The Grizzly Den is a 1023 sq. ft. custom-crafted, cedar-sided cabin. The cabin offers a huge Great Room with a cathedral ceiling, a large master bedroom with queen bed, plus 1 inner-spring Futon in the living area, large fully-furnished kitchen, and bathroom with full-size bath tub and shower. There is a loft area upstairs perfect for the kids to play or sleep. The living area has a flat screen TV with DVD and Blu-ray player. This cabin is Pet Free. Will sleep up to 6 people.

Wonderful cabin with beautiful setting

The cabin was a perfect get away in the Alaska wilderness. Lake access was great for the family with canoes for guests to use. The flowers surrounding the cabin were amazing

Great Stay

This experience could not have been better. A great location to experience Denali. Talkeetna was a great stop as well. The hosts were the best. So kind and accommodating. The cabin was so clean and had a ton of space. A great last stop on our vacation!

Perfect cabin in the woods.

Our host Susie & Rod were so friendly and made sure we had all things necessary for an enjoyable stay. Gateway Cabins were a perfect location to be able to visit all the great parks and towns in this part of Alaska.

My husband and I bought this property in 2000 and slowly built it into the gem it is today. We adore Gate Creek Cabins for all that it has brought to our family.

What makes this property unique

Gate Creek Cabins brings peace and tranquility to our lives. Drinking coffee on our porch and listening to the soothing sounds of this great land is a fabulous way to start any day. Taking off on a snowmachine/snowmobile ride right from the property is a convenience I will never take for granted. Coming home after a fun filled day in the snow to a warm cabin filled with the smells of dinner simmering in the crockpot is a treat that would delight anyone's senses.
