Welcome to Flagstaff Slice of Heaven — a peaceful 2-bedroom, 1-bath cabin tucked away on 2.25 private acres and bordered by the Kaibab National Forest on two sides.
This is the kind of place where you can feel away from everything without actually being stranded in the middle of nowhere. Flagstaff and Williams are both about 25 minutes away, so you’re close enough for groceries, restaurants, breweries, Route 66 exploring, and small-town charm — but far enough out to enjoy the quiet, wildlife, stars, and fresh mountain air.
Come for the Grand Canyon, Sedona, Flagstaff, Williams, Snowbowl, Route 66, Bearizona, hiking, and Northern Arizona adventure.
Stay for the peace and quiet.
And maybe the elk.
The Cabin
The cabin has 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom — cozy, comfortable, and roomy enough for families, couples, or a small adventure crew.
Both bedrooms have queen beds, and there’s a queen-size floor mattress that works well in the living room if your group needs a little extra sleeping space.
The open living space is made for slow mornings, cozy nights, board games, ghost stories, hot chocolate, Netflix, and warming up by the fireplace after a full day of exploring.
The kitchen is fully stocked — and we mean fully. You’ll find plenty of cookware, spices, mugs for late-night cocoa, a crock pot, pots, pans, and yes, a wine opener. Because priorities matter.
Step outside and you’ll find one of our favorite parts of the whole property: the huge deck. It’s perfect for morning coffee, sunset drinks, outdoor meals, wildlife watching, and stargazing that may ruin city skies for you forever.
The Experience
Stargazing: With no city lights nearby, clear nights can be incredible. Stars, shooting stars, constellations — the whole sky likes to show off out here.
Wildlife: Deer, elk, pronghorn, squirrels, and other local visitors often wander through, making deck time feel like your own little nature show.
Peace and quiet: The cabin sits on 2.25 private acres bordered by Kaibab National Forest on two sides, giving you the tucked-away forest feeling without being completely disconnected.
Huge deck and outdoor dining: Sip coffee, enjoy dinner outside, watch for wildlife, catch the sunset, or sit still long enough to remember how good quiet feels.
Cozy comforts: Fireplace, smart TV, high-speed Starlink WiFi, games, washer/dryer, and the kind of little touches that make the stay feel easy.
Family-friendly setup: Pack ’n Play, stocked kitchen, washer/dryer, and space for kids to explore, play, and maybe forget about screens for a while.
Adventure at Your Doorstep
Fall is one of the best times to experience Northern Arizona. Crisp air, changing leaves, quiet trails, and cozy cabin nights all come together beautifully here.
Step right onto a hiking trail from the property, explore fall foliage around Flagstaff and the San Francisco Peaks, visit Williams or Route 66, take a Grand Canyon day trip, or head to Sedona for red rocks and cooler hiking weather.
Then come home to the fireplace, deck sunsets, wildlife, and big starry skies.
Who It’s For
This cabin is a great fit for:
Families who want room to relax, explore, play games, cook meals, and make memories together.
Couples looking for quiet nights, starry skies, slow mornings, and a romantic reset that doesn’t feel fancy or forced.
Outdoor lovers ready to hike, bike, ski, explore, stargaze, and use the cabin as a peaceful home base.
Northern Arizona travelers visiting the Grand Canyon, Sedona, Flagstaff, Williams, Route 66, Bearizona, Snowbowl, Lowell Observatory, and one of the most beautiful regions in the country.
Anyone who needs a reset from busy schedules, noise, screens, and everyday life for a bit.
Bonus Comforts
High-speed Starlink WiFi and smart TV — because sometimes you want wildlife in the morning and a movie at night.
Washer/dryer — especially handy after hiking, snow play, kid adventures, or dusty Grand Canyon days.
Fully stocked kitchen — spices, crock pot, plenty of pots and pans, cookware, mugs, and the basics that make meals easier.
Picnic table and outdoor dining — perfect for meals under the pines when the weather cooperates.
