim. We did however, bring rafts to fish from and to enjoy the river otherwise. Communication with the property was excellent.

Upon our arrival we noticed a huge, very active, wasps nest above the front door. We had a guest with us who is very allergic. We contacted the management company and they sent someone out the next day in the late afternoon. A little inconvenient, but we still appreciated them sending help. We discovered that the house was not as clean as we would like. It was very grimy. Food on cabinets, dead insects, and dirt on the floors. The beds and bathrooms were supplied with new linens, so we hoped. It was very apparent the floors had not been cleaned. There was no mop, the mop bucket was dry as a bone, no vacuum. When I asked for them to send someone out to clean, the offered to send a mop head and solution. They sent out the wrong mop head and some spray solution to mop with. Disappointing they wouldn’t send out their cleaner. The WiFi stopped working the first day there. They did provide new equipment that arrived at 3 on our last day there. They asked us to set it up. The management company was easy to communicate with until we had no WiFi. They did try to correct things we were not satisfied with other than the cleanliness. The “swimming hole” out back was stagnant. No fault of theirs, but I wouldn’t call it a swimming hole. There were no extra towels only enough for the amount of people we had. All and all, I do not believe we will be returning to this property, and possibly not any property managed by Vacay. The house needs some updating and a thorough cleaning.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We're sorry to hear your stay didn't meet your expectations. We'd like to provide a bit of additional context for future guests. Although we were unable to accommodate an early check-in request, the home was accessed around 2:30 PM, prior to our 4:00 PM check-in time. This unfortunately prevented our team from returning after another vendor had been at the property to complete a final walkthrough. We appreciate you bringing the wasp nest to our attention, and we had it addressed and removed as quickly as possible. Regarding the flooring concerns, you requested either that someone return or that we deliver a new mop head and cleaning solution. Per your request, our team promptly delivered the cleaning supplies, including the mop head and a solution you mix with water. When the Wi-Fi issue was reported, we began troubleshooting immediately and coordinated replacement equipment as quickly as possible. While the shipping timeline was outside of our control, we only asked if you were comfortable setting up the equipment after you confirmed you were. Otherwise, we would have gladly sent a team member to assist. We provide bath towels for the home's occupancy, plus extras and river towels, along with a washer and dryer for guest convenience. We appreciate your feedback and will use it to continue improving the guest experience.

Great spot for a weekend trip

Rented to float the river and it went well! Beds were comfortable and the table was big enough to seat out group. Overall pretty decent place to stay!
