Fantastic family holiday.

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful authentic Norman house. All the facilities you could want for a great holiday, set in stunning grounds and in an ideal location. Communication with property owner and manager was excellent before and during our stay. Highly recommend and would love to return.

Recommendable

We enjoyed a family vacation and the very kind hospitality. The property provides many options with kids even if it is raining. Eight to ten persons are best according to our experiences.

Family Holiday

There were 10 of us. Dining area was large and accommodating. Lounge area only had enough seating for 7. Not enough lounges and cushions in the garden area. Indoor pool was the most used area, great for the kids. Very quiet and peaceful.

I feel a little bad putting a low review on as Oliver the host was superb. Great communication and was available when we needed him. I have marked the place down on cleanliness as we had to clean most of the plates in the kitchen and there was a lot of mouse droppings in the swimming pool area. The house does have 6 double rooms but one of them is in the loft space of the outside git and overlooks two other bedroom so if you were to go as 6 couples there would be no privacy for two of the rooms. Also the living room has bonquet seating which is ok for a short period of time but is definately not confortable. We were lucky the the weather was amazing so we spent alot of time outside. In Short Oliver was a fantastic host and very welcoming but the house should in my opinion be listed for a maximum of 10 people and could do with a deep clean,

Wonderful.

We had such a fantastic 10 days in this glorious house. It's utterly beautiful and looks as though it's stepped out of a fairy tale. The garden is huge and teeming with wildlife, the main house is wonderfully rustic with two substantial tables that are ideal for family games and the 3-bedroom annexe is so comfortable. The pool makes it especially brilliant - we spent the majority of our time using it. Thank you enormously Olivier and Didier.

Family celebrations

We chose this property to host husbands special birthday celebrations. The property is set in lovely grounds including enormous koi fish pond. Sleeping accommodation is split between main house and annex which suited us well but the 6th room (above the annex) constitutes a mattress on the floor and is only accessible via a ladder- possibly great for younger family members but not for adults as not able to stand up there. The pool was much used - smaller than it looks in the photos but nevertheless much enjoyed. Communication with host was best via the App and responses were timely. A local manager of the property was available for arrival etc but communication was a little more challenging due to our lack of fluent French and his of fluent English- he was however polite and responsive throughout. We had a rainy week and so the enormous dining table was great for family board games and eating all together.
