Important Note Regarding CoronaVirus COVID-19: We have always, and will continue to detail clean and work to disinfect the entire house prior to guests arriving and immediately after guests leave.
Our upscale, no bank, waterfront home is a luxury vacation rental property located 62 miles north of downtown Seattle or Bellevue, with land access to the best beach on Camano Island with beautiful north-facing views of the Puget Sound, Mt. Baker and evening sunsets. This unique property is situated right on the sand with 60' of beach front. It is 274' deep with plenty of yard for kids to play games in the front and back of the house with ample parking for vehicles and a boat trailer if desired. The home is a two-story, 2450 sq. ft., open floor plan which creates the perfect free-flowing entertainment space, from the kitchen to the living room, and into the dining room with a slider that opens right to the outdoor sun, fun and beach. Four bedrooms, a bunk room and 2-1/4 bathrooms provide comfortable accommodations for up to 12 guests. We finished a complete renovation in May of 2018, including a new kitchen, remodeled bathrooms, new flooring, new fireplace (not functional) and cabinets, new lighting and fixtures, HVAC and much more! Every detail was carefully planned from the unique leathered granite counter tops to the subway tiles, to the stylish lighting and soothing paint colors and certainly the beautiful decorating selected throughout. From the moment you enter our home you will enjoy what makes a Camano Island beach front property so tranquil and inviting. Guests can enjoy all of what the beach has to offer from lying in the sun to swimming, playing in the sand to long walks, or a beach fire in the fire pit on the bulkhead. This beach has it all. If you have a boat or jet skis, the public boat launch is 1000 ft away for daily in and out or we have boat cleats on the bulkhead and a mooring buoy off shore. If you have a desire to stay inside the home during the day or evening there are various board and card games for family fun. Looking for a movie night? Relax on the large sectional sofa and enjoy a show on the new 60-in TV with access to Wave Cable, Netflix and YouTube or pop in one of the DVDs we have for your use. Cooking and entertaining are seamless in the newly remodeled chef's kitchen, featuring stainless appliances from KitchenAid. The kitchen is fully stocked with endless chef's cookware, gadgets and small appliances, including a toaster, coffee maker, blender, etc. In addition, guests have access to the stainless grill located out by the beach and outdoor dining with seating for 10 at one table. Whether eating inside the dining room or outside on the bulkhead, guests will enjoy sweeping views of the Puget Sound. The kitchen has 4 bar seats on the peninsula and a round 4 seat table just behind. Continuous flow to the dining room makes for an ideal entertainment space. With comfortable seating for 8 overlooking Puget Sound and panoramic views or Mt Baker, guests will enjoy the view with every meal. Want to eat outside? Step through the sliding doors and dine on the bulkhead right off the beach where the sunsets are breathtaking. Just off the kitchen is the remodeled laundry room, complete with new Electrolux efficient washer and dryer. There is also a ¼ bath in this space. There are two luxurious master bedrooms that offer stunning Puget Sound, Mt. Baker and sunset views from the 2nd floor of the home. Fall asleep to the sounds of waves washing up on the beach to sun lighting up the sound in the morning. Relax from the comfort of a king-sized bed with Egyptian cotton sheets and soft linen duvets in each room. Open the sliding doors to the private balconies to bring the gentle water breeze inside or read a book in one of the balcony chairs. The newly remodeled bath for these rooms feature all new Kohler fixtures, a two head, over-sized shower, extra counter and cabinet space with a makeup chair, excellent lighting and mirror and a separate double-sink vanity. There are two beautifully appointed guest bedrooms on the main floor along with a separate newly-remodeled hall bathroom to share. Both guest rooms feature queen-sized beds, Egyptian cotton sheets, luxury bedding, seaside inspired artwork and comfortable floor space for circulation. The main level guest bathroom features a stunning tiled bathtub/shower with a double vanity and new Kohler fixtures throughout. Kids of all ages will enjoy relaxing in the 2nd floor bunk room, complete with 2 sets of Twin XL sized bunk beds (adults can also use these beds as they are longer than normal with upgraded mattresses). This special bedroom is the perfect space to enjoy quiet time with a movie on the wall-mounted TV or read a book curled up in bed. Two south-facing windows bring in beautiful natural light but can be closed off with blackout blinds. All bedrooms are equipped with TVs and have cable, Netflix, YouTube, etc. for your viewing pleasure. This beach house is outdoor living at its finest! The over-sized yard provides space for a variety of games and sports activities. There are plenty of seating areas including 2 comfortable lounge chairs and a bench right outside the living room bay windows, sectional sofa on the bulkhead at the beach, umbrella-topped dining table with 10 chairs, and a fire pit with 8 additional beach chairs to be used, stored in the backyard shed. Enjoy sweeping views of the Puget Sound and Mt. Baker across the water to the Northeast. Soak up the sun as you watch boats of all kinds heading to and from Deception Pass and out to the San Juan Islands as well as seeing seals and occasional whales. Keep your eye out for bald eagles…they have been spotted many times flying past the house and like to perch in nearby trees on the hill where they nest. Warm up on a chilly night by the outdoor fire pit with plenty of dried split firewood stocked just outside the slider for use. Camano Island has many wonderful places to visit and explore! Spend a day hitting one of the state parks…Camano Island State Park or Cama Beach State Park. Zip line at Canopy Tours Northwest. English Boom Historical Park or Iverson Spit Waterfront Preserve are popular spots to visit. Hit up one of the many restaurants nearby at the Camano Plaza or the Camano Island Market Place or visit a farm-to-table experience at Kristoferson Farm, for a wonderful meal and wine pairing. Camano Island has something for everyone and the possibilities are endless! Planning for a party? We love a party just as much as the next person but due to the quality of the decor of this particular home, we suggest you consider other options that may be available for you. This home is great for family fun and relaxation!

About the host
Hosted by Patrick Whipple
Tara and I are a long tenured, local family to Stanwood/Camano Island. We have 4 young children and we built a home that our family enjoys very much and we feel others will too. Being from this area we have spent a great deal of our lives on and around the Puget Sound and the many islands it has to offer. We love the Northwest and the beauty it has to offer and we believe any one who visits our home will feel the same way.
Why they chose this property
This property is great for many reasons as stated in the description. Renovating the property with the style and detail selected we feel we have an inviting, relaxing home for all to enjoy as we have with our family and friends. We have a home that is not only on the best beach on Camano Island but is also centrally located to grocery stores, restaurants, golf, and all of your needs for your stay. If you bring a boat there is great fishing, crabbing and shrimping when they are in season right out in front of the home. You are also close to La Connor, Oak harbor, Coupeville, Deception Pass and the San Juan islands for day trips. The convenience of being able to drive onto the island and not have to use a ferry is a bonus as well.
What makes this property unique
