Turtle's Tide - Palmetto Dunes - Monthly Rates Through 2/28/26!

Welcome to "Turtles Tide"! Enjoy this lovely fully furnished, spacious, one story villa in the Heart of Hilton Head. The owners suite is fully furnished with a king-sized bed, TV, large double closet and a master bath. Two sliding glass doors open onto a private patio with lounge chairs. The guest bedroom is also fully furnished with a queen bed and a twin bed, TV, a large closet and an adjacent separate bathroom. Each bedroom offers sufficient privacy from the living room area. Two full-size sleeper sofas in the living can accommodate your larger group!
Newly renovated kitchen has granite counter tops, solid wood cabinets, and is fully equipped with all new appliances, including a dishwasher, microwave and cooking utensils for your convenience. The front-loading washer/dryer can handle any laundry needs. The spacious dining room area seats eight comfortably. Wi-Fi access is available for your use.

Queens Grant has on-site pools that are open from April-September. The beach is an easy 10 minute walk to the beach and next to the General Store, Big Jims, the Dunes House and the tennis center. Arthur Hills and George Fazio golf course on either side. All beach distances are measured from the center of the complex. Please specify # of security gate passes are needed at time of reservation; 1 pass per car $35/week. Queens Grant allows up to 2 passes per unit. Palmetto Dunes is a 2000 acre oceanfront resort that offers 3 miles of white sandy beach, 11 miles of lagoons, 3 golf courses, and 25 tennis courts, and access to the newly renovated Shelter Marina and free transportation through the Palmetto Dunes Buggy Memorial Day-Labor Day. NO SMOKING OR VAPING ALLOWED!

Functional

Only major thing was a large cockroach in youngest daughter’s bed (right next to her face) the first night, which she killed. Other than that, the property was fine. It was clean, close to where we needed to be, and everything worked as expected. It met our needs and expectations. Thanks, Ryan, AG, and AC

Kitchen and heat

Kitchen was wonderful, equipped with every appliance a cook would want. Our problem was with the heating system. Thermostat was set at 73 degrees which would have been fine, except all the warm air rose up to the catherderal ceiling, which left us freezing on many cold night while trying to watch TV. We could not raise the temperature, it was locked at 73 degrees. For that reason, would not rent this place again.

Easter weekend vacation

Great location for our overflow family members on Easter weekend. Easily traveled between this property and Windsor II by bike. It was quiet, clean and spacious.

My family and I really enjoyed our stay in unit 687. The unit was clean and equipped with everything that you would need for an extended stay. The only thing that could be explained better is the location of the pool.

Great Location and lots of space!

We have stayed at numerous units in Queens Grant and the location is perfect for the beach and all the benefits of Palmetto Dunes. We reserved this unit late in the season and were pleased with the large updated kitchen which was well stocked. There were some items that could be addressed that could make the unit more comfortable.

Place was not what I expected. Not clean enough back yard wasn't clean. Also the quests bed bath wasn't clean and working properly.The stove oven not clean had to clean before used

Not up to par

The unit, although "clean", was very cluttered, unorganized and in great need of update. I had to unclog a drain that the previous renter had asked to be cleared. There were no extra sheets. There were extra pillows with no pillow cases. There were enough bath towels but no kitchen dish towels. The cupboards and drawers were cluttered. Dishes in the cupboards had to be rewashed. The dining room table was not the one pictured and was much smaller. It only sat 4 people. The living furniture needed to be deep cleaned especially the pillows. The patio furniture was unusable due to overgrown bushes and there were rusted beach chairs sitting there. We needed to store our bikes inside the unit because the patio was unsecured. There were paint cans and maintenance supplies left in the master bedroom closet and in the kitchen cupboards. We have been to Palmetto many times and will return in the future. Probably not in this unit.

The location was wonderful, here were our issues. 1. Beds were very poor quality, like budget hotel. Ariana comfortable mattresses, sheets and towels very thin 2. Guest bath toilet always had to be flush twice, the sink stopped up fully the entire time 3 . Never got to park near our unit, none of the parking places

Nice for a short stay

Nice unit w some good updates, could use more. Convenient location on middle of island, short drive to anything you like. Close to golf but beach is not walkable, quite a ways to the ocean.
