It will open on 14 May 2016. Located in the heart of the Burgundy between Paris and Geneva, La Cabane du Pont de la Roche is a perfect mix of nature, refinement, comfort and romanticism. Ideal for a weekend in couple or for long stays. Designed by the architecture firm “Ar-tek” specialised in innovative residences, Richard and Vincent Cretin wanted to create a home that blends into this idyllic setting. Like this, they bring out the river and nature in a quiet and relaxing environment. Accommodation: sleeps up to 2 people, 19 m² optimised space, terrace, 140x190 cm bed, kitchenette, shower, separate toilet, parking space, DTT television, phone, free Wi-Fi, non-smoking accommodation and small pets allowed. Thanks to this exceptional Cabane you will experience something unique. You will enjoy a sight of sounds and lights on the river as soon as night falls, in an idyllic setting and truly recharge your batteries in the middle of nature. Your bed faces the river to wake up and be open to nature and discoveries. There, you will easily see white-throat dippers, kingfishers and other wagtails and ducks. A small boat is at your disposal to cross the river and to picnic on the shore on a small private area. Night lights over the water will offer magical sights. Several options are offered with delicious local products: foie gras, marbled ham, fowl terrine, pork or duck with Burgundy truffle rillettes. For more details about each offer, please read the rental rate and extra information section. It is open all year long. Annual rates: Minimum stay 7 nights 1260 euros. Arrival is on Friday from 6:00 p.m. and departure is on Friday at 10:00 a.m.

Une parenthèse idyllique

Merveilleux séjour passé dans la cabane. Une parenthèse, une bulle, un endroit où le temps se fige… le confort et l’originalité de l’endroit en fait un véritable havre de paix. En cohésion avec la nature, on a pu observer au bord de la rivière des danses de libellules, les chants des oiseaux et tout ça sans etre embêtés par les moustiques. Merci à Frédéric d’avoir créé cet endroit et de le faire partager avec passion, bienveillance et gentillesse. Nous reviendrons c’est une évidence.

Wen man Abgeschiedenheit zum erholen sucht ideal. Auch Besichtigungen sind mit dem Auto in 30 - 60 min problemlos erreichbar. Der gastgeber, ist immer für einem da.

Wir waren eine Woche mit unserem Labrador im Cabanne. Das Zimmer ist perfekt eingerichtet, auch Kochen ist möglich. Die Terrasse angenehm schattig an heissen Sommertagen. Die Umgebung sehr ländlich aber trotzdem nur zirka 40 Minuten bis Dijon. Frederic ist sehr hilfsbereit und macht alles damit man sich wohl fühlt. Vielen Dank.

Idyllic, peaceful hideaway

Frederique's cabane was just perfect for our honeymoon. It was in an idyllic, peaceful setting with just the sound of the river running by. The balcony was a lovely place to relax in the mornings and evenings and watch the birds and river life. We particularly enjoyed the hot tub and the loungers. The cabane itself was well equipped and was perfectly accommodating for two people. There was plenty of hot water and the bed was comfortable. Parking the car was easy, as was locating the cabane on our day of arrival. Frederique was attentive, without being intrusive and we felt well looked after. He showed us around the old mill he and his family lives in which was a treat. We spent some of our time at the cabane relaxing in the sun and the rest of the time using it as a base and touring the region in our car. We found Burgundy to be an attractive rural area fitted with picturesque towns and villages and vast landscapes to the horizons of fields and woodland. We would definitely consider returning.

Vraiment un petit paradis, acceuil super sympa d'un propriètaire trés devoué et gentil et qui est content de partager son paradis. vous vous sentez très bienvenu. J'ai eu la chance de rester dans le Cabane ainsi Le Cube et c'etait simplement parfait. Tout les deux avec leur propre ambiance et style mais surtout très confortable. Tout à l'état neuf et propre. l'endroit super avec la rivière fôret et le chant des oiseaux . C'est bcp plus que just une autre location ! á réfaire, Merci pour tout! Tamara

Confortable, lumineux, apaisant... Voilà un endroit à ne pas rater. L'endroit est au calme, sans être très éloigné de la ville La vue sur la rivière est très apaisante. Le logement est confortable et pratique, les matériaux et équipements de qualité. Sans oublier un propriétaire disponible est aux petits soins...

