This large 10-people stone rental house (270 m²) is located 40 minutes from Bordeaux and 5 minutes from Blaye, in the heart of the Blaye vineyards. The ground floor features a large fully equipped kitchen that provides a dishwasher, induction stove, refrigerator-freezer, microwave, classic and Senseo coffee makers, a toaster, kettle, food processor, raclette set, and television. The living room features a television and a Hi-Fi stereo system. In the relaxation area, you can find a day bed and an additional 130-cm sleeping arrangement. The laundry room is equipped with a washing machine and a dryer. There are two toilets, a garage with a ping-pong table, and a garden with an arbour, garden furniture, and a barbecue. The upstairs features three bedrooms with 180-cm king-size beds and a shower room each, two toilets, cupboards for storage, and a bedroom with two 90-cm trundle beds. Linen is provided (sheets, bath towels, and tea towels). Water and electricity are included. Perfect for quiet holidays; 40 minutes from Bordeaux, 45 minutes from St-Emilion, 25 minutes from Médoc Castle, and 1 hour from the beaches.

Lovely, huge gite!

The gite was lovely and a lot bigger than we expected, but there were only 4 of us who visited. The gite had everything we needed, and the view was lovely - across the road was a vineyard, but the gite is on a road where, although cars are few and far between, they do drive far too fast. We had a lovely few days at the beginning of our holiday but on the fourth day a taxi drove into us at speed (not near the gite, on the way to Jonzac) and the hire car we were in was flipped over and ended up upside down, and we were all taken to hospital. We got a cab back to the gite that night and the next day I messaged the owners to ask if they could recommend somewhere that could deliver food to us. 10 minutes later, Cathy showed up at the door, took me to a supermarket, waited for me, then drove me back to the gite. Fantastic client service! Sadly, we had to leave the gite early as we no longer had a car so had to move to the centre of Bordeaux for the remainder of our time in France - we would have loved to have stayed in the gite but it just wasn't possible without a car as it is very remote. The only small thing that would have made our stay better would have been some basics there on our arrival - tea, coffee, milk, bread, etc. I realise that some guests may only spend 1 or 2 nights, but we were there for 10 nights and all the shops were shut when we arrived so we couldn't even have a cuppa in the morning. Apart from that, everything was spot on - well done, ladies!

Superbe maison au coeur des vignes ! On y a passé nos vacances en famille, 3 couples, 5 adolescents, chacun avait son espace. Les chambres sont belles avec leur salle de bain attenantes, la cuisine est très fonctionnelle et conviviale, la buanderie très appréciable !Petites balades sympas à faire à côté, très beaux paysages... le seul petit bémol pour les fans de l'océan, c’est pas à côté... mais faisable en voiture... prévoyez egalement financièrement la traversée de l'estuaire...!On a été ravi des contacts avec les propriétaires, la dame qui entretient la maison et les gens du voisinage, tous sont très avenants et très sympathiques...!Bref, nous avons passé d'excellentes vacances dans un cadre magnifique, avec tout confort ! Grande maison, bien agencée, confortable, très bien équipée et "de bon goût". Plaisir de trouver les lits faits à l'arrivée. Seul bémol : la route assez dangereuse - surtout avec de jeunes enfants - car les voitures (il y en a peu heureusement!) n'ont pas de visibilité et roulent vite. Dommage aussi que le hangar de l'autre côté de la route coupe une partie de la vue sur cette belle région. Appréciation très positive dans l'ensemble cependant.

La casa è molto bella con spazi ampi. Ideale per gruppi numerosi. Noi eravamo due famiglie e non abbiamo usato tutti i letti. La casa è dotata di ogni confort e molto ben accessoriata. Il giardino è piccolo ma comunque sufficientemente grande per poter mangiare anche fuori e fare una grigliata. La posizione è ottima. Une belle maison très très bien équipée où on se sent chez soi ! Un vrai havre de paix dans un endroit sympathique au milieu des vignes et un environnement très joli. Merci à M et Mme Raimond pour leur gentillesse et leur confiance. Après un long voyage on peut avoir qu’un large sourire, quand on arrive dans un endroit avec une propreté irréprochable et avec des petites attentions comme café, sucre etc. Notre groupe de 8 adultes, 2 ados et un enfant avait une large espace, avec des sanitaires séparés pour chaque couple. Nous avons passé un séjour très agréable, où vraiment tout a été pensé pour le bien-être des occupants. Nous recommandons vivement !

Très agréable maison dans un environnement magnifique!

Nous avons passé un très bon week-end familial dans cette maison aux vastes chambres impeccables tant dans la propreté que la qualité de la literie et des sanitaires. Chaque chambre (ou presque) a sa salle de bain. La cuisine et le séjour sont bien équipés et confortables. Les environs sont propices aux promenades et visites, et la ville de Blaye et la vue sur l'Estuaire de la Gironde très appréciables. Les hôtes sont très aimables et discrets. Nous avons préféré, pour l'extérieur, nous tenir sous le auvent de la cuisine car la vue y est plus belle que dans le jardin, même si au bord d'une route (très peu passante). Les enfants ont apprécié de pouvoir jouer au ping-pong. Nous recommandons vivement cette maison au cœur des vignobles et y retournerons avec plaisir.