Small one-room mini-cabin with electricity — a rustic bonus space on the property that can be fun during warmer months. It is not counted as a bedroom, and we do not provide bedding for it, but guests are welcome to bring cots, sleeping bags, pillows, or anything else they’d like if they plan to use it.
A Few Final Notes
This is a real cabin in a peaceful forest setting. That’s what makes it special. You may see wildlife, hear the wind in the trees, enjoy incredible stars on clear nights, and feel like you’re much farther from town than you really are.
It’s a place to explore all day, exhale all night, and enjoy a slower, quieter version of Northern Arizona.

About the host
Hosted by Andy Wright
I was born and raised in Pennsylvania, but Arizona has been home since 2001. I’m a laid-back guy who loves travel, music, sports, the outdoors, hiking, camping, playing guitar, yoga, craft beer, brewing beer, and finding a great local brewery whenever I can.
My wife and I originally bought this cabin as a second home, and it quickly became one of our favorite places to slow down, breathe a little deeper, and enjoy Northern Arizona. Eventually, we decided it was too special not to share. We love giving guests the chance to experience the same peace, quiet, wildlife, stargazing, and mountain air that made us fall in love with the property in the first place.
Over the years, we’ve hosted hundreds of travelers, couples, and families, and we’re always grateful when guests tell us how much they enjoyed the cabin, the setting, and this beautiful part of Arizona.
As hosts, we care about making the stay feel easy, comfortable, and peaceful. We’re responsive if guests need anything, happy to share local recommendations, and respectful of your privacy once you arrive.
Our goal is simple: give you a clean, comfortable, well-cared-for cabin where you can explore all day, exhale all night, and make some great memories along the way.
Why they chose this property
We chose this area because it gave us exactly what we were looking for: peace, quiet, fresh mountain air, and a real break from the fast pace of everyday life.
The first thing we loved was the feeling. You step out of the car, breathe in the ponderosa pines, hear the quiet, and it almost feels like life slows down a notch. After busy weeks, packed schedules, and constant noise, this place felt like a reset button.
We also loved the balance of the location. The cabin feels tucked away in nature, with 2.25 private acres and the Kaibab National Forest bordering the property on two sides. You get wildlife, stars, forest, mountain air, and room to breathe.
But you’re not stranded.
Flagstaff and Williams are both about 25 minutes away, so you still have access to restaurants, groceries, breweries, Route 66, small-town charm, and everything you might need during your stay.
It’s also a great home base for exploring Northern Arizona. The Grand Canyon, Sedona, Snowbowl, Bearizona, Lowell Observatory, hiking trails, scenic drives, and historic Route 66 are all within reach.
That combination is what made us fall in love with the neighborhood: peaceful enough to truly unwind, but close enough to make adventure easy.
What makes this property unique
What makes this property unique is the balance.
You get the peaceful, tucked-away feeling of a true forest cabin — 2.25 private acres, Kaibab National Forest bordering the property on two sides, frequent wildlife, big starry skies, and the kind of quiet that helps you exhale almost immediately.
But you’re still close to the places people come to Northern Arizona to experience.
Flagstaff and Williams are both about 25 minutes away, so restaurants, groceries, breweries, Route 66, and small-town exploring are all within easy reach. The South Rim of the Grand Canyon and Sedona are both about 60 minutes away, and Arizona Snowbowl is about 45 minutes away for skiing, snowboarding, scenic chairlift rides, and mountain adventure.
The cabin itself is also set up to make the stay feel easy: a huge deck, outdoor dining, fireplace, high-speed Starlink WiFi, smart TV, washer/dryer, Pack ’n Play, games, and a fully stocked kitchen with just about everything you need to cook, snack, sip, and settle in.
Then there are the moments you cannot really manufacture: deer or elk wandering by during coffee, kids spotting squirrels from the deck, the sky lighting up with stars, or everyone finally slowing down after a full day of exploring.
That’s the sweet spot here.
Adventure when you want it. Peace when you need it. Comfort in between.
