Leave the stress of life and the city behind. Scenic views and a glimpse of country living await you at this adorable 850sf cottage located down a private drive on a 10 acre ranch estate. Visit world class dining and wineries. Beaches are nearby, and hiking and biking trails are close by too. Bbq and picnic outside, or make dinner and cozy up inside near the fireplace and play games...it’s up to you. Get back to nature, rest and restore yourself. This is a place for nature enthusiasts and animal lovers who treasure tranquility, but also like being minutes from the quaint towns of Santa Ynez, Los Olivos, and Solvang. Come to the SYV, we welcome you!

Guests stay at the Cottage only, which includes the side yard. Please park around the side of the cottage.
Guests are not to go onto our neighbor's property or pet of feed our neighbor's animals.
No smoking, drugs or marajuana anywhere on property

Wonderful stay the place is charming, isolated enough to feel like you’re in the middle of the wilderness although close to everything the accommodations are wonderful and it’s an absolutely breathtaking scenery. All around the host are very helpful and kind and I would highly recommend anyone that wants to get out of the hustle and bustle and stay somewhere quiet really beautiful place a blessing.

The cottage house is located on the hosts property, in a very quiet place, inside an automatic age, well off the road. The "quiet" of the country permeates your life here; the birds, and light wind in the oak trees make it very restful. Communication with the host was excellent, and very helpful. They even took the time to share "feeding" with their animals (donkeys and cows) and their very friendly dogs. It's very nice the way the property is set up, because the animals are separated from the cottage by a high ridge, so you are not bothered by them at all. The location is a close drive to wineries and restaurants, or stores if you want to cook your own in their well appointed kitchen. We spent a lovely week and soaked in the "country".

As advertised, the cottage is indeed secluded. The property is set back in the rolling hills amongst coveys of quail, ground squirrels, and the occasional cow. We enjoyed our stay.

The ranch cottage was in excellent condition and was super clean. The towels and bedding smelled clean and fresh. The kitchen was well stocked and everything worked. The hosts were wonderful from arranging a visit with their farm animals to leaving delicious home made chocolate chip cookies for us. Beautiful location. Very peaceful and quiet. We would definitely return.

This cottage is the perfect base camp to get to all the local sights by day and to recharge at night. Super cute, clean, and well equipped, it's exactly what the host says it is. Definitely will be staying here again!
