Property had electrical problems & no heat. Never stayed. Difficulties between owner & VRBO has resulted in a partial refund. Not sure who is at fault but we are still owed $219.00.

Quiet
It was quiet and relaxing. However the view of the river was not as close as the description stated and the “wildflower gardens” were more like a walk through the woods then gardens. Other than that it was a beautiful place to stay and get away from it all.
Beautiful property and well maintained "cottage". Kitchen stocked with everything you need to cook a dinner. (sans food and seasoning). Wonderful hosts, privacy and dogs on property are not bothersome and are very friendly. The cottage is close to Bellows Falls; a 10 minute drive to eclectic downtown area.
The property attraction is the water falls and river swimming area. (bring water shoes). It is truly a beautiful setting.
We would return in a heartbeat.
We had the most relaxing stay! Beautiful property and grounds, a terrific host, the cutest town and a zen like river to have your morning coffee! What more could you ask for.
Bob was terrific, very helpful and informative. Great to talk with and he made us feel right at home. He even cut some lilacs for us to take home upon checkout. Very sweet. His dogs Mondo and Nero are adorable and very friendly.
The apartment is well equipped with everything you need for bathing and for cooking. They even supplied coffee, tea, milk, OJ and condiments in the fridge. Just perfect. The bed was extremely comfortable, nice big T.V. and the old Victrola was a nice added touch .
The town of Bellows Falls, where we eventually want to live, is just adorable and has everything from beautiful views to great places to eat and shop.
The crowning touch to this place, and the vacation, was the grounds and the river with the falls. Absolutely gorgeous and so relaxing.
If you are looking for The Ritz Carlton, this is not your place, but if you like rustic, being in nature and are looking for total peace and relaxation then this is the place to be!! We can't wait to go back!
Thank you Bob for sharing your little slice of heaven with us!

Great place
The apartment was well equipped and the hosts were lovely. I hope to stay there again.
We stayed at Bob’s home while attending a wedding at Alyson’s Orchard in Putney, VT. We were amazed with the beautiful river and waterfall. The grounds were wonderful and peaceful.
The home is simple and retains the characteristics of its’ period. The kitchen had your basic needs and the home is simply decorated with antiques and period decore. Bob has two dogs, Nero and Mundo and they are sweet and friendly. The apartment sits behind the home and you can hear the owners speaking and walking above you. You have your own entrance and parking. The bathroom has been updated and has a very nice shower. Bob has set up benches, chairs and tables to sit and enjoy the beautiful waterfall. It was a very nice stay.

Such a relaxing stay at this gorgeous home!
We had such a wonderful weekend at this home. Secluded paradise indeed! Bob and his family and friends were all so friendly, especially the doggies there. The apartment had everything we needed and more! Nice tub, great kitchen, comfy bed, etc. The swimming hole behind the house was the highlight though! The water was very refreshing on the 90 degree day. Can't wait to visit again :)
