This idyllic stone house stands on a beautiful land, two kilometers of the Seine, in the small village of Saint-Etienne-sous-Bailleul. Quiet and peaceful, it is in an undulating landscape of its location and proximity to Giverny, this home is the perfect house for people who want to combine a stay near a luxuriant nature with a visit to Monet's house. Also on the property where the owners live, there are two other individual villas. The houses without vis-à-vis are all independent of each other.

The house is built on two vaults and main rooms are accessed by crossing a few steps. It has a living room and bedroom area with a bed 2 people, a sofa bed and a TV. The second bedroom is furnished with a bed of 120 cm. The kitchen includes a refrigerator, a stove, a microwave and a coffee maker. The bathroom has a shower and toilet. In addition, the house has a laundry room. a billiards room, table football

 The house is completed by a 1500 m² garden with sun loungers and a private garage. The land is fenced and suitable for children.

The house offers free Wi-Fi. A cot can be provided on request.

The Impressionism lovers will have twelve kilometers to go to Giverny, home to the museum and gardens of Claude Monet. There is also a nearby lake. There are shops within a radius of seven kilometers. On the bank of the Seine, there is a famous restaurant and a bakery. You can reach a hiking trail in only six minute drive or thirty minutes.

Traditional stone cottage, set in a lovely, peaceful, rural location, in a well tended garden. Good parking. Giverny was close and access to Rouen, Versailles was easy. Some issues with mosquitos.

Country stay outside of Vernon

Beautiful setting, off the beaten path. We only had one night here but loved the farm setting, old stone buildings surrounded by gorgeous french countryside. And the apartment was meticulously clean!

Relax in the country

We made this our first stop on our arrival in France. It was a nice place to unwind after our travels and was well-situated to explore Giverny and its surroundings. The buildings and garden are charming. An enjoyable place when you need a break from the city.

Lovely “cottage” in a peaceful setting

We were travel weary after a 30 day whirlwind tour of France by car. This apartment is in a lovely valley with loads of charm. It was so peaceful, we opted to just sit in the garden and read for the afternoon we were there. Follow the directions the host provides!

The perfect get away!

We absolutely LOVED our stay at the Vaults! The unit had everything we needed to enjoy our country get away. After a busy few days in Paris, it was the perfect choice. The grounds were so well kept and beautiful as well. My grandaughter and I adored exploring the little towns, and we were able to travel to Monet's Garden in 30 minutes. Elizabeth was the perfect host and answered all of my communications very quickly. Merci pour tout!

Charming village, beautiful views

This is a clean and well done apartment in a charming rural setting. Elisabeth is a great host. We only stayed one overnight after seeing Monet’s house and garden in close by Giverny, then headed to CDG airport airport very early the next morning. Wish we could have stayed longer.Sigh.

Die Unterkunft liegt auf dem Land, in der Nähe des schönen Städtchens Vernon. Wir hatten eine sehr detaillierte Beschreibung, wo man parken kann und wie die Wohnung zu finden ist, aber als wir um 21 Uhr ankamen, wurden wir schon beim Ausladen von der Gastgeberin empfangen, die uns alles gezeigt hat.Wir hatten einen kurzen, aber schönen Aufenthalt. Und wir waren froh darüber, Moskitonetze gegen Stechmücken mitgebracht zu haben.

Ruhiger. Erholsamer Urlaub

Wir wurden freundlich empfangen und die notwendigen Dinge wurden uns erklärt. Die Gartenanlage war sehr schön und gepflegt. Wir haben die Ruhe genossen. Bei der Ankunft wurde uns sofort angeboten,dass wir uns bei Fragen an die Gastgeber wenden könnten.
