Very good vacation rental: the stream provided the perfect white noise for relaxing, the amenities were nice, and we felt like we could spread out and truly relax. 2 things to note: bring your own fooseball if you want to use the fooseball table, and if you plan on sleeping in the master bedroom bring an eye mask, since there are no curtains and a big window.
First and for most the house is so outdated. The master bedroom upstairs is the most outdated. There were dirty socks under the futon, the bathroom had dirt on the floor and the tub looked like paint had spilled all over it. The kitchen faucet was broken, no paper towels, no complementary coffee. The garbage can needed some wd40 on it. The bedroom next to the bathroom the beds squeezed every time you moved. The house offered a wood burning stove but does not provide any wood to keep warm. The bedroom downstairs in the basement had mouse droppings in it. Needless to say the snow was beautiful but this place was terrible.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us. We are very sorry to hear the home did not meet your expectations. We attempt to be as transparent with our listings as possible and provide accurate and current photos, amenities lists, and descriptions so guests can make an informed choice about what they are paying for and make the right decision for their needs. Our property manager confirms that the home looks exactly as the listing photos. The home was properly cleaned and inspected before your arrival. The carpets had just been recently shampooed, and no mice or droppings had been seen in the home before or after your stay. Regarding the bathtub, there are a couple of small missing paint/seal spots in the shower that need to be touched up and will be addressed soon. The kitchen faucet is not broken; the set lock screw on the handle had come loose. The faucet worked just fine, and the screw was tightened after we were informed. We apologize if no paper towels were provided during your stay, as normally, housekeeping stocks two rolls. We do not provide coffee for sanitary purposes, and it is up to the guest to provide this for their stay. We will have the garbage can looked at, but no prior issues have been reported. We will look at the squeaky beds and see what can be done to reduce the noise. Regarding the wood-burning stove, it is stated in the listing that no wood is provided; there are local stores where wood can be purchased by guest for use during their stay. We value your insights as they help us understand the guest experience better. We hope to have the opportunity to host you again for a better experience.
Great cabin for a family weekend getaway right on the river. The cabin is clean and well stocked. Great location and a short drive to Leavenworth.

cabin location along the serene riverside.
Property was clean and quiet with plenty of privacy. I will note that the water has a bit of slime feel so id recommend bringing your own drinking water but Would definitely recommend a stay at this location

Magnificent setting!
The cabin sits on a stream that babbles and runs in back of the place. What sweet white noise. The pines and other trees whisper on the breeze. The cabin was huge and could have had more people staying but the place was limited to 6 people. Stairs everywhere and the enterance was through the garage. A very dated and in need of an update
This was a wonderful place for our family to stay! Had all the room and amenities we needed. Only downside was no AC but, the place cooled off quick in the evening for comfort while sleeping.

We look forward to welcoming you back for another wonderful getaway in the future!
We loved the location and proximity to Leavworth and the woodsy winter wonderland by the creek. There is plenty of space to spread out and ample beds for our very large family. Check in was a breeze. The interior is cozy and clean but nothing super modern. The only minor consideration not worthy of 5 stars was the state of the master tub which had paint peeling and door was off the hinge. All-in-all, we were happy with our retreat and would recommend it to others.

Quiet and comfortable.
Beautiful location. Close to Leavenworth. Had everything we needed. Quick response when we had concerns. Thank you!
Beautiful location right on Peshastin Creek which was roaring. Kitchen cabinets and drawers need some organization. Also suggest providing aluminum foil and ziplocs.

Kim, thank you for providing your feedback, as we use your comments as a means to continually improve. We look forward to hosting you again.
Beautiful home with a picturesque view of the Peshastin Creek. My only gripe is that the home had no A/C so during the afternoons it was over 80 degrees in the house. Other than that, we would love to return

Private Getaway
Loved the seclusion, private beach and sound of water rushing by could be heard in every room and level. Although steep stairs leading to beach not for anyone handicapped. Good internet connection and lots of tv viewing options. Kitchen well stocked and lots of room for everyone. Beds super comfy. Very quick response to correct an outside issue I called about.

We enjoyed this place so much! Everyone had fun playing in the creek and exploring the woods. Wild turkeys were pretty cool too! Loved all the wood interior.
** Difficulty seeing the "Blue" top of the mailboxes. Something more striking or colorful would be helpful.

Looks bigger in the pictures
Still a nice place if you dont mind the occasional stink bug or spider, pictures look nicer than the place itself. The paths down to the river is very steep and the current is not safe. If you bring a dog make sure they cant get down there, they could get swept away.
