House for 8 persons on 2 levels, in the village of Abbey Pierre qui Vire, in the natural park of Morvan, between Avallon and Saulieu and between Paris and Lyon (A6 15 km), in an English park (Tennis) with separate entrance, in the countryside, 15 minutes from Lake St Agnan; on the GR round the Morvan (mountain biking, rafting on the Cure), near Vezelay, Fontenay Abbey (UNESCO), Beaune, castles Chastellux and Epoisses, medieval villages of Montreal and walnut trees.
On the ground floor a large living / dining room with sofa bed, ground floor on the terrace, a kitchen.
1st floor 1 bedroom with double bed 160, 1 bedroom with 2 single beds and pull-2, a large living room with beautiful views of the countryside with double bed of 140, 1 bathroom and 1 bathroom with shower, separate toilet.
In the adjoining stables washing machine and tumble dryer and ... a real baby bar football !! and on the terrace, sunbeds, tables and chairs, umbrellas, barbecue

Nice house with a beautiful view, no mechanical noise to be heard in the environment, only birds. Very kind owners helping us with some questions the first days. Place highly recommended!

Communication by email with Gérard was very good - and even easier with Sylvie! Very helpful & informative hosts. A charming house amidst amazing grounds. A great cafe/restaurant/shop in the village with a lovely patron. Great biking country if you have e-bikes or you like to sweat the hard way! We have booked for 2022.

Wonderful place and surroundings

The place is very charming, the house as well as the parc around it. Unfortunately there is no sunrise nor sunset around the house. So breakfast and dinner are always in the shade. Inside the house it is cosy. The kitchen is rather small, only 2 persons at one time can be in it and the refrigarator is far too small for staying with 4 persons or more. Further in the kitchen there were some things broken and missing. The owner was very kind and reacted nicely on our feedback. As for VRBO: the Information about the house was not completely correct: we had to pay for using internet, so it did not belong to the basics as said in the description. There were not 3 bathrooms but 2 small ones with old showercurtains. And only one old toilet, only upstairs. That is not so nice when staying with more people…..and we had to pay a big amount at the start, which we did not know before. But overall we have enjoyed our stay very much!

Die Lage und das gesamte Anwesen sind ein Traum. Der Tennisplatz ist super. Das Haus ist sehr einfach, das Mobiliar z.T. sehr in die Jahre gekommen und leider war es nicht wirklich sauber bei unserer Ankunft. Fugen der Dusche und auch der Duschvorhang waren schimmelig. Wichtig zu erwähnen wäre vielleicht noch dass der Pool nicht direkt beim Haus liegt, sondern in einigen Metern Entfernung, nahe am Haus der Vermieter und deren Terasse. Die Vermieter waren nett und Kommunikation war freundlich.

Piscine decevante !

Nous deplorons le probleme de la piscine pas chauffee alors que j'avais eu la certitude avant de reserver que la piscine allait etre ouverte et chauffee, ce que le proprio avait oublie de mentionner, c'est que la piscine allait etre chauffee a 21 degres (car c'est plus ecologique !)Les enfants etaient tres decus. Belle et immense propriete dans un parc dans le Morvan. Maison assez vieillotte neanmoins mais sympa, surtout le billard qui est top. Terrain de tennis digne de ce nom. Le four etait salle et ne fonctionnait pas.Surtout ne pas se fier a la piscine (qui est mise en avant dans le descriptif) sauf peut etre en plein ete.

Bel environnement mais manque d’équipement de qualité

Maison de caractère dans un bel écrin de verdure, piscine agréable bien clôturée entourée de végétation et de rosiers fleuris, de belle dimension mais non chauffée (dommage cela aurait été nécessaire surtout avec l’accès limité jusque 15h), tennis en bon état et a notre entière disposition, Aménagement intérieur avec de beaux volumes et bonne literie mais équipements vétustes (four, grille, pain aspirateur et fer à repasser), pas de wifi et un seul wc à l’étage.

Sehr schönes Haus in idyllischem Park

Sehr schoenes Haus mit besonderem Charme in idyllischem Park. Mit kleineren Fehlern wie fehlendem Schrank + sehr kleinen Waschbecken. Wuenschenswert wäre ein weiteres WC im EG in dem großen Haus. Pool wollten wir trotz kühlem Wetter nutzen, leider war er nicht betriebsbereit.

Le Morvan, une belle découverte. La propriété est très belle. Nous avons été déçus de ne pas avoir pu accéder, durant tout notre séjour, à la piscine (un des critères principal de notre choix). Nous aurions apprécié être averti à l’avance pour éviter la grande désillusion à nos enfants. Le terrain de tennis est tres chouette.

Weekend entre amis

Si vous êtes à la recherche de calme pour un weekend en famille ou entre amis vous serez conquis. Merci à Gérard en Sylvie pour leur accueil et leur gentillesse. Nous avons pu profiter d'une maison vaste et plutôt bien équipée, un terrain de tennis dans un état irréprochable, à l'instar de la piscine. Encore merci pour ce weekend fort agréable.

Im Park

Die Unterkunft hat viel Charme und hat nicht nur einen Garten, sondern einen Park. Es ist ideal um "runterzukommen", zu reden, zu spielen, die Familie zu genießen. Es gibt keinen Lärm und keinen Verkehr.

Haus in einem wunderschönen, großen Park

Das alte Haus ist einfach, aber sehr schön. Der Park mit dem alten Baumbestand traumhaft. Es gibt also viel Platz. Der Tennisplatz ist in einem sehr guten Zustand, ebenso das Schwimmbad. Darüberhinaus ist ein Tor aufgestellt und und im Haus gibt es einen Pool-Billiard und einen Tischkicker. Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich und bemüht, ihren Gästen einen tollen Aufenthalt zu ermöglichen. Alles in allem super!

Super cadre reposant dans un lieu verdoyant. Idéal pour être au calme et sécurisant pour notre chien. Le terrain de tennis à proximité est un sacré atout. La maison est spacieuse, confortable et bénéficie d'un joli cachet. Seule petite ombre au tableau, le wifi est payant. Avec des ados, cela est difficile de s'en passer...

superbe week end

Dans un cadre magnifique avec un parc immense nous avons passé un tres bon week end au calme dans une maison chaleureuse et charmante.L'acceuil du proprietaire est conviviale et il delivre de bon conseil pour les visites.Nous y retournerons tres certainement.Ne passer pas votre chemin et arreter vous a la maison du potager!!!
