Lovely place

A lovely home within walking disrance of Rouen city centre. Very clean and lots of equipment provided including bedding and towels. Celine was lovely and very helpful. Very much enjoyed our stay.

Nice stay

We had a little hiccup with check in due to not knowing about the lock box with the key in it. This was our first time in France. Once we were able to get the code and get in it was clean and as described. We had a car. Even though there was some road construction going on we had no issues with parking in the street. Public transportation was very close and easy to use. There’s a grocery store close by. The garden area in the back was nice with plenty of chairs to relax. There’s no a/c but once you open the windows there is a very nice breeze. The host gave us an extra fan but we ended up not really needing it since it cools off at night. There were plenty of towels and comfortable beds.

Absolument parfait pour visiter Rouen. La maison est jolie, confortable, au calme. L'accès à Rouen très facile avec les transports en commun au bout de la rue. Boulangerie et Carrefour Market à quelques minutes à pied. Et en plus il y a un jardin !

Maison bien rénovée avec goût. Quartier calme. Stationnement souvent disponible juste devant la maison dans la rue. Une appréciation générale positive. Pour le moins bien pour amélioré le logement : Literie un peu dur, manque de vaisselle, de rangement et table tout juste pour quatre personnes pour une maison accueillant 7 personnes. Problème d’intimité au niveau de la porte de salle de bain vitrée mais que partiellement brouillée, idem fenêtres salle de bain vers jardin et la porte des toilettes ancienne jolie mais laissant entrevoir de l’escalier ce qui se passe dans le toilette. Ces détails améliorés la maison sera parfaite. Merci.

Lovely stay in Sotteville-lès-Rouen

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The property was well presented and had all that we needed for an enjoyable holiday. The property is a short walk from the metro and a few stops to Rouen centre. There are well located boulangeries (au petit pétrin was our favourite), a fruiterie and boucherie, as well as several supermarkets in walking distance. The house itself was well described with a lovely garden and conservatory. We stayed as a family of three and there were lots of kids toys and amenities which helped. During our stay the hot weather meant the second floor was very hot indeed, to note for larger groups staying. (There is a twin room and a play room with a toddler bed on the second floor.) We would have benefited from air conditioning, although the cooling fan was helpful.

Notre séjour se résume à 3 nuits passées dans cette ancienne maison de ville typique de Sotteville. Encore en cours de rénovation mais charmante maison agrémentée d'une jolie terrasse couverte et d'un petit jardin bien tranquille à l'arrière de l'habitation. Cet espace doit être très agréable à la belle saison. Au niveau du confort, tout y est, la literie est bonne. Néanmoins, un petit chauffage d'appoint aurait été apprécié dans la chambre sous les toits. Quartier très calme. Attention, les places de parking sont très prisées dans la rue.

Un hâvre de paix et de charme à Rouen

Bonjour, Un superbe WE en famille pour suivre l’Armada 2019, dans ce gite totalement rénové avec beaucoup de goût et très bien équipé. Excellent accueil de la maîtresse de maison, qui nous a bien expliqué les meilleurs moyens pour profiter au mieux de notre séjour. On a ainsi passé un excellent séjour dans cette maison avec beaucoup de charme; escalier en bois, chaque chambre avec literie de qualité ayant son ambiance et son jardin fleuri joliment niché au calme à l’arrière... Nous y reviendrons avec grand plaisir ! Famille Kerisouet.
