Perfect Home In Every Way!!!

I can't say enough good things about our stay at the Monarch house! This house is absolutely beautiful and in the best location! The outdoor spaces are so lovely. It is clear that Nate and Steven have put great time and attention into every detail. Speaking of the owners, they are so kind and friendly. They immediately took care of picking up gas for the grill and heaters when we needed it. They also gave us our privacy. We have never been to Phoenix and we most definitely plan to return. When we do, we hope to stay here again. We had great weather the first two days, which allowed us to enjoy outdoor activities. To name just a few we went on an electric bike tour, hiked Piestewa Peak, and spent time walking around Roosevelt Row. It rained our last day, so we went shopping at the Fashion Square Mall. We also ate at The Duce, which was featured on Diners, Drive-ins and Dives. There is also great shopping and restaurants very close to the Monarch home. Thanks for everything Nate said Steven!

Simple but elegant home

The Monarch House was perfect for my Phoenix visit. This home is small yet has a spacious feel. Tastefully and artfully decorated throughout with updated appliances and a well equipped kitchen. Perfect for entertaining with ample dining room seating. My only regret is that the weather was not conducive to allow full enjoyment of the charming outdoor living area; I look forward to a return visit when the weather is more favorable. So comfortable and well maintained I truly felt as if I was a welcomed guest in someone's private home. We lacked for nothing save a few kitchen towels which were delivered within minutes by the very friendly and responsive property manager himself. I hosted several small dinner parties and a brunch for my Phoenix family and all were quite impressed with the high quality of every aspect of this home. Although I have rented numerous properties through VRBO and have never been disappointed, the Monarch House has earned my highest praise. Oasis In The Desert

My college age daughter transferred to GCU which is about 3 miles east of this house, and this home ended up being my oasis in the desert as I was very busy moving my daughter into her apartment. My daughter will be at GCU for the next two years and I plan on renting this house again when I need to visit her.

Beautiful house in a great neighborhood

My friends and I had an incredible time at this lovely home! It was super clean, smelled AMAZING, and was perfectly located. We went to brunch at Postino (within walking distance), had dinner at Mora Italian (maybe a 7 minute drive) and relaxed at the house itself. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect and charming home to celebrate in!

We are from the Mid-West and love visiting Phoenix so we decided to purchase a home with 2 guest studios so we can share our love of the city with others. Our favorite thing to do is take the dogs to the park, eat at the many local restaurants, listen to live music, hike, and take a day trip. We are in the best neighborhood where you can walk or rail to most anywhere in the Valley you want to be. Here is a great resource for things to do during your stay. We have contributed to this site and so have other host so you get an array of favorite things to do. We look forward to hosting you and want to make this the best trip ever!

Why they chose this property

The Monarch Home is a very unique updated historic home in the heart of the city. The home got it's name from the the street its located on. It's located on Mariposa which means butterfly garden. We have had so much fun decorating this property to give it a artful flare with art that means a lot to us and some local Phoenix artist are featured.

What makes this property unique

Our home is spacious with private living area’s indoor and outdoor. Located in the Pearson Place Historic District next to Melrose you will be staying in our 1930’s home that has been completely renovated, while preserving the charm. The spaces has a kitchen, dining room, living area, king en-suite bedroom with private outdoor area, queen bedroom, and a guest bathroom with tub. Enjoy a flat screen Smart TV in the living area and bedrooms with access to Netflix, HULU Live, and other entertainment choices including sports channels. The outdoor space is spacious and secluded with a grill, fire pit, tables, bar, and lounging areas. The double french doors in the master can stay open to bring the outdoors in. Easy access to laundry facilities on property. You can entertain, do yoga, listen to music, watch movies, or just relax. Our goal is to make our home yours.

This home is shared with our 2 Guest Studios, the spaces are not connected and you can enjoy your own secluded outdoor spaces.

Plenty of street parking. Safe key less entry. Outdoor security camera monitoring.
