INDOOR GATHERING SPACE
The main level is the gathering spot, the heart of the home with an open concept living and dining room. There is seating for 6 at the table with an additional 4 stools at the counter allowing everyone to gather for meals. The kitchen is stocked with all the dishes, glassware and utensils needed as well as a popcorn popper, crock pot, vegetable and rice steamer for added convenience.

OUTDOOR GATHERING SPACE
In addition to the indoor gathering space, the screened in back porch and outdoor deck offer additional space to relax in the evenings after a fun filled day of activities with chairs, fire pit, gas grill and a picnic table. The back faces the playground, making this the perfect location for families with children who may wish to play while the adults relax. This home provides cornhole boards with the bags for a nice family game of bags.

The inside amenities were ok. The listing states there is a hot tub. We were informed by management the day of arrival that the hot tub is not avaliable for us due to it needing a part that is taking a long time to get. After getting there and seeing the hot tub, it looked like it has not been functional for a very long time. It was full of dirty water and leaves. The oitsrde property could use some clean up also. It is a nice home and we did enjoy our stay and grandkids enjoyed the park tight out the backdoor. It just needs a little TLC.

The house was nice, but no tvs in much needed rooms.Hottub didnt work and golf cart wasnt in service which was listed in the amenities. The weather got cold and rainy so the main entertainment was mossing tvs hot tub and golf cart.

Family Fun

Loved the property and location. Beds were nice, kitchen well-stocked, playground and lakefront was fabulous. The main gathering area was a little small for us as there were 8 adults and one couch, so it could use some more comfortable seating. Also, we never had a golf cart ☹️ and we were lacking in soap, TP and paper towels.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is our 5th year of a week long summer vacation at Beachwalk and second time we’ve stayed at Lazy Daze. This year we were disappointed to find the large sectional couch had been replaced with a loveseat (very little comfortable seating for a house that sleeps ten), hot tub was a mess, and generally the house was a little sandy and dusty. Upon check in (3:15 pm) we were told the house wasn’t ready now but would be at 4pm. We went to the playground to wait where we could see the house was empty and ready. Disappointed at the low level of service after a five hour drive with kids. Love the layout of the house though, proximity to playground, golf cart to get to and from the beach. Overall a little disappointed in accommodations because it had been stellar in the past but overall still a fun family trip. Love the beach!

House was great size for 6 adults (who are related and don't need much privacy).A few small things that could be easily rectified:- No dish soap- Hot tub water was greenish/smelled a bit mildewy, so we ended up not using and was a feature we had originally booked the house for and had called head to ensure it was running- Sofa was not the most comfortable. Not super sturdy kept splitting apart and for a winter stay a cozy seating area is key!- Beach walk properties did not give correct check-in instructions and never sent check out instructions. Had to call office and go back to do something they forgot to say when we checked in.All things that can be easily fixed and shouldn't be a deterrent from renting this house. I would recommend.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall, BWVR has been a truly easy group to work with. They have been extremely responsive, streamlined check-in and check-put processes, quick to notify us of changes, provide live feedback during weather events to keep us informed, completely transparent and assuring of our stay on all fronts. We have been utilizing this location for rentals a number of years and each year the BWVR experience has improved. They continue to create a fun and enjoyable atmosphere while remaining polite and inviting. Our opinion is mostly associated with the home itself. This home had some immediate flaws that were unexpected considering the cost for a weekly rental. It had multiple light bulbs not working, the couch was a 2 seater despite the picture showing a larger sectional. There was no real area to sit inside to accommodate a family of 7 comfortably. We had to sit on mostly metal chairs while bringing outside furniture in with cushions. And vice versa bringing indoor chairs outside to create comfortable sitting space for the family. Having no access to the basement (we do respect the reason why though) eliminated more space for us to spread out in this home. When able, we did spend more time out on the front porch and back screened porch which helped but made the experience feel separating of the family. Furthermore, the main bedroom downstairs had a small bed that made sleeping very difficult. This bedroom being the only on the main floor, and the one utilized by the grandparents, was ultimately only used by one adult while the other was pushed to the bunk bed upstairs with the grandchildren. The house appearance was nice overall and the level of cleanliness was as expected. The only other complaint was the hot tub outside. It was green, frothy, and smelled moldy despite a chlorine float in the water. Sadly, we completely avoided the hot tub do to the concern for unsafe/unsanitary soaking conditions.

Reviewer Comments: Our stay at Lazy Daze was great!My wife & I where there with our two sons & their families... a total of 6 adults & 4 grandchildren (the grandchildren all under the age of 7).The property was in very good condition, comfortably accommodated all of us and it's location was very convenient for us... there is a playground right behind the house, just walk off the back patio and you're in the playground. The grandkids had a great time there, and especially enjoyed the giant slide.We all enjoyed the pool and the activity center (paddleboat, shuffleboard, bocce ball).The stove/oven in the unit did go out while we where there, we notified property management immediately, and a replacement for the stove/oven was provided within 24 hours.We would definitely recommend this property to a friend/relative and look forward to having the opportunity to visit the property again ourselves.

Reviewer Comments: We love coming to Beachwalk each year and always have an amazing time! The staff is friendly, the area is beautiful, and the amenities are top notch.Unfortunately, this home needs a lot of work and we should have read previous reviews more thoroughly. We stayed here in early October and the dishwasher was broken (we received a credit for this, thank you!), big holes in the deck that you can fall into, floorboards on stairs had all shifted which exposed the underlayment (we kicked them all back into place for safety reasons but they shouldn't move this much), the weeds were overgrown and coming up through the front porch, and overall, it was just very dirty and unkept outside. It needs a lot of loving before the next rental season.Otherwise, it is a well stocked house, spacious, and the kitchen updates are great. We found the master bath upstairs (king size bedroom) to be very tiny but since it was just us, we used the other bathrooms. The bed downstairs is very wobbly, the loft bed was sunk in the middle.We will absolutely be back to Beachwalk but it won't be in this home.

Exception Experience!

We love all the various colored houses as well as the distance to the beautiful beach. The house was in excellent condition and seemed to be recently updated. We loved the décor. By far, the best part was the fire pit, hot tub, playground in the backyard and the golf car. The view from the backyard is gorgeous because the park is there with a small strip of trees dividing the house and the park. This significantly increased the enjoyment of the fire pit and hot tub. I realize that by telling the truth about how nice the house was will hamper our ability to rent it again, but it really was a wonderful house. Also, our experience with the Beachwalk Vacation staff was outstanding. They were professional, efficient and very friendly. We really appreciate what they did to make our stay so enjoyable. The weather was exceptional as well which contributed to the experience. It is such a pleasure to be able to give such a positive review.

Lazy Days at Lazy Daze

Very nicely appointed house in charming community. Loved using the golf cart, as this property is in the back of the community. It backs up to the playground area, so it would be a great place to stay with kids. Only suggestions for improvement are that the sheets should be replaced and the high surfaces, like fan blades and door frame tops, need a good dusting. Otherwise very clean. Impressed to find a few beach chairs and umbrella, plenty of dish soap, laundry detergent, etc. and every utensil or cookware you need to cook a meal. Highly recommend.
