The hosts thought of so many little details - down to the snacks and cereal/milk. It was impeccably clean and located perfectly between Liberty and Gettysburg with the unexpected bonus of the covered bridge and observation tower too. We hope to come back again soon!
This is an Amazing rental. Nora is a Fantastic Hostess. They have provided everything you need. There is so much room. We completely felt at home. Wonderful stay!!!

This property is a gem in Gettysburg PA
The hosts thought of everything. Would definitely recommend it and would not hesitate to stay there again.
Beautiful place to stay, very quiet neighborhood, and extremely thoughtful host. We’ve stayed here previously, and will not hesitate to return again the next time we’re in the area. :-)
Beautiful, peaceful, green countryside. Too many extras to list - hosts make sure you are well provided for with kitchen extras. The pool table was fun!
The place was quiet and comfortable with plenty of space. The pool table was fun, and the snacks/cereal and milk were a nice touch. It was also very close to Gettysburg attractions. We would definitely stay again.
Our 3 year old begged to go back to “the farm house”
You really feel like you’re in the country. It’s a beautiful area that we felt safe and away from the hustle of the city. Yet we were close enough to places like grocery stores and pharmacies. The hosts provided valuable information about the area, and we felt very welcomed by the amenities. We usually stay with family when we come up to the area, but we felt right at home at the “farm house”
We have stayed at this location many times. It is a great Space and Nora and Don are wonderful hosts. We look forward to staying again. we call it our home away from home.
The property was very nice, clean and roomy. It was only a 15 min drive to Gettysburg which made it nice for site seeing and visiting places. definitely would recommend this place for a weekend team retreat!
Hosts were very helpful and welcoming. Quiet, welcoming and beautiful home.

About the host
Hosted by Nora
We fell in love with Gettysburg while we were still living in Montgomery County Maryland. The area was so beautiful and the people very friendly. We enjoyed learning more about the history of the area and how it affected the history of our great nation. When we retired, it was the logical choice for our new home. We remained close to our adult children while choosing a more relaxed lifestyle in a very interesting location. . We love to travel and to meet the travelers who come to stay here in our apartment.
Why they chose this property
Gettysburg is a relaxing change of pace for travelers who are touring cities along the East coast. It is a chance to "recharge your batteries' before taking on the next large city on the itinerary. We have had guests request an additional day just because it was so relaxing and quiet here.
What makes this property unique
The approximately 2,400 sq ft apartment is large enough that each person can have his or her own space. That is important when part of a guest's trip has included some tiny hotel rooms.
The patio is private. There is a gas grill for guests only and a table with 6 chairs plus a small bar with two bar stools which serves as the smoking lounge for any smokers and great place to enjoy the first cup of coffee in the morning or a cold beverage in the afternoon after a day of touring..
