So great!

We had an amazing stay on this property! It was the best way to round out our trip. There is lots of privacy, a fully stocked kitchen, a very comfy bed and the most wonderful breeze! Communication from RJ was fantastic and included lots of Recs! The drive in is -wild- at first, but you get used to it. Def would stay here again, and def recommend that you stay here as well!

Secluded, with a stunning view

When we weren't out exploring this beautiful part of the island, we spent our time on the deck at Caribo taking in the stunning views of the coastline, the waves and the ever-changing light. Absolutely magical. Poz, the property manager, met us in Wesley and kindly escorted us to the villa. The track in is all part of the adventure! We caught a glimpse of two jacos flying across the track late one afternoon as we returned from town. These brilliant green parrots with a red neck patch are endangered and can only be found in Dominica. RJ and Janelle responded to our questions quickly. They offered lots of suggestions about where to go (with great maps), where to shop and where to eat. They provided some grocery basics and freshly frozen local fish when we arrived...what a nice touch!! We had a wonderful stay and would recommend Caribo to anyone wanting to get away from it all in Dominica.

Beyond expectations

Staying at the house at Caribo Bay is definitely not your typical stay but its more of an experience. I came to Dominca looking for an experience and the house was in line with an adventure that i wont forget. Came in July so it was a bit warmer than expected but nothing to terrible. The drive to the property was slightly challenging but all a part of the experience. The lush natural garden surrounding the grounds was amazing. The view from the balcony was mind blowing. The location is in the heart of nature itself so keep that in mind if you arent truly a nature lover.
