The location was excellent. The suite was large and the view of the lake was beautiful.The dock was the highlight. Lots of deck chairs and shade area. Easy to swim off the floating dock. Wayne the host was very welcoming and made sure we knew everything about the property. We will book again.

We loved the view most of all and the dock was very enjoyable. We swam and my son brought his paddle boards over so we could do that here too. The bed was not the best - we are used to a firm supportive mattress but we managed for short term.

Perfect weekend getaway at the Lake

The weather and the lake were amazing. The whole family really enjoyed our time here. The property is clean and comfortable. The view is gorgeous. I hope to be back next summer.

Great stay

Great stay for a weekend at the lake. Lovely dock. Comfortable bed. Lots of sleeping space with the couches. Fresh eggs provided by Wayne which was lovely!

Wonderful time away from it all!

We had a wonderful holiday. The apartment is beautiful, and the setting more beautiful still. The owners and their very well behaved dog are welcoming and friendly. Lots of walking, kayaking etc to be done. Also interesting towns, museums and so on in easy driving.

We had a wonderful stay in this Lake Cowichan apartment with a fantastic view. The apartment was spotless, comfortable, and equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing visit. The location was perfect for exploring the lake, nearby trails, and the beautiful Cowichan Valley.Our host was exceptionally welcoming, friendly, and responsive, making us feel at home from the moment we arrived. We especially appreciated the thoughtful touches and local recommendations.The apartment was quiet, cozy, and an excellent base for enjoying all that Lake Cowichan has to offer. Amazing location

Such a beautiful spot! Great views of the lake, short walk to the dock, quiet location yet only 5 minutes from the main grocery store in town. Our young children loved greeting the chickens when they weren't spending time on the lake dock. Lovely hosts and suite. Will definitely look into booking again next trip to Lake Cowichan.

Perfect mix of calm, relaxing, and nature

We loved this place so much we returned for a second time and will definitely be back! The place is cozy and well equipped with the comforts of home. The lake and private dock are perfect for relaxing, swimming and lounging. What a treat!

Nice getaway

The suite was clean, had all the kitchen amenities we needed. Wayne is a great host. We enjoyed sitting on the dock in the morning and on the lawn in the evening. Close enough to town to not be a pain to go to town. It’s an absolutely gorgeous setting and stunningly quiet.

A lovely lakeside end to the summer!

Water was crystal clear and especially enjoyed watching the passing boats cruising up and down during the sunsets. The cool air of the suite was welcome during the hottest time of the day, combined with the sun-soaked view of the lake made for a lovely time.

A perfect get away

The unit is spotless, we’ll stocked, very private and quiet. We had limitless use of the dock although our hosts used it too. But they are lovely and very friendly. The lake is amazing. Perfect temperature and no weeds.

Relaxing week on the lake

This is the perfect place for us to enjoy Cowichan Lake. This rental has all we need - bbq for cooking and eating al fresco. Comfy couch and tv for the nights we want to curl up and watch a movie. Relaxing outdoor seating for Amazing views of the sunsetting over the lake. And the dock to hang out all day and cool of in the lake . We always enjoy our visit with Wayne, Sue and Ferrari / looking forward to next year.

Beautiful lake getaway

This was our first time staying at the property and won’t be our last! The suite has everything you could need for a comfortable stay and you can’t beat the view or the floating dock. We are a family of 3 with a teen and it worked really well for us. Wayne & Susan are wonderful hosts and provide so many thoughtful touches to make you feel at home. Like the fresh egg delivery from their chickens to the outdoor games and water toys. The lake is so beautiful, it’s just the perfect vacation spot.
