Charming Downtown Cambria (5 minute drive) & The Pines Lodge for the Breakfast Buffet or Dinner & Live Music at Night! Near: Hearst Castle, San Simeon Elephant Seals, Morro Bay Embarcadero, Morro Bay Aquarium, Famous Wineries & Restaurants! Please read the Guest Agreement Attachment before booking. A $500 fee per broken house rule may apply for non-compliance of guest(s) or the neighbors complain.

Guest Count & Pricing Policy

Our rates are based on the total number of guests reserved, not just the number of nights stayed. Once a reservation is confirmed, the calendar is blocked for that specific group size and prevents us from accepting other bookings that may require higher occupancy.

No refunds are provided for no-shows, late arrivals, early departures, or reductions in guest count after booking, including for holiday or peak-demand dates.

Any disturbance to anyone in the house or broken house rule(s) will result in cancelled reservation and removal from the premises with no refunds. Applicable fees will apply. Thankfully, we have never had to enforce this rule. :-)

This is a really lovely house. It was very clean, and extremely well stocked. The beds were great, and the huge couch accommodated the eight of us comfortably. The location is great- a short walk to tide pools and the bluff. We did think it was four bedrooms, but it does have the fourth bed upstairs. We were able to reshuffle the kids and it all worked out. We enjoyed the outdoor patio for afternoon snacks and deer viewing. We had a great time and hope to return soon.

The location was incredibly tranquil. No light or noise pollution. The house was a great split story so guests could sleep downstairs and people could relax upstairs and not disturb one another. The beds were very comfortable. The host was very responsive. It was nice to have a fully functional kitchen with huge refrigerator and a nice oven to do some cooking. The home was close to a lovely costal access trail. There was plenty of parking. The huge couch in the living room allowed all four of us to very comfortably relax together.

Great location and clean, but just 3 bedrooms

Property was clean and nicely appointed. Sunny, bright and comfortable. Good location for a walk to Wedgewood Beach. We are disappointed that the VRBO listing listed 4 bedrooms and there were only 3 bedrooms, so my son had to sleep in the living room and since he'll easily sleep all morning, it was disruptive and unfair to him.

Loved our stay

This was an ideal property for four seniors to stay in while attending a lawn bowl tournament in Cambria. Plenty of parking, very clean home and lots of room to spread out in. We were greeted by two young deer and a gaggle of wild turkeys - loved the natural surroundings and so close to the ocean. Second time working with Christy and she is easy to communicate with. Will definitely stay there again.

Beautiful Home, Beautiful Town!

We celebrated my mother’s 80th birthday this Memorial Day weekend in Cambria. Rented this lovely home and 3 others nearby for our extended family. This property is as advertised. Great location and very comfortable. Check-in/check-out was smooth and Christy was responsive to any questions we had. You will enjoy your stay here too!

Light and spacious home located close to the ocean

The main floor of this home has an abundance of windows . The location is quiet. It was a great home base for exploring the area. The beds are comfortable. The kitchen is up to date with lots of equipment for cooking and dining.. The two full baths and half bath were very convenient.

A special Christmas

We had a wonderful stay for Christmas! The house was clean. The beds including Murphy bed are comfortable and there is a large wonderful couch that fit all of us for hanging out Christmas morning and playing games in the evening. Deer loved the lawn next us and a great blue heron visited on the other side. The rocky beach is beautiful and less than a 5 minute walk. We would definitely stay here again!

Lovely Property

Close to beach and Fiscalini Ranch Preserve. Spacious. Stove is traditional style gas burner with plenty of cooking space. Stocked with sugar, coffee, and key spices. Local mule deer camp out in open yard, grazing on forbs. Nice cleaning staff, very helpful.

This place could be great-The beach is lovely, beds comfy. I read the fine print &review all rules-& follow them. We are guests after all!I have left this review due to an odd situation. the doorbell rang, We answered immediately (this will be important later & could have been verified by camera)it was a man saying he was there to mow & needed us to move car. this was strange-we were not expecting someone as this was not mentioned, & owners were specific about monitor #of people at the home.My husband moved car, & I sent a text message to owner. They send a long text back this was planned that most people are just out& about when they come. & they “had a few notifications from the ring doorbell for the past 20 minutes that the gardener is attempting to do his work, but it seems that no one is responding to the doorbell ringing, and he is just trying to do his job.“ This response felt accusatory & as if we should have known to allow person to come on their property. Plus there are many places stating where parking is allowed.they specifically asked us to move to place we were told not to park. When finished he hadn’t even mowed-just weed whacked the perimeter lol. It was just odd &could have been handled better. inconsistencies: Check in states 4 digit code would be to lockbox on back of home. It’s actually a code for the door, no lockbox.The listing states there is a coffee grinder, there is not.communal pool under amenities is actually a public pool across town.

