Skiing was great snow was good up higher and the last day Friday we got snow so it was nice to play in some powder. The condo was pretty good. I was a little bothered that none of the TVs worked. I had to get someone to come in and reprogram it to get it to come on the TV in the bedroom was leaning against the back wall because it was broke off the stand pretty poor for a 5000 a week place.

Everyone we encountered at the front desk was lovely and accommodating. They answered all of our questions and had great advice as we were first timers at the resort. The condo itself was very well taken of. Nestled in a quiet corner of the building and it was truly a ski in ski out. We loved every minute.

We enjoyed our stay at Torian Plum. It wasn't ski season, but still appreciated that it was close to the ski resort and associated scene (restaurants, hiking, etc). Condo was clean, modern, and good layout for my family. Though windows do seem outdated relative to the rest of the place--wondering how they could properly keep the cold out during winter.

Our unit was very roomy and the furniture was comfortable for just relaxing. The kitchen was well-stocked with plates and glassware (just remember to bring your own spices!) and we appreciated the kitchen and bathroom "kits" that Retreatia provided. Having a parking garage was a nice upgrade from parking outside, and being so close to restaurants such as Cafe Diva really made it easy to find a nice place to eat. We usually stay at another place that's not too far from Torian Plum, but I think we'll be staying at Torian from now on.

Great location!

We love staying at the Torian Plum. The location is great and the pool and hot tubs are wonderful. This unit was not very clean. We needed to wipe out the refrigerator before we put food in it. The extra bedding was wadded up in the closet and there was a big rip in the shower curtain.

Quaint and rustic

Property was clean and cute. Mountain decor was fun and bathrooms were nicely designed and decorated with plenty of towels. Beds were rather hard and the sliding glass door didn’t lock. Check in process was easy but the manager at the desk was rather unfriendly. Location would be great for ski season, close to the base with several shops and restaurants just downstairs.

Needs some updating.

The pictures make this condo look a lot nicer than it is. Clean and well stocked, but can really do with some updates. Check-in was easy, but we weren’t given any check out instructions, so we did our best.

Great location but dirty and outdated

This condo is in a great location but on the 2nd floor looking at building roofs. The carpets are all stained and the beds are old and creaky. Checkin process made us wait because the property manager never told the front desk that our condo was ready. With a little bit of TLC this place would be great!

Stayed 4 nights and had an excellent stay. Clean, well stocked kitchen with nice supply of pans and kitchen tools. Clean well kept bathrooms and very clean throughout condo and complex. Restaurants were awesome, live music, the stream area was fun, pool and hot tub perfect. We were there in late July. No air conditioning was ok- little warm during the day but we just went to the pool and cooled off. Condo had multiple fans and we brought one. Sleeping at night was fine with windows open it was mid 50’s. Always felt safe and nice mix of having activities but very peaceful, too. We would rent here again.

July 4th fun

This was at the base of the mountain - convenient to many events for all ages. It was me, my husband, and our two boys (21 and 16). The boys rented downhill bikes with a lift pass and had a blast. I hiked up the mountain around the lift area and met up with them coming down. I also played mini-golf - a nice course built into the mountain. I didn't ride the coaster because of time and long lines. There are 3 restaurants right next to Torian Plum. We had a great breakfast at one, beer and margarita at the mexican place next door and sat outside the 3rd one listening to a two man band while watching the boys come down the mountain. It was very pretty view with the well landscaped creek that the kids and dogs walked in. I was bummed we couldn't bring our 4-legged friend as saw many dogs walking around the area. The restaurants and some venues didn't allow them so it was more convenient that we left him at home. We went into town for the fireworks, rodeo and Friday night concert. All were good and traffic/parking wasn't bad. The river was running too fast so we didn't get to tube. It was a great vacation and I would recommend this unit. It's an older condo but they have done some remodeling. I wish the railing around the porch wasn't concrete - it wasn't as open as the units on the floors above us that had a metal railing. It was quiet and I like the way the complex is designed. I never saw another tenant. There was plenty of underground parking. Oh, we also played golf at Haymaker (get the Green Saver Mobile app for discount).

Summertime Stay

The condo does not have air conditioning - it was pretty hot the week we stayed but there are more than enough fans and there are lots of windows to open in the evenings. We were only there to sleep so this wasn't an issue. Condo had everything we needed. The parking garage is easy to get in and out of. The location is great if you want to be right in the Torian Plaza. This unit is directly above a restaurant but we never had noise issues. Pool and hot tubs are great. Great coffee shop next door. Nice area and place to stay in Steamboat!
