About this property
Watch the forest come alive - spring wildlife & trails await!
Escape to serenity at this charming 2-bedroom, 1-bath cabin tucked away on 2.25 private acres, bordered by the Kaibab National Forest on 2 sides. This cabin gives you the best of both worlds - wild forest vibes + all the comforts you actually want. Come for the stars, stay for the peace and quiet (and maybe the elk). Though it feels like you’re miles from civilization, you’re just a short 25-minute drive to Flagstaff or Williams - close enough for day trips, but far enough to truly unwind.
The Cabin
2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom – cozy, but roomy enough for families, couples, or your adventurous crew. Queen beds in both bedrooms and a queen size floor mattress, if needed, that works great in the living room.
Open living space with a fireplace for ghost stories and hot chocolate, romantic weekends, or board games and Netflix binging with the family.
Fully stocked kitchen and I mean fully! (yes, there’s a wine opener and plenty of mugs for late-night cocoa).
Huge deck with mountain views and jaw-dropping stargazing - the kind that makes you want to stay outside until your coffee goes cold.
The Experience
Unforgettable Stargazing: With no city lights to dim the night sky, you’ll see every star, shooting star, and constellation practically auditioning just for you.
Wildlife Encounters: Deer, elk, pronghorn, and squirrels are frequent visitors, making your morning coffee on the deck feel like a nature show.
Huge Deck & Outdoor Dining: Relax and soak in the mountain views with your coffee and a few adult libations, or enjoy dinner on the picnic table.
Cozy Comforts: Gather by the fireplace after a day of exploring, or relax with a movie on the smart TV.
Family-Friendly: Pack-and-play provided, plus a fully stocked kitchen and washer/dryer to make longer stays easy.
Adventure at Your Doorstep
Step right onto a hiking trail from the property, or venture out to nearby attractions:
Grand Canyon National Park (just over an hour away)
Snowbowl Ski Resort for both summer and winter adventures
Whether you’re seeking romance, family time, or outdoor thrills, this cabin is the perfect base camp for it all.
Who’s It For?
Families (Pack ’n Play included for the tiny adventurers).
Couples looking for a romantic getaway with starry skies and quiet nights.
Outdoor lovers ready to hike, bike, ski, and explore.
World travelers visiting one of the most beautiful areas in the United States.
Anyone who needs to hit the reset button and log out of civilization for a bit.
Bonus Comforts
High speed Starlink WiFi and smart TV (because sometimes you need both bears and binging).
Washer/dryer so you don’t bring half the forest home with you.
Everything you could possibly want or need in a kitchen - epic selection of spices, crock pot, and more pots and pans than you can handle!
Picnic table for outdoor meals under the pines.
Small, one-room mini-cabin on the property with electricity. Could be a great place for the older kids or a challenging in-law to sleep during the warmer months. We do not provide bedding for it, but feel free to bring your cots/sleeping bags/pillows, e.t.c with you.

The cabin is comfortable and clean, with everything needed for a great stay. My son and I spent a very memorable week here as dad and son. The location is really ideal for many area attractions - Sedona, Flagstaff, nearby trails and wilderness, Route 66, and much more. The area is really beautiful and quiet. The host was great, and answered any questions quickly. Five stars - and we are definitely coming back!

Perfect cabin to escape to. My two kids (5 & 2) absolutely loved this place. We went to Bearzonia and the deer farm one day, which were fantastic. We got to hike in the woods, sit by the fire and just slow down. We even got to enjoy the first snow of the season!

This had plenty of space for our family of 4!
Outdoors in the evenings we played horseshoes, enjoyed the deck seating, and walked around. Sunsets were amazing. Cool mornings perfect for coffee in the rocking chair.
Great location for our ventures to Williams, Grand Canyon and Snow Bowl. Five hours from our home, but we'll probably be back!

About the host
Hosted by Andy Wright
I was born and raised in Pennsylvania, but have called Arizona my home since 2001. I Iove traveling, music, sports, the outdoors, and craft beer - not necessarily in that order. I also enjoy hiking, camping, playing guitar, attending music festivals and sporting events, yoga, brewing beer, and visiting new craft breweries.
We love sharing our amazing cabin with guests so they get to experience the peace, serenity, and magic of a place we truly love. We've hosted hundreds of travelers and families and continue to get messages letting us know how much they enjoyed the space, the property, and this region of Arizona. We are very happy and excited to provide people with a phenomenal experience.
Why they chose this property
We all know how fast-paced and hectic life can get, and we were looking for a spot that could take us away from all that. We hit the jackpot! This place is super peaceful, serene, and the stress just melts right off of you as soon as you step out of your car and breathe in the sweet scent of ponderosa pines. All of us need a little bit of that special sauce to keep things on an even keel.
What makes this property unique
Other than recharging your soul, our place offers a lot of unique benefits. We are a stones throw away from some of the most beautiful places in the country - 60 minutes from the South Rim of the Grand Canyon, 60 minutes from Sedona, 45 minutes from Arizona's best skiing in the winter months (Arizona Snowbowl). All that accessibility and you feel like you're out in the middle of nowhere enjoying frequent visits from the resident deer, elk, and antelope and a million dollar view of just about every star in the sky. We would be selfish not to share this experience with people, so what are you waiting for?!?