Beautiful Place

We had a wonderful stay at this property. The house is set up well with two rooms on the lower level and one room on the upper level. The kitchen was well stocked, but did not have a mixer or coffee grinder. We just went to the store and bought K-cups. :). One of the most enjoyable parts of the trip was walking on a nearby 2 mile trail along the ocean cliffs. We saw seals and boats while taking in the ocean sounds. It was truly relaxing and others on the trail were very friendly. We hope to return again soon

Beautiful place and location

We stayed there for 4 nights, total of 6 on 3 of 4 nights. Fiscalini reserve was right around the corner from the house - beautiful place to walk and appreciate the coast line. House was nice and clean, kitchen well equipped with nice quality cookware. Murphy bed in living room was easy and comfortable although I thought it was a4 bedroom house, VRBO listed it that way, but it’s a 3 bedroom house. Neighborhood and Streets were nice and quiet. I would definitely recommend for 3 couples. Owner was nice, flexible and responsive to all my questions and clarifications. Highly recommend.

Our favorite so far

So comfortable and clean. Kitchen is well stocked with supplies and highly organized. The master bed has a pillow top (I think) that provided for a restful sleep. Nice patio area to sit and read or eat. My husband also enjoyed their very large TV! Not only would we be willing to stay here again but we would shift dates around just so we could stay here again.

Cambria Review

Great space, new bedroom furniture, coffee maker as well as keurig, living room/TV area large and comfortable. Walk to beach is close ( down the street and make a left, it required us to ask residents how to get to beach. The listing shows that it sleeps 7, but you should be aware that they charge $25/person/night for any people over 2. The only other issue was that you can’t control the heater/ac and it was a bit cold in the morning. We would definitely stay again.

Convenient Location, Very Comfy Beds

This was a good house for a sleepy weekend in Cambria. The kitchen was well-stocked, there were plenty of towels, the water pressure was great, and the beds were very comfy. It's also in a great part of town, very quiet, easy to walk to the beach, and tons of deer. There were ants throughout the house, though the owners left traps and spray - just keep in mind and I wouldn't set any of your luggage on the floor. Also, there is no access to the laundry so don't plan to wash anything while you're there. Overall it was great for what my group was looking for for the weekend.

Thanks for the feedback, we are happy to say that we have no problems with ants since your check out. We found the problem was the soda cans and food you left throughout the house. We were happy to drop off the ant traps and spray that you requested during your stay. We also had the house professionally sprayed inside and out after you checked out. The laundry access info is clearly detailed in the house manual (which is required to read prior to booking). We do have the option for laundry room use per the listing. We would have been more than happy to accomodate you had we known during your stay. Most guests are only coming for a few nights (as you did) and shouldn't be bringing their dirty clothes with them. There is always the local laundromat, which I guess is what the people staying at the hotels or other short term rentals do. Glad you had a great time!

What an Amazing Family Vacation!

It's always a mystery as to what to expect when you book a VRBO. That being said, we had many questions about the amenities that were provided. The owner was always quick to respond. This allowed us to only pack what we needed, which was important for a family of 8 coming from Arizona. This really helped us to feel prepared for our vacation and allowed us no to overpack. The home was generously supplied with everything you would need for 8 people. Plenty of dishes, cooking supplies, and linens. The home was very clean which helped us feel comfortable with the current state of things. It is located on a relatively quiet street which helped us feel at ease for our kids to throw the football in the street or wallk down to the beach which was less than a 6-minute walk, 2 short neighborhood blocks. The best help was the communication and helpfulness of owner. We ran into car troubles at the end of the stay and the owner worked with us to accommodate us as long as she could before the next renter. Highly recommend this property for couples or family. Open floor plan makes the living room very comfortable for 8 people.

Didn't feel like a vacation - don't remt

Not a vacation, rules were ridiculous. In addition to loading dishwasher had to do all dishes, had to handwash pots, pans, etc that didn't fit in dishwasher. Had to put out the garbage cans from the back of the yard all the way to the front ( we are ate not here to take care of your duties), false advertising about 2 full beds ( only one- the teens were pissed one had to share a bed, they left an inflable bed in the closet, it had holes in it and deflated through the night ), rule book stated they monitored you on the Ring !!! , friends are not allowed over for dinner.... Really?!?... They even count every cup, glass, plate, tupperware, salad... What the !?!! It was pathetic. Dont rent unless you want to monitored by the state. Im not there to take out your garbage. Do it yourself.
