A world away from the maddening crowds.This is not a tourist trap. There are no hotel resorts, no vendors hawking cheap souvenirs. Just an endless expanse of pristine beach and warm surf and spectacular sunsets, with friendly people who offer the 'spirit of aloha' with each greeting. It's like traveling back in time to the Hawaii of yesteryear, the perfect getaway from the cares of everyday life.

This non-smoking plantation style unit is located near Waimea Canyon (the Grand Canyon of the Pacific) and Barking Sands Beach, with convenient access to restaurants, movie theater, shops, markets, PMRF, and Na Pali boat tours.

It is adjacent to Kekaha Beach Park, a short walk away, and the start of 15 miles of nearly deserted white sand beach.

There is a large ocean view lanai, where you can enjoy a book or a meal, while waiting for another fantastic sunset over the ocean.

This property can be rented as a one bedroom, or with the addition of the adjacent studio room, it can become a spacious 2 bedroom, 2 bath unit. (THERE IS AN ADDITIONAL CHARGE TO ADD THE ADJACENT STUDIO UNIT), This is a second floor unit.

Picture yourself in paradise. That's where you'll be when you enjoy an unforgettable vacation at 'Hale Kekaha' just 26 miles from the Lihue Airport. With an average annual rainfall of less than 20 inches, you can almost guarantee yourself a sunny vacation regardless of the time of the year. We had a very nice stay, was very clean and we found everything we needed. Very comfortable and convenient location for us. Close to family. Laundry room on property was nice to have. The property and location were perfect for us! Clean, so close to the beach, location not crowded. We so enjoyed the Lanai for relaxation and beautiful sunsets! Kitchen was well stocked. Beds were comfortable. My wish is to stay here again someday. I will recommend this to others.

Receptive host and great location for exploring the canyon. The accommodations aren’t fancy, but they are well equipped with everything you need for cooking your own food and being comfortable after a good hike there’s a long beautiful beach to walk on where you will see mostly locals if you want to immerse yourself in the culture of Hawaii this is a good spot to do it. If you’re looking for a resort atmosphere with all the amenities right in front of you, keep looking.

Every thing was great. The one thing that I was very pleased with was the ease of getting help from the contact provided. Ms Driver was very helpful when I was not able to enter the apartment and she came over immediately and with a positive attitude.

We had everything we needed. Bed was good, shower was great, out door area was a little noisy. Traffic was a little loud. We like the area because it has more of a small town local feel.
