Visiting the Somme

Lovely location and surroundings. Clean, comfortable and compact accommodation. We mainly used this as a base at the end of our days out on the Somme and it suited our needs for a couple.

Great overnight stopover

This property was perfect for our overnight stay. We enjoyed stretching our legs, after a long journey, in the garden with all the games available. Inside was perfectly equipped to prepare a simple evening meal. The space has been used so cleverly inside and it was a very comfortable stay for us all.

Perfect for Somme region

Quaint little wooden gite in a peaceful village rural location. Great location for visiting WW1 memorials around The Somme region. Amiens is a beautiful city about 25 minutes away. We used as a base to visit Lille and Paris for the Olympic’s and both were about an hour and a half drive away. The host was constantly in touch for arrival and made us feel very welcome.

Small but cosy and clean

The property is not big, bu it has its charm. It is clean a d the host was very friendly. We were a bit surprised that linen was not included in the price.

La roulotte est un hébergement insolite avec une surface de 20m2. Nous avons essayé d'optimiser l'espace pour rendre le séjour agréable. En effet, les draps et le linge de toilette ne sont pas inclus dans le prix. Mais je vous ai prêté gratuitement les serviettes et vous n'avez réglé qu'une seule parure de draps (au lieu de 2).

Peaceful Stay Amongst wonderful Birdsong

Excellent accommodation in a beautiful countryside setting. Although it was a little drive each day for our WWI touring it was well worh it. No hustle and bustle of towns or cities. Our hosts could not have been more helpful. We will keep this on our list for our next visit and recommend to anyone.

Nous avons été très bien accueilli par Delphine et Christophe. La roulotte est bien agencée et bien isolée, le radiateur s'est révélé inutile en ce mois d'avril. Les enfants ont adoré dormir dans une roulotte.

Tout le nécessaire pour le ménage est fourni : les produits ménagers sont dans la salle de bains et le balai, la pelle (...) se trouvent dans un coffre à l'extérieur.

Gîte original et cocooning.

Nous avons passé un week-end avec nos 2 enfants dans ce gîte superbe et bien équipé. Nous n'avons pas eu la chance de profiter de l'extérieur car le temps n'y était pas mais ce n'est que partie remise... La propriétaire est très gentille et arrangeante. Nous recommandons ce joli gîte (entièrement pensé et créé par les propriétaires) pour visiter la Somme. Après le marché de noël, nous comptons faire les ortillonages... nous savons où nous irons passer la soirée et la nuit!!!

Un week-end au calme

Une roulotte au calme pour passer un week-end insolite. Très bon accueil de Monsieur. Endroit propre et bien agencé. Lit confortable (mais il faudrait peut-être envisager de doubler le nombre d'oreillers ou d'en fournir de plus "épais"). Petite attention sympathique à notre arrivée (des biscuits maisons nous attendaient sur le table). De nombreux documents touristiques à disposition. Je recommande cette location à tous les amoureux du calme et de la nature.

Trop bien

Nous étions un groupe de 5 et on a adoré. On a pu jouer au ping pong et à la pétanque, on a bien profité du jardin et on a fini avec une barbecue. Endroit calme et très confortable. Véronique et son mari sont adorables, compréhensibles et très attentifs. On a trouvé ce qu'on cherchait. Impeccable

Very nice!

The house is like a gypsy caravan. Beautifully made and furnished by the owners themselves. The kitchen very well, the bed very comfortable and the bathroom very good as well..a bit small but we didn't mind. Good heating and water, everything very clean. You can use the spacious garden and have a parking space. Take in account that the caravan is one space so everybody had to go to sleep at the same time :-) We stayed only one night but enjoyed it!
