Such a cool old place!

We loved staying at this place in Semur. Amazing views out the windows and a real sense of history. It is in a mainly pedestrian part of the town but you can drive to it to drop off your things. Parking is a short walk down the hill. Hosts were kind and helpful. Truly a charming location.

The location is unbeatable. Central to everything. Maite was a fantastic host and the apartment has everything you need. We could have stayed there for much longer. We would definitely return

Very spacious, nicely furnished apartment in a central location. You can get straight into French life. Maïté is a very attentive hostess who provided us with good restaurant tips. A good boulangerie is within walking distance. Semur is a good base for many excursions.

Appartement très agréable

Appartement très agréablement rénové au 2ième étage dune maison du XVI è siècle, très clair , avec un mini-balcon au soleil du matin dont nous navons pas pu profiter car lair était hélas très frais pour la saison. Les chambres sont spacieuses, le lit en 160 est très confortable, la cuisine est très bien équipée. Maiité habite au-dessus et est très à lécoute de ses hôtes et de bon conseil : très bon restaurant "le pari des gourmets" près du Lac, ... Boulangerie,boucherie, légumes frais accessibles à pied dans la vieille ville (5 à 10mn). De Semur , beaucoup à visiter à pied, à vélo ou en voiture. Merci à notre hôtesse, cétait formidable. En été, dormir les fenêtres ouvertes serait sans doute bruyant (zone piétonne avec nombreux restaurants)

Semur en Auxois is een leuk middeleeuws stadje. Wat is er leuker dan er midden in te verblijven, in een pand van middeleeuwse oorsprong? Gastvrije verhuurder bovendien. Een aanrader!

Doux souvenir de notre séjour en Bourgogne

La location située au cœur de la cité médiévale répond précisément aux attentes des personnes passionnées d’histoire, à proximité des sites incontournables (châteaux, édifices religieux, fouilles archéologiques…) sans oublier la gastronomie. A refaire.

Lovely location

Easy to book. Located in a lovely medieval town. Plenty to do in the locality. The property was quirky and wonderful, very well equipped and spacious. Recommended as we said to each other we would stay again.

Très bon séjour au centre de Semur-en-Auxois

L'appartement est très agréable, bien équipé et merveilleusement aménagé. Nous avions autant de plaisir à visiter la ville qu'à rentrer chez nous. Maïté a été très accueillante et prévenante.

Großzügige Wohnung mit einer Menge Charme, an einem herrlichen Fleckchen Erde!

Die "Logis des gouverneurs" ist großzügig geschnitten und ist mit allem drum und dran ausgestattet. Sie verbreitet historischen Charme und lässt keine Wünsche offen! Zudem sind die Gastgeber ebenso zuvorkommend wie herzlich. Sie haben uns gerne zu lohnenden Ausflugszielen der Region beraten und auf wundervolle Weise begrüßt. Kommt dazu, dass der Ort Semur-en-Auxois wunderschön und im Herzen Burgunds ganz wunderbar gelegen ist. Fazit: Tolle Wohnung! Unbedingt empfehlenswert!

Spacious comfortable apartment in a Beautiful Town

What a lovely place to stay to visit Burgundy, or stay nearer home and explore the wonders of Semur and Flavigny. The apartment has everything you need and then some. First, the building and the furnishings are both impressive and comfortable. The beds are comfy, the bathrooms modern, and the kitchen has everything you need to cook any meal. It was very chilly outside a couple of our days there, and the apartment was warm. Maïté was an excellent host and her husband was charming as well. His paintings and treasures from their travels adorn the walls. We definitely hope to return, and we will plan to stay longer.

Alles gut, aber ..

Hallo, die sehr schöne Ferienwohnung entsprach voll unseren Vorstellungen. Zeitweise unangenehme Gerüche haben den Aufenthalt etwas getrübt. Darauf hingewiesen versicherte die Vermieterin, dass dieses Problem neu sei und umgehend beseitigt würde. Wir hoffen, dass dies gelingt und noch viele Urlauber dort eine tolle Unterkunft finden. Sehr freundliche Begrüßung von sehr netten Vermietern - perfekter Empfang nach guter Absprache - gute Ratschläge für alle Fragen - altehrwürdiges Gebäude - alles funktioniert - kleine Einschränkung aber ehrlicherweise auch im Inserat nicht abgebildet ist eine altehrwürdige Toilette - aber alles so schön, dass wir gerne wiederkommen wenn uns unser Weg wieder einmal nach Semur en Auxois führt Gabi und Richard

Fenomenal!

Espacioso, limpio y bien equipado alojamiento en una casa con historia, situada justo a la entrada del casco antiguo de este bonito pueblo. Parking cerca. La amabilidad y predisposición a ayudarte en todo momento de los propietarios, Maïté y Jean Alain, nos han hecho sentirnos como en casa. Gracias.

Wirklich etwas ganz Besonderes

Semur ist ein wunderschönes historisches Städtchen, das perfekt als Basis für Ausflüge in die nähere und weitere Umgebung geeignet ist. Innerhalb von Semur wiederum ist die Lage dieser Ferienwohnung perfekt: Gleich hinter dem alten Stadttor gelegen, ist die gesamte Innenstadt in bequemer Laufnähe. Die Wohnung ist über eine bequeme, breite historische Wendeltreppe erreichbar. Innerhalb der dicken, alten Mauern ist sie individuell und charmant eingerichtet, und wir wurden dort sehr freundlich empfangen. Wir haben unsere Zeit in Semur sehr genossen!

The most perfect apartment and owner!

A warm, friendly, helpful welcome from the lovely owner and a jaw-droppingly beautiful, historic apartment made this a wonderful stay that was sadly way too short - we could have extended it by a month! We cannot wait to return to this apartment later in the year - it has absolutely everything and it's bang in the middle of town with easy, free parking. Thank you so much for accepting our reservation!

A gem!

How often does one get to stay in a lodging whose outer walls were once part of the city walls? The apartment was amazing, right in the middle of things - everything was perfect. The town of Semur is the perfect launching spot for visiting countless surrounding sites. Our hostess was charming and provided everything we needed. I would go back in a heartbeat. Next time I’ll stay longer.

Environnement bruyant

Un très bel appartement et familial, juste un soucis : le 2ème étage donnant sur la zone piétonne et le centre historique donc le réveil à 6h30 tous les matins c'était juste moyen pour passer une semaine de vacances tranquille!! (livraison tôt le matin, ramassage des poubelles 2/fois par semaine, bruits des cafés et restaurants). Concernant la propreté, rien à dire. Un appartement à ne pas recommander si vous souhaitez vous reposer, revoir l'annonce.

La question du bruit, jamais auparavant mentionné par les vacanciers, est pourtant facilement résolue par l'utilisation des volets extérieurs et des volets intérieurs complétant des fenêtres aux doubles vitrages....

Wohlfühlatmosphäre in historischem Ambiente

Wir genossen unseren Aufenthalt in dieser einmaligen Wohnung in absolut zentraler Lage und mit individueller und liebevoller Ausstattung. Der freundliche Empfang, die große Hilfsbereit-schaft und die ungezwungenen Gespräche mit den Vermietern trugen dazu bei, dass wir uns von Anfang an wohl fühlten. Das malerische Städtchen, verschiedene Veranstaltungen - von der "Bel-Etage" aus einzigartig zu erleben -, viele lohnende Ziele in der Umgebung und die Landschaft an sich ließen Burgund für uns zum Erlebnis werden. Uneingeschränkte Empfehlung. Super!
