Trade your shoes in for flip flops and head to the beach! Only first secure your stay at the “Avalon" condo at the popular Beach Club of North Padre Island. “Avalon” ~ a splendid FIRST-floor 1-bedroom condo, remodeled from the inside out with lovely coastal décor and a touch of the whimsical. Ideal for up to 3 adults or a small family of 4, for your next beach getaway ~ with surf & sand a block away. Luxury resort-style amenities: pool, hot tub, Finnish sauna, fitness gym ~ and more await you!

The “Avalon” condo is tastefully decorated with high-quality furnishings including the bedroom suite's Sealy's King-size "Magnificence Plush Pillow Top" mattress. In addition, a surprisingly comfortable Queen-size sofa sleeper accommodates up to 2 in the living room. Electronic-wise, "Avalon" is decked-out with high-speed WiFi throughout; Spectrum cable/WiFi smart-tv in the living room; plus a WiFi smart-tv in the bedroom. The galley kitchen is equipped to the hilt and you'll find the drip coffeemaker and hospitality coffee set-up in the "barista" cupboard, plus there's an assortment of tea, as well. Then the Beach Club offers all the restorative resort-like amenities to vacationers and residents alike, including a heated pool and jacuzzi hot tub in tropical palm surroundings, fitness center, dry-heat sauna, club house, gazebo, bbq and picnic areas. Only a 5-minute walk along the brick path to lovely Whitecap Beach or drive and park on the sand (if you have a parking permit). No need to go far for fishing. Believe it or not, there is a saltwater fishing pond right at the Beach Club! Just bring the poles and bait and make sure your fishing license is up-to-date for age 17 and above! It's all here – fun, sun, surf, fishing and activities galore!

Please, NO PETS or EMOTIONAL SUPPORT ANIMALS: Our family has severe allergies and it is imperative that we keep our premises dog/cat dander-free. Folks with emotional support animals, regretfully, we must decline your inquiry to book due to this. Load and start the dishwasher
Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish

Please return the pool/gym key card to the "Avalon" Welcome board to avoid replacement fee. Thank you!
On your way out, please message "Bye (Avalon)" on your Vrbo message thread.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
- NO EMOTIONAL SUPPORT ANIMALS / NO PETS: Due to severe allergies, we cannot risk our family's health and must maintain this policy without exception.
- POOL KEY: Do remember to leave (white plastic) pool key in condo on Welcome sign upon check-out. Replacement fee will be charged for missing key.

Great weekend getaway

The Avalon was perfect for our weekend getaway. Very quaint and appreciated the little things like sweetner for our coffee so we didn’t have to find a grocery store immediately upon arriving. Nice one block stroll the the beach is perfect.

Great condo

This condo has everything you need for an enjoyable stay at the beach. Walking distance from the beach. Reserved parking and available parking close by for guests. So many personal touches made this a home away from home. We’ll definitely plan to stay here again!

It was a perfect home away from home

We loved the decorations, so clean and they had everything we needed and our search for things was fun. We met family on the island and we had great conversation and laughter like it would be in my home. I would make one suggestion please add a clock. I will be glad to make referrals to anyone I know

Great stay on Padre Island

Great property with all the amenities. Richard and Marilyn are very responsive and always available to answer your questions. My wife and I were there for seven days visiting my brother who was staying in a different unit at the Beach Club. But his unit wasn't as nice or as well-equipped as ours. Easy walk to the beach from the property and there's very nice fitness center onsite. All in all, a great place to spend your time on Padre Island. Brian and Mary Ann Arnold MO

Clean, private and quiet

The ground floor unit was clean, private and quiet. As a matter a fact, we really didn't hear anyone above us or any dogs barking as the complex allows dogs. It was a breeze to get into the unit and we appreciate the keypad instead of a key to get in and out of the condo. The king size bed was comfortable, A/C worked well and the kitchen had everything we needed. We enjoyed going to the pool and even borrowed a book to read from the recreation center. It was a short walk down to the beach and the beach was clean. The only thing we did not find was beach chairs so that would be a suggestion to bring if you want to spend time at the beach. We enjoyed going to Surfside Sandwich Shoppe, Doc's Seafood and Hard Knocks for meals. We recommend touring the USS Lexington which is a short drive away.

It was very pleasant and the condo was just a walking distance to White cap beach which was our favorite beach there. Hosts were very quick to reply and everything we needed was provided. Definitely will come back.

My wife and I, hosts of Splendid Condos-by-the-Sea, have traveled the globe while serving in full-time ministry. We enjoy returning to our favorite historic landmarks, especially in the highlands and islands of our beloved Scotland where we've hosted numerous tours. But closer to home, we now have a new favorite island to visit – North Padre Island of Corpus Christi, Texas.

Having been raised in Santa Monica, California, we are beach people to the core. There’s something about the beach that is restorative and relaxing – the sound of waves, the expanse of the sea, and its wind blowing sea air on the face, and even the sound of squawking seagulls. And for us, a strong presence of God and the display of His awesome power is ever present at the beach. It’s hard to describe. As Vrbo Premier hosts of this splendid condo by the sea we call "The Avalon," we'd love for you to experience it all, too. Ahhh, for the simple beach life, we invite you!

Why they chose this property

Marilyn and I stepped out by faith and have purchased a beautifully located 1-bedroom condo at the Beach Club on North Padre Island in Corpus Christi, Texas. We’ve named it “Avalon” because it reminds us of a special destination we visited in our dating years, namely Avalon Harbor on Catalina Island. And like that wonderful Avalon, it’s only a 5-minute walk to the beach and a 1-minute drive onto the sand. It’s an amazing place as the YouTube aerial video clip will show you. What makes this property unique

We believe acquiring the "Avalon" was an answer to prayer. For years we've dreamed of having a little place of our own by the beach, as well as making it available for others to enjoy. We found the "Avalon" condo situated exactly where we imagined our condo to be – on the first floor of the building closest to the Whitecap Beach, in the ever-desirable Beach Club. And furthermore, it's only 50 yards or so to the heated pool, jacuzzi, sauna area, and small private fishing lake. Even our little patio has the feeling of privacy and landscaped in front with its own beautiful miniature tropical palm and flowering oleander bush. It's definitely a little oasis and haven of rest and refreshing.
