The "Oz-Sweet-Home" chalet, a 4-star furnished holiday rental, is located in the Isère department, in the heart of the Oisans region at an elevation of 1,350 metres above sea level, in the resort of Oz-en-Oisans (Alpe d'Huez). The chalet is part of a group of 33 homes. It is ideally situated for access by car (loading/unloading) and for access to the ski area (just 80 m from the Clos du Pré slope and the Clos du Pré ski lift).
Among the newest resorts in the French Alps, Oz en Oisans has 50 years of experience in resort development and offers residents architecture and urban planning supported by strong environmental policies.
As for skiing, the first chairlift and the first run are 80m long. From the chalet, the first major chairlift (Poutran), which connects to Alpe d’Huez, is accessible via the ski lift or on foot (200 m).
The Oz-Sweet-Home chalet is connected to the "Alpe d'Huez Grand Domaine Ski" and its 250 kilometres of slopes, located between 1,100 and 3,330 metres above sea level.
There are 133 runs (43 green, 34 blue, 40 red, and 16 black) served by 81 ski lifts waiting for you.
The numerous ski lifts will quickly take you to the highest point—the Pic Blanc at 3,330 metres above sea level. Pic Blanc is also the starting point for the world’s longest vertical drop (2,230 metres) and longest run (16 km) on “La Sarenne”!!!
The Oz–Vaujany ski area is ideal for beginners and intermediate skiers, with a variety of slopes totaling 70 km in length! A gentle return to the resort is guaranteed thanks to the blue “Élan” run, much to the delight of children, beginners, and those with slightly tired legs.
Summer activities shouldn’t overlook hiking, rock climbing, mountain biking (Oz en Oisans has hosted charming races for many years) and cycling. The 21 bends of Alpe d’Huez and the legendary Iron Cross and Glandon passes are easily accessible.
The Oz-Sweet-Home chalet is situated in an exceptional location, in a place called “Le Clos du Pré,” nestled among pine trees and overlooking the Belledonne mountain range.
The Oz-Sweet-Home chalet is ideally situated, and its northwest-to-southwest exposure allows for beautiful sunbathing in both summer and winter.
Furthermore, it is located 200 metres from the resort centre and the shops.
Its location near the access road to Clos du Pré allows you to drive right up to the chalet, making it easy to load and unload your car.
Paid winter parking is available 100 metres from the chalet.
This lovely chalet with cosy decor can accommodate 8 to 10 people.
The entrance to the chalet is through a ski room and a large closet to keep your gear warm.
A spacious living room and a beautiful dining area with a fireplace provide a gathering spot for all the chalet’s guests.
A fully equipped modern kitchen allows you to prepare meals for the whole family or a group of friends.