Nous avons passé une semaine à Frénois dans cet endroit merveilleux, zen et unique. cette location s'accorde en parfaite harmonie avec le cadre, entourée de verdure, loin du bruit, du métro parisien. Splendide

Une petite semaine au milieu de toute cette verdure est comme un rêve enchanté. Cet endroit est magique, un havre de paix. La cabane et sa terrasse sur la rivière d'où l'on peut observer les truites, les libellules nous ont enchantés, ce petit coin de paradis nous a fait beaucoup de bien. Merci à Frédéric pour son accueil chaleureux. Nous espérons revenir au plus vite pour de nouvelles aventures!!

Erg mooi en bijzonder huisje.

Het is een heel idyllisch huisje, gelegen meteen aan de rivier (wel een natuurstroompje, niet geschikt voor zwemmen). Het is heerlijk zitten op het balkon of op het aangrenzende terras. De bomen en de brug zijn 's avonds prachtig aangelicht wat er sprookjesachtig uitziet! Het huisje was brandschoon bij aankomst en voorzien van alle gemakken. Het is voor het eerste seizoen in de verhuur, dus alles was gloednieuw! Het voelt allemaal heel luxe aan, het heeft de privacy en de ruimte van een huisje en het comfort en de luxe van een hotelkamer. Fijn bed, mooie badkamer, keuken voorzien aan het benodigde. Frédéric, de verhuurder, woont op het naastgelegen grondstuk. Hij is erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. De omgeving is erg rustig, niet erg toeristisch. Het wordt drukker wanneer je meer richting de wijn kust (Beaune, 1u20min) of richting Dijon (40min) rijdt. De restaurantjes zijn er dus dun gezaaid en voor de betere restaurants is tijdig reserveren een must! De supermarkt ligt op 20min rijden.

Merci à fred d'avoir imaginé ce lieu propice au repos et aux balades... Son accueil chaleureux, son goût et sa passion pour ces cabanes sont palpables aux premières paroles échangées. sèjour idyllique

Magnifique hébergement où le moindre détail a été pensé avec goût et qualitépour un maximum de confort, dans un très bel environnement, l'idéal pour se ressourcer, se reposer et découvrir la campagne et les villages environnants. La cabane et sa terrasse sur la rivière d'où l'on peut observer les truites, les libellules et autres papillons nous ont enchantés,. Belle idée que la scénarisation du décor avec l'éclairage de nuit du petit pont, du saule pleureur et de la source. La belle rencontre avec le propriétaire, les documents préparés pour la découverte de la règion ainsi que les petites attentions, telles que les anis de Flavigny et la bonne bouteille de Chablis nous ont fait très plaisir. C'est une excellente adresse que nous recommanderons autour de nous et vers laquelle nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir.

Havre de paix et de tranquillité

Cadre paradisiaque, pour se détendre et redécouvrir la nature, belles prestations intérieur et accueil du propriétaire formidable par sa gentillesse et sa disponibilité. De belles choses aussi a découvrir dans les environs. Séjour mémorable, dommage trop court donc a renouveler très vite. Mille merci.

Why they chose this property

La Cabane du Pont de la Roche is located in the heart of the Burgundy region on a small land at the edge of the Ignon River which is a first category (quiet) river and is adjacent to Le Moulin de la Roche, family property where I spend part of my childhood. It is a romantic place in a truly enchanting setting. Today, it is truly a great pleasure to give you the opportunity to enjoy this magical place. It is ideal for nature, relaxation, fishing, bird (and other animals) watching but also wildlife photography lovers. My village Frénois recently won an extra “flower” for the flowered town and village competition. So, go visit it. In addition, the region has many historical monuments (Muséoparc Alésia, the abbeys of Fontenay, Val des Choues and Saint-Seine, the Vix Krater, the Château de Bussy-Rabutin, medieval villages, Parcours des Lavoirs, the Source of the Seine, the Ignon and the Coquille, the Hospices de Beaune without forgetting the unavoidable Route des Grands Crus de Bourgogne. So enjoy nature but also the gastronomy and the grands crus and discover the assets of the Burgundy region. La Cabane and the 4 seasons: in winter, comfortably seated, observe the nature and the snow fall. In spring: the revival, the scents, the mushrooms and the first flowers. In summer: relaxation by the river. In autumn: walk in the woods, landscapes and colours, mushrooms, etc.

What makes this property unique

La Cabane is built on stilts at the foot of the Pont, on a small land. Its terrace opens onto the river, in a truly charming and romantic setting. Indeed, at nightfall, you will enjoy sound and light sights either comfortably installed on the terrace or under your duvet (as the bed is in the middle of the room facing the river). Just in front, you will also enjoy a small land by crossing the river with a small boat, where you can picnic on the grass or at a table at your disposal.
