Benji was a great host and was very attentive to any questions or concerns we had and was very kind to our dog. The location can't be beat and is near trails and lagoons which is a benefit if you are a walker and looking to explore (but you must also be cognizant of snakes). The beach is a forty minute walk (and there are a number of different ways to get there which adds variety to walks) and between the property and the beach you will find a number of retail shops and restaurants (very close to Sprouts and Vons). As stated in the description, it is on top of one of the highest points in Solana Beach and the walk from the street to the guest house is pretty steep with some dirt (in addition, if you walk to the beach, be aware that the walk back is up hill). If you use a walker or need help getting up stairs then this isn't the property for you. You will track dirt into the house and will want to stay on top of cleaning.
